Title: Wanted to join bounties but don't know where to start?
Post by: Leah38 on October 31, 2017, 04:05:01 PM
Many of my friends would ask me "HOW". As for me I look for post of upcoming ICO on FB  and Twitter. Look them up on Google, which I consider my bestfriend. I look into the coin/ token website. And look for its ANN Thread here in Bitcointalk. Its not easy to start for beginners just like me but I'll learn how to do it perfectly. A little observation, some advice or two from an expert. Making mistakes is normal but we should try to have that thinking of being competitive, the urge to be better if not the best. Being a bounty hunter is challenging. And there's money there too!

I totally agree with this post..I relate so much as a newbie in terms of being a bounty and airdrop hunter and being a crypto enthusiast as well. It takes time and effort to join the bounty campaign to be able to get some rewards but as long as you have the urge to learn and you also have the initiative to make a little research on your own for the infos that you need then you will eventually get to familiarize with the task and it wil become more easier as you go along.. As what they say, 'learn before you earn..' Good luck!

You can easily participate in the bounty campaigns but the token payment will be distributed once the bounty campaign is over only. If you are ICO tokens means you cannot say that you will be profitable with the tokens you got the manager. Sometime you will be able to make 1000 USD with the earning with that because of its future and it go to scratch again.

You're on the right track.  The first thing you have to do is diligent research, but don't stop with a google search and paid advertisements.  Make phone calls and check facts because these ICO projects are getting big, quickly.  Some of the ICO bounty programs can go on for months before a payment is issued but many pay very well; however ---> some tank hard and you lose all your time and effort.  Hint: look for those that offer a share of the bounty pool based on activity and do the math....

Good advice thank you! Didn't know others give rewards that long. Should check company background and campaign I think. There's lots of ICOs now and bounties.

It is good to see that you are diligently pursuing what you want. Signature campaing involvement took years before i finally decided to join. There are many ways to make money in crypto currency and in particular on bitcoin talk forum. You just have to find what project you are interested in and build your capacity to earn here!

You must choose bounty who have a big allocation like artikel (publicing). With your blogging ability you will get much stake of coin. So make your choice bro

Agreed when starting into bounty or any other campaign there will always be trial and errors as you've just started but if you dont see this as an negative thing and dont give up you'll eventually learn the pros and cons in joining bounty campaigns. Just dont be afraid to try things out as long as you have google you can learn it just dont be discourage. ICO's bounty are usually posted in services section hope this helps.

in the whitepaper you will find everything about the project, see also the track record of the founder and his team. one important thing, choose a campaign project that has a campaign manager with a good reputation.

Finding bounties is relatively easy.   You can use google to search only bitcointalk.org for threads with the word 'bounty' and limit the results to the last month to get a long list of recent bounty threads for example.

The problem now is finding a bounty which is not tied to a scam.  The last thing you want to do is end up scamming unknowingly on the behalf of a shady dev.  This takes due diligence - read their whitepaper, look at their network presence, review their code, etc.

You can check here - http://bountylord.com. And, of course, in a main BT bounty thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0 Then choose what you like.

You can join bounties but it has some minimum requirements like: you require minimum 3 months old Facebook account with 100 followers & 100 friends, 3 months old twitter Account with minimum with 100 followers & 100 friends. you can also join signature campaign but all ico requires junior membership in BCT forum to be a part of signature campaign and apart from this if you have more followers then you can earn more.

That is a very good advice for everyone. Bounty hunter can be challenging but you can always earn money. And the most important you get to choose the campaign you want to participate. So in a way you do the job you love (so rare nowadays)
My favourite campaign that I am participating right now is this one: https://www.crowdholding.com/project/68/yupie-ico I get tokens and I do what I like by sharing my knowledge

It's really hard when you're a beginner, especially if you do not know someone to teach you how to get started. I've experienced this and I can say it's really hard because I started several months ago. Well, I have a lot of people who know about this and my colleagues in 2014. But I was left behind and there was a friend who taught me here so I'm now right now I'm earning money and I can say that my friends are so much money because of this so you should study everything in the forum

I usually check icobench for the rates of the bounties that I'm trying to join; typically projects with a 3.9 rating below have a low chance of being successful. Then I read the whitepaper of the said project: see if what they're trying to achieve are realistic and has significance not just ideas thrown into blockchain.

There is usually no signatures for newbies, but you can always translate, post info on your blog, make videos etc.

Signature campaigns often suggest you have high profile rank so you should spend some time earning it.

Start searching for interesting new or upcoming ICOs. Read bounty terms. Ask their support questions

You can check an ICO in my signature. They've got pretty decent bounty programme

When you are trying to find the project you want followed to you should make research. If you plan to participate at Twitter and FB bounties it should be superficial research, if signature - you should make it better. And always remember that you are investor. You spend your own time to promote projects so it's like daily job.

You need to spend some time researching the bounty programs, reading the terms and comparing them to actually have an outlook on the big picture. Then you can figure out which types of campaigns are the most suitable for you - the time you have, the skills you have, what is interesting for you to do and how you can create value for the projects.

Look at the bounties section/thread here at bitcointalk. Also the best way to pick bounties is to look in the project, check their whitepaper and look at the team behind the project. Remember you only get your bounty if the ICO/Airdrop is successful and you have to put in a lot of time and effort. So choose wisely.

You need to promote more to get a reasonable profit from signature bounty campaigns. In this period you can focus on social media bounties as well. They are easier all you need to do is make custom tweets and some retweets.

which is better to take part in? the bounties or signature campaigns?
They are different because one is paying in bitcoins and other is paying in tokens.
With signature campaign which is paying in bitcoins is simple - you will earn bitcoins and hold.
Bounties are something to think about - first you have to choose good project, then after a month two or more you will receive tokens. Now this is tricky part - to sell them or to hold them. Price can go to moon or project can fail and you have wasted your time. You will probably learn thing or two about trading  :)

The best site for bounty programs bountylord. But first, improve your account on the forum. Improve twitter, facebook. Also you can translate a website, white paper, if you have a good knowledge of a foreign language.

Thats the risk when you do decide up on whether which one you would join either on fixed income on btc campaigns which do give on weekly basis or would risk up to join on bounty campaigns since you would like to earn tokens which would potentially give you the profits or salary more than on the amount that you can generate on btc camps. Its just a matter of risk this is why its important to choose up the potential ones.
