so coinbase will not let canadians sell their bitcoin for CDN or USD , just wondering does anybody know a safe / reliable place to sell BTC for Canadians ??
im highly considering selling at this high then buying back after the fork when the prices drop to make some extra cash / profit

Did you try localbitcoins already?

i googled some options but i didnt want to use a scam site and be screwed... thought id ask here first for some reliable members to see if anybody here is canadian and has personal experience

https://www.canadianbitcoins.com/   <---- very reliable.  I have recommended this company to friends.  A bit pricey compared to trading on an exchange though.

https://www.quadrigacx.com/  <--- probably a better bet for lower fees but verification can take a while.

I use Quadriga myself and they have been good, I can't remember if I had to verify to make my low value deals,(under 1000) but I did anyways. I think it took 24-48 hours to verify. The nice thing is if you can wait for the cash you can get it deposited direct to your bank account with no withdrawal fee, but it takes 3-5 days. The fees for selling are pretty low so it's what I've stuck with.
