I'm assuming the driver side is opposite of what American cars are?

If possible, it would be nice to see more images of the car in the imgur album.  ;)

Actually no, the driver side is left (as all american cars) because this model is for the rest of the Europe (not UK)

I'll add some photos and videos tomorrow

That's a rare car, but since you've posted this Bitcoin went up by quite a bit. It's actually going up as we speak passing another ATH. Does it mean the price will go down? Currently it's starting to be a little less competitive as there are cars normally listed for £30,000 like this (https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201711030926606?make=BENTLEY&model=CONTINENTAL&logcode=p) one from 2005 and BTC is currently at £5,750, which sets your car at £28,750.

That's a very beautiful car!  I don't have anywhere near 5BTC, so I won't be interested,
but I do hope you sell it.  Maybe one of the old school 2009 bitcoin guys who never sold
any would be interested.  Too bad I don't have the dough, as owning a Bentley has been
one of my dreams in life.  I'll definitely be watching this thread, so good luck on the sale.

Yep as always I'm always doubtful of new accounts.

Photo could have been grabbed from anywhere, no proof of ownership.

Trade with caution, probably a scam, will remove remarks if proven otherwise.

If I were selling an expensive car I'd give more details.

EDIT: More details have been given :).

If I were selling an expensive car I'd give more details.

If I was going to scam someone and I was going to try to do it using a Bentley... I don't think I would choose a 2004 or a left driver wheel Bentley in the UK.

You're most likely right, but we shall see!

OP, please be sure to include some type of time stamp in your pictures maybe?

How would you scam someone in that situation ? I'm not trolling, just genuinely wondering how that would work out, I'm trying to prevent scams myself and god knows Bitcoin made scammers fairly imaginative.

I can imagine multiple scenarios where one could scam someone, real estate for example : rent an AirBNB, hire fake lawyers ( friends) and a fake office , buy fake ID's, print fake paperwork and disappear with Bitcoin, could be done with good S.E, I would be super careful if i were to buy real estate using Bitcoin.

But as far as cars are concerned, I'm clueless.

I mean, even if he was trying to sell a rental, wouldn't he want to make his ad look more authentic ? There are tons of easier ways to scam people than cars.

Maybe it's the real deal, who knows.

Step 1:  Scammer arranges a trade on localbitcoins.com to deposit 30k pounds/euro/dollar via cash deposit for x.xx btc purchase.

Step 2:  Have buyer of "car" deposit 30k pounds/euro/dollar to the account of the localbitcoins.com trader.

Step 3:  localbitcoins.com trader thinks he has been paid for the bitcoin so releases escrow to scammer.

Step 4:  Buyer of car files chargeback/fraud through bank - chaos ....

Well if that happens it's the mistake of the buyer. If you buy a car you
1. test the car
2. check the car
3. If happy, pay the owner
4. perform change of ownership

Paying bitcoins instead of fiat is not so different from a normal trade. It's not like now you pay in bitcoins, you will pay before you get the car. That's just stupid.

as you mentioned, these are the steps to make the purchase and to protect me (seller) and the buyer.

2. check the car
3. If happy, pay the owner
4. perform change of ownership

Yes, actually I have dropped the price to 4.5 BTC

I'd happily say this is a 99% scam. Again I will remove doubt if proven otherwise.

1% this is the real deal, hopefully it is for someone but very much doubt it.

Actually I can do instagram live for that purpose! :)

Nothing personal I guess, that would have seemed shady a couple of years back, but now with the bitcoin rise and popularity, more and more legit wealthy people want to get in, hence I would not be surprised if more people were to list such cars.

Still Ok to be listed on my marketplace ?

I just listed a Tesla Model X for someone on reddit today
https://deLouvois.com/browse/luxury/2016-tesla-model-x-75d-premium-weehawken-nj/

BTW What's the USD equivalent that you would like to have it listed for ? My platform displays a BTC equivalent calculated at the current BTC/USD rate from a fixed USD price, so it protects both sellers and buyers from BTC volatility.

It's done !   I hope everything is correct.

https://deLouvois.com/browse/luxury/2004-bentley-continental-gt-georgia-europe/

Technically the BTC price currently displayed is a little less than the 4.5 BTC you mentionned on Imgur and even less than the 5 BTC you asked for when you posted your topic.
   - That's why I asked you for a USD price, it is set at $32,850 once and for all, then the platform automatically refreshes the BTC equivalent whenever the BTC/USD rate makes a move.

Right now it's very simple, you recieve an notification from us whenever a visitor submits anonymous interest in your vehicle, then we put you in relation.

 That's it.

We're a fairly new company, right now we try to keep things simple and focus on our user base growth. There are many people looking to sell their goods for Bitcoin, cars and real estate especially.

In the near future, there will be more services available through our platform this such as : escrow services, legal support for buying & selling real estate with Bitcoin, partnerships with freight transport companies for cars, art & wine storage etc...

Feel free to ask me if you have more questions about this, or if you want to modify some stuff.
