Title: [SOLD] Casascius Bitcoin Bowl Coin Post by: cryptoguyz_collectibles on November 02, 2017, 08:54:34 PM Asking
Some toning is evident, as is common with these coins. I have been informed that this is related to the slab in which they were sealed, which were never designed for long term air-tight storage. I just received one in the mail, I was going to leave that option to the buyer. Price is negotiable as per condition of the coin. Still quite rare, and eventually they're all going to look a lot more toned than this.

Dropping the price to reflect :D
Title: Re: [WTS] Casascius Bitcoin Bowl Coin Post by: dozerz on November 02, 2017, 10:51:03 PM once toning has started its hard to stop with an airtite, would need to be cleaned and then will probably return. some people pay extra for toned coins.
Title: Re: [WTS] Casascius Bitcoin Bowl Coin Post by: cryptoguyz_collectibles on November 02, 2017, 10:59:03 PM Yea, I don't want to mess with trying to clean it. It's unfortunate that they weren't shipped in proper storage. This is a normal process, it's going to affect most of the bitcoin bowl coins out there. In time, I expect most will have a far greater level of toning which could be nicer or worse. Hard to say.
