Hi friends, I am a newbie. I want to buy bitcoin. My question is if now is good time to buy Bitcoin or it is better to wait and buy it after the fork? Pls explain to me.

I would wait to until after the fork because I think the fork is apply artificial buying pressure to the market. Not 100% on this but that is what I believe on what is occuring right now.

If you can buy 1 bitcoin buy it as soon as you can, because after fork you get a free coin.

The market price is not stable now. i think it's not a good time to buy BTC.
Because I don't believe the fork time.

I think anytime you can buy bitcoinsif you can holding it for a long time and if you are not weak hand holding it just hold them for a long time getting you chance to gain and make profit.We do not know what will happen after the fork so if you not buy bitcoins right now you have chance to lose your opportunity to make profit if ever the price will keep continue to increase. So anytime you can buy bitcoins but much earlier those who holding more bitcoins can  receive a free rewards or fork coin just like the same happen with bitcoin cash..
The other opinion here like  waiting for fork you are just losing opportunity to make profit while the price is keep increasing..

I think it is good if you buy right now. We all know that before a fork, the price of bitcoin seems to dump and become a good price for buying. Also, you can have some new SegWit coib that you can sell or trade after the fork. Maybe you can just look at the bitcoin price and pick a considerable price to buy bitcoin.

There is a tiny chance that no fork will take place, since there is no need no more to fork bitcoin.
The NYA "New York Agreement" has been a compromise with the intention to keep all parts together.
Adding all desired features like Segwit or bigger blocks into the one and only blockchain.

Now Segwit is present, and the other side started their completely own adventure on august 2017.
The incentive is missing now. Avoiding a split: Failed. Adding Sewgit: Success. No reason to continue on the NYA

In my side, the btc price is at the peak now. it is not good to buy at the peak because we dont know when the btc price correction might happens.

Dont be a FOMO. i advise you to wait for the btc price correction before buying again. but for now its too late.

if you have courage to buy bitcoin when the price is in high price like now, then you can buy in any time you want but if you want to buy when the price is down then its a good for you. my advice is you can wait to buy it after the fork because usually the price is down so you have your chance to buy bitcoin at lower price and maybe the down price is too deep so you can wait for the price is increase to sell it late. but i think, you can buy right now but not for a big amount, buy at small or middle amount while you are waiting the price is down.

According to my opinion, you should buy bitcoin now as this is the best time to buy. Because segwit 2x form will happen on 16th November and you will receive free segwit 2X according to the bitcoins you hold. So if you hold one bitcoin, you will receive one segwit2X for free. That's kind of free money for you. I am not denying the fact that after the fork, bitcoin price is expected to come down a bit, but with the positive news coming from every corner of the world, it will not go down much. And if you are investing in bitcoin for long term, a sudden dip will give you a good opportunity to buy more at a later date and average out your buying price. So if you are thinking of long term, go ahead and buy now.

It is not necessarily after the fork. As you can see even before the fork happens, bitcoin's value can possibly fall down. I am not saying there is a great chance but we don't know what will happen.

So as a suggestion just observe and monitor bitcoins value and if it is low enough for you then buy some and wait for it's price to rise up again.

The best thing anyone who wants in can is spread their buys over a longer period of time. That evens out the highs and the lows.

i think it will dump more before the fork is comming well that whats happened before also....all you need to do is wait until its dip means the lowest value that it will hit,the decision is all yours.just observe wait for the dip and buy,coz after the fork it will surely pump up again.well goodluck!

I don't think anyone can answer that question, but B2X futures are priced at $2000 so that's a huge bonus.

its depends on your strategy anytime you can buy bitcoin but i suggest with you wait the hard fork correction if i'm not wrong bitcoin dump a little but during the fork hoping stay in the same value, i still believe the strongest of bitcoin standing ontop until the decision again in favor for bitcoin, and follow your own decison for yourself do not depend to the other just lear how make good profits for own decision.

i think you should wait until the fork is done, then you can have your decision to buy bitcoin or not, but i think, the price after the fork could be extremely unstable, bitcoin price may very high or will drop very quick, it depends on the big investors whether they decide to use B2X coin or not, if not bitcoin price may reach its top.

Nobody can tell you when the best time is to buy Bitcoin. The safest time would be before the fork, because their is a slight change

that the SegWit2X fork without Replay protection could mess with transactions that are done during the fork. These SegWit2X

idiots are trying to take over Bitcoin and refuse to implement "Replay protection" {If something goes wrong, people will hate

Come to think off that we would able to earn free B2x on this upcoming fork equal on the bitcoin we do have store on supported wallet or exchanges.In my advice i would definitely buy bitcoin as of now so that i would able to earn some coins too which you can eventually sell em off and would be an easy money for you. Just as expected price would really decrease after the fork and thats the time you do buyback on bitcoin itself and accumulating it while it was still cheap and still not rising up so that you wont miss the train on making profits later on when the price tends to go up again.

If you can afford it now, the general recommendation you will get because few days to when the fork will happen, there will be a surge in price which you might not be able to afford in addition to the bonus that will happen as a result of the fork which you will then be eligible for. But the issue of concern is there is a risk in everything but if you are ready, you can go for it.

I think it's better to wait for this one, even waiting for a fork will be much better than you buy at the moment, but the advantage is you will get the result of the front fork later on, so it's all your decision ..

It totally depends on your financial status. On upcoming fork, you will get bonus coin on your amount of bitcoin if you have storage bitcoin. I think it is the right time. On the other side if you want to buy with some low price, wait until upcoming fork.

Well AFAIK if you want free coin , it's better before fork but just make sure that you've select your exchanger that support your altcoin when forking has ended.
Bitcoin still show uptrend so it's worth to purchase today and keep hold as long as possible !

Do it after the fork maybe the bitcoin price will go down very hard. If you do it now you will have less chance to have more profit when you sell it the future, because btc is now expensive.

I am planning to do like that. I am currently waiting for btc's price to drop and sometime the price will drop very hard.

It's always good time to buy Bitcoin. In a few days we are going to have another hard fork called SegWit2x. For example if you have 1 BTC you will receive 1 Bitcoin SegWit2x coin. It might be hard for you to understand what exactly is SegWit2x hard fork and why some people want it. I will stay with "legacy" Bitcoin chain.

I think when there is hard fork like now, we are preparing to sell bitcoin because when hard fork,bitcoin price becomes expensive. To buy bitcoin should be done after hard fork ends because bitcoin price after hard fork will fall

It is better to wait for correction, it will definitely be up to hard fork, and if the price does not drop then go at the price that will immediately put up a sell order if the price goes down, but if the collapse is swift then the order may not work, so carefully! But Bitok sell not so much will be after hardforka, as b2x! :o
