I want to flash the original Bios back on my RX480s and I wonder if I can do this with the GPU connected to the motherboard via the riser cable (from GPU connected to the x16 lane) or do I need to plug the GPU directly in the 16x lane to be able to flash the Bios? Here's a way to flash up to 8 at a time using AtiFlash in Powershell.

I have done this many times, both to modify the BIOS and to flash it back to the original image in case I am troubleshooting or selling the card.

Everything OK. I think AMD-based GPUs will flash well too

Do not forget to install those Blockchain drivers... otherwise the flash will be useless :) I bricked my Bios my installing the blockchain drivers I ended up with 21 Mh/s per RX480, that's why I'm reflashing the original bios and try to get back to 28Mh/s with original bios and blockchain drivers.
