Has Doge been delisted now?

Nope, it is back today, sometimes I need to temporarily take coins off for a variety of reasons, BTC-e is the main exchange I use and I try to keep those coins live as a priority. The reason DOGE came down (along with the cryptsy alts) was to do with the BTC / China FUD and price fluctuations alongside low volume weekends, I wanted to see how far BTC will fall (if at all) and how it will affect the alt prices before I set the coins live again.  This is to offset the risk from a pattern of major price drops resulting in high alt sales volume, I don't like to cancel orders so I tend to de-list the coin for a few days until the values have settled or I can see how the market is trending.

You are also correct that DOGE has been an excellent performer for sales and community support, only trailing BTC and LTC, and I plan to have the coin in a new more mainstream store opening this week, while I dont quite 'get' the coin I intend to make it a permanent fixture.

Did you remove all alt coins?

Hi, sorry the delayed response, sometimes when BTC starts to crash and I am otherwise engaged with something I remove some / all coins until I can get around to adding them back in, checking the rates and seeing what's gong to happen, it saves me having to handle refunds or ask customers for more coins.

I try to keep up on what's going on as much as possible but some of these alt's are a risky business and I occasionally need to hedge against them.

I know its not a great system and I am working on providing something better for my customers and the coin teams for the hard work they put into their coins.

Yep, the prices are in a way pegged to fiat, I used to use Cryptorush for prices but they folded so I now use Cryptsy again, the problem is the buy orders, there are so many for like 0.002BTC @ 0.00003124 that to ensure I can take profit on some of these coins orders I need to choose a price some way down the list, the current and average price is not really reliable I have found as the buys are so small that orders can depreciate in value quickly, I have even lost money on some orders so I need to pick my prices carefully.

In short I need to pick a price by looking at the state of the order book, I am yet to create programmable system to determine this for me accurately.  I have had this problem since I started the site almost a year ago :( and am no closer to solving the small order volatility problem in code.

This doesn't effect BTC or LTC as their small orders are still high coin count compared to the average order value from a sale.

Ah, sucks to hear that you've actually lost money. Hopefully the opposite is also true and you made some this way too. The price fluctuations really does seem like  a problem for businesses like yours, but I'm glad you're taking the risk and hope it pays off for you in the long run.

I would like to know what is going on with Cryptosextoys? The owner hasn't been on the forums since 10th of January. I placed a order on Monday (19th) and it is still pending. I asked the support (on Tuesday) and I have yet to receive a reply from them.
