Being a Hero member you ask how to safeguard the private key? That's really a noob question though !
Anyways I will answer your question. You can either keep the private key offline by storing it on a pendrive or CD/DVD or you can write it down on a piece of paper. You can also click a picture of it through your phone and hide the image. Printing the private key is the thing which everybody does and you can go for that too. You can also email it to yourself but consider the risks of getting your email account hacked. Storing it offline would be my best suggestion.

the operating system sees the key with you, how to record the key without seeing it yourself?

actually to answer that question of yours, there are many ways to hide your private keys or seed to your specific wallet. You can come up with different ideas on hiding your keys cause i think you have many experience in bitcoin. if you're scared too much and dont want to be hacked by hackers then you should come up saving your money to banks.

I would recommend using more than 2 usb flash drives as they are known to fail. You might also consider getting a dedicated hardware wallet if you have a significant amount of BTC, although with current prices "significant" could be as little as 1 BTC.

Also be sure to protect your wallet keys with a strong pass phase.

The best way to store the keys is to store them non-digitally. If you do really want to store them digitally though, probably use something encrypted like a password manager.
