Title: Wagering requirements on deposit without bonus, acceptable?
Post by: eternalgloom on November 03, 2017, 04:50:04 PM
I've read a few posts and topics recently that some crypto gambling websites have wagering requirements in place even if you haven't received any bonuses.

Fortune Jack for example had a x5 wagering requirement in place for all deposits, meaning you could only withdraw after you'd wagered your deposit 5 times.

They've changed this into x2 recently though:

Wagering requirements apply before any deposit made on Member Account can be withdrawn. The deposit amount must be turned over 2 times before your withdrawal request will be approved. Wagering requirements can be met by playing on slots, casino games and live games.

What do you think about this? Is it fair for casino's to put measures like these into place or not?

I guess it’s because some casinos used to match ypur 1st deposit as a free welcome give-away. People would just withdraw the welcome give-away so then they’d effectively be playing for free. I think it’s fair yes.

if I deposit my own coins and dont get any bonus it is not Fair to force a player to wager x2 or more. a player can do with his coins whatever he likes to do and wager whatever he he likes to wager

No, I've specifically mentioned that some casino's do this without offering a bonus, so a wagering requirement on your deposit alone.
Wagering requirements on bonuses are fine, I mean that's pretty normal.

I guess that's fair enough with a provision, such wagering requirement must be known to all users even before the user creates an account on their site. Anyway, why would someone deposit their money to a gambling site if they did not want to gamble? x2 wagering requirement looks okay for me.

I have to agree, it will unfair if it is a hidden terms but since the requirement is clearly stated on the terms then it means that the players agree and accept all the terms. Whe a user create an account, there is a checkbox about the agreement of the terms. Other case, it will be unfair if the term is added after user made deposit.
To be honest, I do not really like the term of wagering requirement on deposit without bonus as it is like a trap especially when I win nice just after deposit but I cant withdraw it because I do not wager 2x of my deposit yet.

It is totally unfair if a casino does not give any bonus on deposit and requires the user to wager the deposited amount 2x before he can withdraw. Such rules should only be implemented on casinos which offer deposit bonus, and the rule can prevent the users from withdrawing the amount back with the bonus even without wagering. There are a lot of gambling sites in cryptocurrency which does not have any rule for wagering, and it is your own choice if you want to withdraw at anytime even if you don't wager anything. So the ones who does not want any bonus on their deposits nor any wagering requirements, they should go to those casinos without such rules.

I think they did this for some reasons, maybe there are some guys abuse this bonus , so i guess this is the solution they made to protect themself.

The gambling websites are meant for user to deposit their money risk that amount in exchange of reward by winning. its not a free money which gambling  websites are offering to the users . the users are risking their money and earning , if a gambling websites put such condition of wagering its not fair at all unless they are offering any kind of bonus to the users .

I have noticed quite  a similar situation  in a gambling website which i am using from quite a while (wont take the name of it ) that website is banning the users from their faucet and also if a user has not deposited from quite a while and he asks help from other user and make some money with that help that website simply declines the withdrawal.

I think this whole gambling websites are getting too agressive these days which is not good at all.

players would be stupid to accept this rule!

imagine you are going to a land casino and they are asking you to wager 2x the money you changed to chips. what a joke. you can do with your money what you like and change em back and go home without playing

This is not acceptable, that is the reason why i carefully read the sites terms before depositing. It is our rights to have full control on our deposited Money if we didnt claim any deposit bonus. We should be able to do instant depo and instant withdraw.
