Is there some way to make it so I do not have to click those 2fa pics every time i try to login at bitcointalk?
I hate that process, and will not come to the forum as much because every time I try to login,
there is those damn pics i have to click.
I would prefer to be able to just login without the clicking of pics first.
Thanks

i suggest you need to enable cookies in your browser and set the "minutes to stay login" to 999999 before you login in here in the forum, then dont logout or clearing your browsers history. in that way, you can save yourself from recaptcha trouble.

Oh, luxury problems.

Look, the captcha is a pain in the ass sometimes, but come on.  You really won't
come here as much because you're required to solve something that should take
about 8 seconds?  I think you're going a bit overboard with that complaint.  It
really shouldn't take anyone with at least two neurons that synapse together all
that long to complete it.  And as the guy above suggested, just hit that option
to stay logged in all the time.  If not, have a nice time browsing all those other
great bitcoin forums <that don't exist>.

I can't really see the pain by clicking those pictures before logging in. I think you are just being too lazy, and lazy persons don't deserve what bitcointalk can offer. It doesn't even last for a minute, so I think they have nothing to do with it because it is not a hindrance for the community.

Poor you. I'm betting this is only annoying for those with a gazzillion accounts they're farming. Jusy click the stay logged in button. I've probably only ever logged in a handful of times to this site  over the years I've been here.

the captcha images get hacked and I prefer if there was no clicking of those pictures prior to logging in.
I will also refrain from creating links to this forum if this forum continues to use those images like that.
Less links to this forum then.
If you have a better idea to stop bot to bombarding this forum maybe theymos will glad to hear your idea, i've never got problem when try to login in this forum just check keep login then you'll never have that problem again.

I seem to be logged in permanently. All I do is to visit the site, and I'm logged in, no captcha or fancy clicking required. That's on all 3 machines that I use, and in Firefox and Chrome.

Nobody cares about your backlinks so stop being a drama queen and click the stay logged in button. Would you prefer the forum is spammed even more by bots just because you find it slightly annoying that you have to click a few images?

Actually I am happy Bitcointalk forum added this. This is an improvement in order to avoid bots spamming in the forum. A lot of people now are just letting their computers do the work and it really sucks and unfair.

Maybe, if logging in with that clicking picture really hassles you that much, you can check the button of staying log in and you would not have the log in again in your browser unless you log it out. But this actually lessens your security because someone might be able to access your device and then be able to have free access to your account.

I read this earlier but didn't bother to reply since relevant points have been pointed out but... OP replied with that shitty comment. Come on OP, you just need to click that pictures with cars or signages like a kindergarten. How many can it take for you to do that? Is it too hard? Very time consuming? Obviously, not.

P.S. Try to search its function. Know what you're talking about.

I think you aren't right. Many people who have single account logging out of forum every time when they leave forum and then they have to solve captcha every time when they want to login again. That's not case for me, because I always stay logged in. But I experienced how hard and annoying Recaptcha can be and it can take few minutes (not seconds) to solve it. We have to solve Recaptcha on many other bitcoin related services - exchanges, faucets, and all otger types of projects. After multiple attempts to solve Recaptcha in short times, often it becomes very difficult and it's problem not only for account farmers.

But as theymos said, other captchas can be easily bypassed, sowe have to struggle with annoying Recaptcha :/

I have to say that these captchas don't work too well on spotty mobile connections - think commuting in an underground subway where there is only internet connectivity at station stops but nothing in between. Needless to say, the other day it took me 7 station stops (25 minutes) to login on my phone because the train did not stop long enough at each station for me to finish the captchas. And somehow I had to start over each time the connection was broken.
