what you want to buy altcoin if the btc price is so high

All altcoins are traded in pair with BTC. So if you want to be in the crypt you will have to start to buy BTC.

Yes, Bitcoin costs much today, but it will grow further. Those, who invest into it even now, will get profit. Meanwhile, it is wise to buy Altcoins. Last week they were decreasing, and today I see ETH is over $300 again.

I am glad that I did not sell my alts. I’d better keep them.

Anytime eth below 300$ it's free money. So much room for growth once bitcoin dies down a little

because the price of bitcoin is getting higher and incoming fork the all the altcoin now is really cheap you just need to look what you gonna support some say altcoin price will rise during the fork or after for but who know its only depend if bitcoin price will fall
for me i just buy some ETH even the price in bitcoin drop i still have other way to use it like participating in ico

I want to buy altcoins because they are cheap today. Of course everyone wants to get cheap coins and just hold on it till the price pump and then it dump for easy profits. That's the basic strategy of every trader so I think you should know it already. You just have to wait when the altcoins will be dump and be sure that you are in time so that you can go and dump and not be left out and get trap.

altcoins are the worst investment that you can make nowadays, just look at the charts, they all are in a downside, there is no way to take profit from them because it looks like if they are never going to recover from that dump, so the best thing to invest in is bitcoin, because it is rising a lot because of the previous/incoming forks, there is going to be the segwitx2 fork in a few days, it is still a good moment to re-stock your portfolio of some bitcoins instead of unknown altcoins.

I'm using this strategy, hodling Bitcoin and some ETH.

Bitcoin - I just want to hold, while the price keep rising and waiting the fork to earn more money

ETH - I use my ETH to contribute in some projects for long-term investment, I dont think I will lose my money because the price in USD is stable eventhough Bitcoin keeps moving up! I dont want to be late to support new technology.  ;D ;D ;D

If you wanted to invest in altcoin, you should be prepared. Make some research about differentcoins. Do a comparison analysis and know which altcoin offers something different than the others. Look at their whitepaper and roadmap. Investing in altcoins is not really an easy money. You should keep on mind that patient will be the key to be profitable in this business.

Same here. Waves and Ethereum are the two most reliable coins right now in the altcoin world. These two coins are backed up by projects that will surely continue thriving and surviving even if the majority of the altcoins will die. There are much lesser risks involved in investing Ethereum and Waves. But we have to also admit that the growth of these two coins is not the same as other altcoins that is characterized by big spikes.

I invested in ETH and I am happy with it. It is always the right time to buy Ethereum— more and more people trust it and deal with this cryptocurrency. You can have various alts and  make profitable exchanges following their rates.

Yes I usually buy altcoins when the bitcoins price is high because most of the altcoins are on sale around that time meaning the prices are low. And you could divide your losses the last time you bought the coin so your loss would also lessen. That's how I usually deal with my losses in trading and wiat for bitcoins price to skyrocket.

We did not discuss a month. BTC has reached 12k usd. Has anyone made a profit from it?
