Bitcoin already reached more than 7200. When to wait for correction and it will be how strong?
Everyone understand that correction surely will be. Guys, your forecasts: when and how there is a lot of?

Bitcoin price is staying at 7200. There must be a resistance there. If the price drops lets prepare for a correction then buy again before segwit 2x

i guess the correction will happen after next fork but won't be that much as we saw with the last fork.
My crystal ball is not working so i can't give an insight of it now..

My most courageous prediction - the price will fall up to $5000 on November 18 this year before segwit2x. When whales begin to lock in profits

Corrections can happen anytime as customary with Bitcoin after experiencing some surge in price...in effect this is a mechanism to prevent the occurrence of a big bubble that can pop. As to when can the correlation be, that all depends on the market actually. Bitcoin is fond of making many surprises that is why we just have to watch out for them to happen anytime. However, am personally hoping that Bitcoin would resist corrections and would stabilized at $7,200 before we would have another scheduled fork.

correction ? right now we are seeing it,
if you're asking about big downward movement i believe we should see it after the news about segwit2x.
for now i think we will see the price moving downward for a little and then crazy move like a few days before in one night.
at least a few days before the segwit2x we will not see any significant move or big dump.
after that we may be can see it because some people do not like it and it's like a storm for Bitcoin itself.
about how much it will be ?
it's understand able if we will see it around $4000 more or less,
because we're starting our pump in that price until right now.
hold it tightly or lose it,that is the best words to describe this moment.

I think btc will not stop at $ 7200, I guess it will increase strongly in the future. It will hit $ 8000 soon, believe me, it will come quickly

It looks like %7 correction is happening right now and price is stable.
Whales won't sell till fork which means we'll see rally continue in next week.

Its under $7200 at teh moment and seems to be bouncing between $7000 and $7200.

At some point people will take profits and try to get in at a lower price. Though the free coin brigade might try to hold on. I notice all the alts are in gree today, so I'm guessing people took profits at $7400 yesterday and are now pumping alts.

Corrections are often preceded by stopping of any big price movements for some period of time, so if the price won't try to break past $7,300 the risk of correction will be higher. But since it's a purely speculative price drop, it will be very short-lived and relatively small - around $6,500 or $6,000 in worst case scenario. There are also tiny "corrections" happening all the time when the price drops by a few hundreds for a couple of minutes or hours.

I suspect bitcoin will rally more before segwit2x and then the correction will occur but I'm not expecting a correction to levels such as 4/5k, I think 6k at a minimum.

well it is always hard to predict bitcoin so we can never know. and that is always true.

in case of the current price, if it weren't for the recent news i would have said this is a bubble and price would drop back to $4k levels. but with the recent news about CME and bitcoin, there have been a lot of new people coming in and a lot of fresh money coming in bitcoin. that means this rise is genuine and not going to go down that easily because there is a lot of demand.

but as i said, this is bitcoin and we may never know.

Yes, market correction is inevitable but there is no standard time for it. If you want to buy bitcoin you should better buy it now before the price gets more higher. In fact, most of the market corrections that we normally see in the past they were not going above 25% drop -  they price usually drops between 10% - 15%... By the way, after the CME announced the launch of bitcoin trading by the end of the year, i don't see bitcoin coming down anytime soon.  

I just think there will be no correction for sure until the hardfork will have done. And why because so many people are waiting to claim their own bitcoin gold for free. That will keep the price of the bitcoin above $7000.
About when and you can try to watch the market after hardfork. I may that will be happening at that time.  

Hard fork will be done this November, most probably. And no, people are not waiting to claim their Bitcoin Gold. This fork is about the Segwit2X coin. And it has the potential to cause much bigger damage to the bitcoin ecosystem.

I'd say within weeks; value of BTC has shot up roughly $1500 in the last week and such an extreme surge most likely cannot be sustained for long. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if prices shot past $10K very soon as all brakes are apparently loose.


Yeah, there might be light at the end of the tunnel for the alts. If I remember correctly a number of alts got pumped bigtime after the BTC-peak in november/december 2013.

no, correction is not going to happen. sorry! bitcoin will still grow reaching 10000$ by the end of the year and no one cant stop it not even the hardfork. thats why im still buying bitcoins in a small portion because i believe on my own predictions, this year is not the same as 2013 or whatever events you might think of. past is past, past dont the hold the fututre, we are on the future and bitcoins is the future of currencies.

Some time in the next week. What I think will happen is that some whales will cash out at the top, and then invest in some alts, and pump them up to get more bitcoin.

Some advice: don't short the market at the moment because the bull is strong and you will get crushed. Wait for natural longs to close and natural sells from those who have reached their target price.  

I guess correction will come after segwit2x fork that people will price "the centralization"

I don’t know how this corrections work or how it is a bad thing for some. If I will be the one to asked this, is it correction means bitcoin decreases? because all I know is if it happen this is a sold out that going on everytime after the fork, as holders sold they’re bitcoin after receiving free coins. Why wait and be negative about it when we can just chill and relax without too much trouble in our mind. Does the market are wrong in all aspects that it is need to be corrected.

Sorry for my ignorance of this matter and I don’t really care much about this idea.
