After downloading, tried opening and message 'FATAL ERROR' appeared. Error loading Python DLL 'C:\users\ASPIRE1\AppData\local\Temp\_MEl89402\python35.dll. LoadLibrary: Invalid access to memory location. This is probably an easy fix but I've tried reinstalling and other means but unable to get it running. Is this a common occurrence or have I downloaded from a dodgy site (electrum.org)? Any help would be really appreciated. No. This is happening to almost everyone trying to load electrum on Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. If you really need electrum3 then use a live OS or dual boot. Else, redownload/locate your old version of electrum 2.9.3 and use that until the bug is fixed (as I'm doing). It may be a solution for this issue, but I can't test it because I can't replicate the error. Can you try installing "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015" and running Electrum 3.0 again? It may be a solution for this issue, but I can't test it because I can't replicate the error. If it did, then we'll just have to wait for the next version of electrum. Nice. Warning to others: Definitely time to buy a hardware wallet.

i have win wista... 1 - uninstall electron 2 - go here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads download and install - 32 or 64 bit 3 - restart 4 - re-install electron worked for me, hope that helps |
