Terrahash has announced pre-ordering availability to those folks that have signed up for an account prior to their announcement.

As can be seen in the image below, I will be one of the lucky ones to pre-order on Tuesday June 18th at 9:00AM PST.

I am planning on purchasing a hosted 18GH/s unit for myself and was wondering if there is any interest in folks that want to get on board with the early pre-order.

Who I am:
I am a 15 year web development veteran specializing in C# MVC with JQuery Mobile working in beautiful south Florida with my wife and twins. I am very passionate about bitcoin and what it could mean for the entire human race.

Shares:

• Each miner will be split into 200 shares for 0.50 BTC each giving hobbyist and new to bitcoin enthusiasts an easy entry into the market, as well as pooling our resources into owning alott of hardware for cheap

Group Buy Terms:

• Payment will be made in BTC only
• All Units will be hosted at TerraHash's hosting facilities
• Expected delivery according to terrahash is late july
• The period of ownership of each share will last 24 months from the date of purchase of each miner at which time the hardware will become the sole ownership of CCIH, Inc. (a company that I own for web based properties)

• Chips Per Board: 64
• Boards Per Unit: 10
• Hashing Power: 180 GH/s

Non Delivery:
If terrahash does not deliver in a timely manner all actions will be taken to recover our funds, I cannot however guarantee anything and therefore will not be held responsible for anything outside of my control including but not limited to non-delivery, short delivery, etc from TerraHash, Inc.

Timeline:
This group buy will end at 8PM EST on Monday The 17th of June
This deadline is due to the fact that terrahash will be opening up the pre-sales window at 9AM PST on the following Tuesday.

Here are my initial calculations:

The group buy would purchase 1 or more DX Large units with 10 Modules running at 180 GH/s priced at 84.99 BTC as proposed on terrahashes website http://terrahash.com/product/terrahash-dx-large/

Each mining rig would be split into 180 shares at 0.50 BTC each representing 1.11 GH/s

20 Shares would retained by the group owner for compensation.

Running costs on a monthly basis are:

$50.00 / Month / Rig as outlined on http://terrahash.com/hosting/

$100.00 / Month for electricity, this is currently a guesstimate as terrahash does not yet reveal these numbers except for that each board requires 128Watt PSU. Please send corrections if anybody has a good idea about this.

Thanks a lot.  ;D But I think I would rather wait the 24 extra hours than to trust not only TH but you also. Especially when you are obviously trying to take advantage of Gold Fever suffering people. And usurping the reward  TH is giving to those that signed up for an account early.       

Show me where you can buy 1gh/s of hashing power for 0.50 btc?

I'm not saying it can't work. 180 GHZ for 85 Bitcoins.

85/.5 =  170 shares

180/170 = 1.059 MHZ

But that's if you do what you say you will without a legal contract.

Fair enough, I might not trust some guy on the internet either, but everybody has to start somewhere. Yes this is my first group buy, Yes I have zero trust, and Yes I am a capitalist looking to gain from my position.

If nobody goes for it then I will use my account for my own purposes and buy my own equipment with it, no harm no foul.

I just want more GH/s

Maybe whiny kids without BTC should worry more about their own business the arguing with people providing services they can't afford or do not want.

it is good now maybe, but when those device will be ready, 0.5 for 1ghs will become crap
