Is it possible to run electrum in W Server 2008 or 2012? I receive an error when trying to install: The application has failed to start because the side-by-side configuration is incorrect. From memory, it is likely an issue with missing Visual C++ runtime libraries...
Try installing the VC++ Redistributable packages for your OS... I'm not sure which ones you'll need, there are a couple (ie. 2005, 2008, 2010, 2015 etc etc)... have a look here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads |
