I deal through DEX which is decentralized exchange based on Wavesplatform (Waves is their currency #21 at coinmarketcap) No one sends funds first, we are both protected by the exchange, so scammers piss off. We both deposit funds to our own accounts, then I place an order with the amount and rate we agreed upon and you buy it. Exchange sends alts to my account and BTC to yours, everyone's happy.
