I think we will have a crash in the next days for some altcoins. Especially for Bitconnect, Ripple and NEO.

I have sold all my Ripple, Ethereum and Neo. Bitconnect I would never have bought this is a scam and a pyramid scheme.

Has somebody sold some bitconnect coins? Is this still possible? Or the bitconnect exchange accepts only buy  ;D

I think if bitconnect is falling, this will crash some altcoins!

 

Why would you say an ethereum crash is coming? Just because it has picked up so much? Thats not a very good way to determine a crash sorry. thats like saying bitcoin started at 0.8$ and not is 7200$ so its going to crash.

remember its all on peoples perception of a coin and people trade on emotions unfortunately!

What is your definition of crash? Will it go to zero or lose 50 or 70% of its value? The value of all the altcoins you have mentioned increased heavily within one year and if there will be a correction now that does not mean that they will crash! I also do not think that the well known altcoins will lose anything as they are stable the recent months.

Alts are already pretty low. There won't be some major crash. Also I invest in alts that won't be effected much by the market antic or bitcoin. I think you might be worrying a bit too much. Research good coins and you should be fine.

I bet it will just form a parabola or something.  As far as I've researched about Ethereum won't just crash. Im dying to have those ETH than bitcoins.

The price was 1072$ at the same time. Why Ethereum was not started in 2009!  ;D  But I speak about the last months and not form 2009 to 2014, because there we had not Ethereum.

Bitconnect is falling, now. 2 billions dollar lost. This can crash the altcoins!

Well, with bitconnect everything is clear its a scam, but I did not understand  for what sold Ripple,Neo and Ethereum???

As it has already been stated, bitconnect is a pyramid scheme, same as ETHconnect. Ripple has shown great stability, and Ethereum is gaining more attention and traction daily.

Honestly I disagree (except for Bitconnect which everybody that does a little due diligence knows is similar to a ponzi scheme and could fall apart).

Actually I think the good altcoins will rally after the upcoming BTC fork.  

i think our friend here meant by crash is that this altcoin i mean their value will decrease these days due to its being increasing yet my friend this is not a factor that control the chart movement of bitcoin and altcoins.

With the rising value of bitcoin that we are witnessing currently the crash was imminent. As most of the OG's have been predicting bitcoin to reach 8 or even 9k, yes I agree that the worst is yet to come for alts.

i wish that one of these following altcoins: Dovu, Electroneum wiil do the same as Neo did or ripple that will definitely makes a lot richer.

Altcoin crashed, meaning to buy more. This is the best time to fill your pocket with potential altcoins. Bitconnect? Nope, i don't like that coins from the first time i saw.

You may actually regret that you sold ether later on this year. I predict after the folk we are going to see more price increase in Bitcoin and top altcoin will follow suit. Generally there will be bull run before the end of the year!

I don't think this is a crash. This is the result of the people pumping bitcoin because of the upcoming fork. Wait after the fork when the bitcoin's price stabilizes and see how the price of the alts will again go up. It is too early to make a prediction like this. Bitcoin forks really creates a big effect on the price of the bitcoin but the alts will also go up after the fork. It already happened in the bitcoin fork last august.

With this analysis, its obvious the side you are coming from and the subject of attack here is no one other than bitconnect in which the reason for that is quite understandable which is even a further warning to those who is believing in this pyramid scheme of a thing. On the others, I think the percentage change has equally not been favorable to bitcoin which the news is always about it being a bubble despite the fact that it has the second lowest percentage increase in all the coins analysed up there.

Not sure that selling Etherium and Ripple at current rates is a wise decision. I would not touch these, both are hold for me. ETH will rise in a few weeks and will be followed with all other erc20 based alt coins imo. Also as more banks implement the ripple blockchain, its value will definitely rise with time.

This is also the best time to buy alts because of the low price. I guarantee you, it will go up and you can get the best profit if you will try to invest on alts today.

Bitconnect is just a pure ponzi/MLM ponzi to be exact. Its value is nothing and it is all hyped up to current level, so crash is obvious within next year or by end of this year.

Ethereum might not crash although, when bitcoin fork hype will be over ETH will be one of the coin that will be pumped hard. I think even $1k is possible by starting few months of next year.

What in the world are you going on about op? The altcoin market is currently bearish from quite sometime and you actually think that they will crash inspite of this. No freaking way. Majority of the coins that you fear will crash are potential long time winners. So many people are complaining about bitconnect, but just look at its value right now. The people who purchased bitconnect during the ico stage must have thousands or millions of dollars currently. I don't think the altcoin market will crash anytime soon.

 

What is interesting is you are apparently calling for a crash in ICO issued tokens. The proof-of-work coins are all holds. ETH was initially ICO issued and ETH is the base token for ERC-20 ICOs.

So ICO issued tokens are way over hyped? And have risen by too high of a percentage thus not sustainable? Proliferation of too many ICOs? A move back to quality and scarcity?

There are more than 1,200 altcoins listed in coinmarketcap and the number continues to rise every day. It is obvious that the market is not interested in so many repetitive and meaningless currencies, which is why it is perfectly understandable that hundreds of them are being gradually forgotten, especially in these moments when the market seems to be looking for a safe haven in the traditional cryptos.

Nothing to be alarmed about, in my personal opinion.

First scam was falling. Next will be IOTA and NEO.

I think bitcoin for now has found a nice place to settle down and should bounce from here. At max it might drop as low as 8000 and that should be it. Hence I do not think that alts would drop any more further.

The way out of this is really simple, really. If you currently have altcoins right now, keep hodling (unless you have bitconnect, although getting rid of it right now wouldn't pay anything, since it has become practically worthless); if you have extra fiat money available, buy altcoins now that they are low.
