Title: Listing Bitcoin's Bullish Factors, read before investing in Alts
Post by: very_452001 on November 05, 2017, 07:54:54 PM
The list:

- Free air drops from S2X fork mid november
- CME Futures Wall Street before end of this year
- Lightning network
- Possible World War 3
- Possible another Financial Crisis like 10 years ago.

Anything else is missing above?

Bitcoin FUD's will cause price of bitcoin to crash meaning Alts will crash as well. However honestly it seems all the worst FUD has already been thrown at bitcoin but bitcoin still remains strong so what possible future FUD's that can be more worse?

When only bitcoin price stabilizes then we will see Alts recover. With all these factors it will seem a very long time to wait for Alts recovery.

Agree or Disagree?

I think CME futures market is the best on your list, lighting network too will surely help and hopefully the transaction fee will come low, it is crazt now that even with the huge pump in price of Bitcoin some exchanges are still charging 100ksat

I don't think that Bitcoin crashing would necessarily imply that altcoins would crash as well. As long as there's some real world value in an altcoin it can thrive regardless of what Bitcoin is doing. And we'll be getting there sometime in the coming years.

The rest of your analysis is pretty accurate though. Would add "herd think" into the list, since more investors means more hype meaning more investors meaning more hype, until the asset is mainstream. Bitcoin doesn't have any "upper cap" on what it "should be" worth like stocks, so it can keep climbing until there's no more people left that can afford to join the party.

So as long as we gain more investors than we lose to FUD Bitcoin will keep climbing. And only a simultaneous onslaught of FUD campaigns by multiple governments could create that level of FUD at this point.
