Title: HELP: power a 1x to 16x riser Post by: bitmateco on June 17, 2013, 05:39:22 AM Hey! i have some 1x to 16x pci-e risers, they work fine but i seen in this forum that they might burn up if they are not powered.
i would buy some powered ones, actually i did. but i wont get them for a week and i was thinking maybe i can power my old risers myself i seen pictures and it looks quite easy. anyone has some instructions for doing this? thanks a bunch!
