Post by: kodiak1120 on November 06, 2017, 02:34:17 AM
I have two Bitcoin Bowl Coins that I'm looking to sell.  Images are here:

They're not graded, but they are in the original packaging and I've never taken them out or handled them.

I'm asking 0.4 BTC each.

New Price: 0.2 BTC each or 0.35 BTC for both.

I'll do escrow if buyer pays and we can agree on who to use.  Shipping will be calculated based upon the shipping location and paid by the buyer.  Continental US buyers only.

I've read here quite recently that the original cases causes the the rim to deteriorate as I am seeing here, so I would suggest pulling them from the original holders for just airtites asap. This is another likely reason noone is going to pay that much for these coins sorry! :P

I was just going to ask if there are any of these out there that been removed from their original stain-causing packaging and are non-tarnished.
I recently bought one for, IMO, a rather large premium at $600 and hadn't properly inspected it and noticed the flaws. I just got it back from ANACS with a disappointing PF64 with slightly less, although definitely noticeable, staining than the ones posted here.

Nonetheless, its a collectible I like and would offer 0.11 for the both of them.

PS: first time buyer here but have impeccable history on E-bay and off-forum. PM for references.

You can find them in good shape and w/out toning. Many which have been graded by ANACS.  I have a graded ANACS coin that doesn’t have a good grade but has zero toning or any other issues.

The toning should not really affect the "quality" of the coin....

I have had plenty of the Bowl coins pass through the archives and plenty of the toned ones have received and MS68 and/or PF68-DCAM  :D

I did not realize that!

Thanks for the responses.  I have already ordered new airtights so I can get them out of the stock holders.  Shout out to MinerJones for hooking me up!

Regarding the price, I realize some of you think it's too high.  I guess these don't go up for sale very often, so it really comes down to whether I want to get rid of them or keep them.  Thus, the price reflects my personal preference and may not be accurate of market value, although market value is tough to estimate due to the limited market.

On the recommendation of some members, I think I am going to send them off for grading.  Once I get them back, I may put them up for auction.  They are still for sale though.
