Did you believe if the ethereum classic will have got a big pump caused by its summit? but it doesn't make sense. how many times i were seeing about the people has said about the ethereum classic will go to the moon. But the result will always be zero.

I have some good amount of ETC bought when it was under $10 so already in good profit but I am also holding them till 13-14th NOV. Its just buy on the hype and sell on the news thing for me, Don't gonna hold this for long time. Will sell at peak price before actual ETCsummit will occur on hongkong.

Any news about ETC is upcomming? It's so quiet for a long time.

I had an amount when the price of etc was 7 dollars. Approximately 1000 pieces. Then I waited for a while. and the price went down to almost 3 bucks. I bought 500 more than 4 dollar levels.then when the price started to rise again, I sold it at the level of 8 dollars and after about 1 week it was worth 40 dollars. :)  I do not have very good feelings for my past etc. I do not know the level right now, but I would like to evaluate it if you are convinced that it is at a level that can be taken and that a value increase will take place in the near future.

ETC ATH was around 22$ . So i dont know what 40$ are you talking ?

a lot of altcoins are recovering these days just as it was expected. it is a common thing actually that whenever bitcoin price becomes more stable the altcoins start rising up again and as soon as bitcoin starts moving up or down these altcoins drop again.

and it seems like bitcoin will stay here for a while so your speculation is not that out of ordinary. although i am not so sure about the chart you shared.

I bought a couple of ETC at 20$ a while back hoping it would mirror ETH and rise, (although you can probably guess how that turned out) so I’d love to get a chance to sell it at a profit.

But back to the topic, any particular reason why you expect it to rise? I see the chart, but no external reason for the prediction on the chart to occure.

I strongly doubt that technical analysis works on altcoyins.
Now the entire market of alcoins will grow. So I do not see the validity of this forecast.

It is to early to buy ETC, if you have to exchange BTC. Forks are leading to dumping altcoins. First segwit2x (aftrr BCH and BT and in November a third fork will come and split to Bitcoin Silver.

Maybe the charts are speaking for theirselves, but honestly, dont you think that 24 dollars for every ethereum classic is a little bit far away from atm's price? it is insane to think that the price will reach that mark soon because it is not possible. A lot of people are only focused on just buying bitcoins, and they would not change their mind only to buy etc because you are saying that it will skyrocket soon.

Anyway, potentially good opportunity here. I guess of course it will really depend on what will be discussed during the summit. Will there be new changes, upgrades, improvements to ETC's blockchain protocol? Any good news of that sort in combination with the general low prices of altcoin because today should be a good sign to buy.

i am looking at the charts, and i am not an expert at all in this thing but, it feels like the critical line is 15 $ line and etc forced it 2 or 3 times in two days and failed. and it is losing value more everytime it fails. at first this prediction seemed pretty legit to me but now i become suspicious. tell me everything will be ok :-\

it  was at $ 9-10 a week ago. it has increased by almost $ 4-5  . what do you think about buying? do you still have time to buy? prices still look good. I have good expectations from the ethereum's price in the future, and I wish that this speculations will be true. On the other hand, the characteristics of the coins' prices are still so volatile, and I think it is hard to make exact estimates about any of them.

ETC is already at 15.10 USD... It is still possible that ETC will go higher.

ETC is similar like BCH so you should not have big view about it. Instead of that you can concentrate on litecoin which is being stable and grows in the market place. So you can concentrate on bitcoin since the value the grows in the rocket speed.
There are some other altcoins still moving faster compare with the ethereum. So you can choose Neo, tenx, LTC, bitconnect and waves.

C'mn, it's a talk about ETC, move on. Litecoin is a badcoin like ETC, just a speculative coin.

There is ETCSummit soon, with 2 good news, there is no S2X fork for BTC so no need to keep a high % of BTC because there is no more freemoney coming, so people will go on alts, and ETH is in trouble cause of Parity Bug.

I have a feeling there is a good chance that ETC will boost when ETH gets harder to mine, although it will be a bit before that happens. Although I'm hoping for it to rise a bit before then that a way I can sell of the bit of a bag that I've got.

ETC has nothing significant to offer, you might make a quick buck, but eventually the price will adjust to what the project is really offering, and that's not a lot. ETC is just a copy of ETH just like BTC Cash is to BTC. Copies will always stay copies and will never be able to immiate the original. They think they're doing things better but they are just making the original currency stonger. In a couple of years we'll have some many forked version that people will understand that it only makes sense to keep the original.

Actually, ETH is the copy, born with the DAO fork.

A pump and dump technical alternative to the mainstream token like BCH and LTC are for BTC, but still, i made a lot of money with ETC the last 6 months, and i will do it again in the next 3 days, because of the good news form the summit.

The Ethereum platform has been forked into two versions: "Ethereum Classic" (ETC) and "Ethereum" (ETH). Prior to the fork, the token had been called Ethereum, and after the fork, the two tokens were called Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum Classic (ETC).

ETC or Ethereum classic was created when ETH forked to undo a major hack. The real only difference is that ETH will become POS at some point while ETC will remain POW. You can acquire it via exchange just like any other coin or you could try mining it.

I think you are a little late for this pump... Look at the date of creation... And now it is a good time to buy altcoins as BTC is going to fall more.

ETC doesn't provide a technology for smart contracts and projects like ethereum does, but in the market, ETC is still valuable. I really regret for not buying ETC for $2 each in the early 2017.

It's gonna grow hardly in the future.

A little correction and for the information of everybody, Ethereum Classic is actually offering smart contracts, the same with Ethereum. The language being used for Ethereum Classic's smart contracts is called Solidity. Ethereum Classic is basically the similar with Ethereum in so many ways. ETC is also offering decentralized applications like Ethereum. I think this coin is really undervalued and underrated. I hope it flies high really soon.

In my opinion there is no real use case for ETC. It is only a trading vehicle.

ETH rather Vitalik has all the devs on board which code dApps and create own tokens. No real competition to ETH imho.

The price of Eth is not that high or keep on increasing regularly. Based on which I too agree with the statement of the Op. Surely in the coming days it'll be growing further to reach big and benefit the users who have invested into bitcoin. I too have the same thinking of filling the bags.

There are some phases for ethereum price. It's somehow stable. It doesn't increase and decrese always. The idea here is to watch the market very well and act when needed. You can convert it to bitcoin or you can convert bitcoin to ethereum when needed.

ETH - the only altcoin, which really interested me. It has good prospects for development, and in the future he has every chance to become a good competitor for bitcoin. I am sure that in the near future the demand for it will grow and the price will rise on 15% by the end of December.

It seems to me that ETC is now undervalued. IT came to $ 21. But this is only the beginning. I think it needs to move 10% of the price of ethereum right now it's around 45 bucks. Ethereum takes all the attention to himself. CASPER burning POS coins what he was talking about Vitalik Buterin.
Now growth ETC based on what is now the crypt already investors come with capital and they don't buy that anyhow they take projects from the top 20. I think a spring goal will be $ 50 for ETC. In any case, keep in long and will not sell for another year

ETC is great, compared to ETH it seems quite undervalued at the moment. It will reach the 1:10 ratio to ETH probably.

Would OP also be advising users to buy ETHD?
I saw this token pumped before but now is going down. If this token will be worked for its complete roadmap, is there a possibility that it will also be more than what its price just as how ETC did?

Etc currently keep on rising so it can be a good idea to store some Etc, and seems like now still the bullish trend for etc, but etc is a slow moving coin so maybe you need to wait for a long time to get the profit

Yes, I think by my predictions Lisk grow x2 in 1.5 month but 3-7 days maybe 30-40% rise in both :)

wow that forecast though. I've read your post about a couple of days ago and bashed you. Even though the price went up, fact is that ETC is still worth absolutely nothing. The network is just a copy of Ethereum and it doesn't offer any significant benefits over Ethereum for developers to even consider building on it. There are no projects running on ETC and there is zero adoption from anyone. Who's using the network besides sending money to exchanges? Yes your technical analysis is accurate and the post was great, to make a short term gain, but besides that I would like to know why people believe ETC is worth anything. Yes they are loyal to the code but this has proved that it doesn't matter, no one cares. Everyone just moved along and ETC stayed in it's "we're loyal" bubble.

There is a big pump and huge trading volume for ETC at poloniex. But I prefer to hold my ETH as ETH is also being pumped high and more potential.

Six failed attempts to dump the price since today, support at 30$ is solid, I regret that I sold yesterday and didn't go long.
The CCI indicates upwards trend ,at least for the first pump.
So my guess is there will be a retracement at 32$-28$, then first breakthrough at 38$ in 2-4 hours, then another retracement, before breaking 40$.
I'm all in  and going long on this one. :D

I mised ETC opportunity. I didn'y buy them with cheap prices. I want to catch this Ethereum classic bull market, but I'm afraid of bitcoin to lose value and stat a big market crash in near future.

Ethereum classic has been in my list of best digital currencies since the beginning and I strongly believe that this coin can really return good amount of profits. It is just a matter of time. Don't expect it to rise 100% because it will undergo some price dumps so that it can keep growing. This is the rule of the trading markets. One thing can't rise up all the time. It undergoes dumps and correction. Wait for ETC's supremacy next year.

I really use to have really stong belief on ETH. I was expecting ETH at $900 by end of 2017 at starting the year. But ETH performance in last 3 months was disappointing. ETH is trading between price level of $300 to $475 in this period of time.
ETH is really a strong coin which have huge potential and can give a tough competition to BTC in future.

Yes eth will be more huge its value by next year. Buying today its not too late and investing in eth will be more profitable than etc. I prefer eth than etc because eth is most use by many.
