Hi Forum, wish everyone well.

I'm entry level person in bitcoin society. I want to invest 2.5k USD in bitcoin indirectly

1.25k to Genesis-mining
1.25k to bitconnect

I watched a lot of videos and tutorials related blockchain, lend to people and etc.

Would like to ask respectful forum, what do you think about my investment? Is is extremely risky?(I'm aware it's ponzi)
What the worst can happen?
Could you offer alternatives?

They are both legit though but i think bitconnect is more profitable now.. than genesis.. but in terms.of trusted cloud mining the goes for long term investment you can choose genesis trusted since 2013..goodluck:)

I don't know much about bitconnect, but I know about genesis mining. Its a legit site but I wont advice you to invest in that site. Because it will take you a long time for you to reach the roi .I am telling this from my experience. Its profitable only for people who have got a large number of referrals . It will be more profitable if you buy and keep bitcoins for that amount in your wallet because bitcoin's price is increasing day by day.

I never heard about bitconnect either, but i have purchased a few x11 contacts from genesis mining in the past. These contracts are still active as i have another year ahead (it was 2 years contract), but they can barely bring some coins. I don't even check them out anymore. I knew that it was not profitable and most people never make ROI but i just wanted to try it myself anyway. I don't recommend anyone but people keep buying anyway. I would rather buy a GPU card and try mining at home. This is surely better experience. 

Think more before you invest in cloud mining, yes you read more comments about that two site which has good feedback because some of them are wanting to have referrals and that is one of the best way to make fast ROI, but if you compute the amount of your investment and the time frame offer of those cloud mining site you will see that it will take long period of time to get the ROI.

Genesis mining => Registered and they also have mining farm with real mining devices but the real problem is that you will never own any mining hardware.  If they will change terms or they will get bankrupt at some point, you will not get back what you have invested there or any of mining device purchased with your money.

Bitconnect => It is nothing more than over hyped pure networking ponzi. It can collapse at any point...

Both are a good deal of investment but Bitconnect is more profitable one. They call Bitconnect a ponzi which it is but I have done my research on it.
It will stand still for at least 2 - 3 years or more if Bitcoin keeps growing the way it is. I woud consider Bitconnect to be a better option as you can withdraw your returns any time you want. Just make sure you do your homework well before investing and consider all the risks involved in it.
Risking is the only way to achieve big and lose at the same time.

You should better invest your money in bitcoin, bitcoin cash and/or litecoin instead of getting in a proven ponzi scheme like bitconnect.
Genesis on the other hand it is legit but you could buy yourself your own miner and make more money.

What amazes me the more with ponzi schemes, is that you all know it's one, but you wanna profit from it knowing that eventually the last ones entering will lose all their money.
To all those Youtubers spamming with ads for Bitconnect just for their viewers to sponsor them, ask yourselves if you won't be legally seen as being active members of an illegal thing.
