In the upcoming event horizon that will throw the market into chaos what will you be investing in?

Ethereum,Litecoin,Waves,Stratis- I hope for them!

I will be investing in the same projects I have been investing in since before the fork.

The staples of the ALT world --
ETH
WAVES
OMG
NEO
LTC

And the same "long-shot" projects I have been following for some time --

Don't let a momentary market adjustment change your investment strategy entirely. If you're looking for short term flips, you might need to do some quick scrambling. But, if you are investing in projects long term, your strategy shouldn't change (much).

If you want to invest to the altcoin after fork its better if you invest that in ethereum, waves coin, monero, dash, litecoin , qtum, taas , komodo,  but It's up to you want coin is your bet. But for sure they have many altcoins there good to invest once the fork is gone. I hope the price of other altcoin will increase after the fork so we can make more profit. More altcoins more profit.

My opinion . ETH , 0X , Zcash , Neo , Chainlink and raiden . These are my investments. At least until the end of the first quarter of 2018.

I guess i will invest all my BTC short before the fork. I belive through this way i can gain much more profit than holding BTC in my Wallets

i will invest/have invested in Sys, Stratis and Waves and hoping for big gains after the fork!

I will invest in whichever comes out weaker in the BTC fight 40% & hold the winner 40% & speculate on altcoins 20%.

I certainly won't put my money on ETH, which to me is a classic pump & dump these days.

ETH isnt a fast profit coin in my mind. its more like a value storage. in longterm 1000USD/ETH should be easy. bit it will take his time

I like eth and I will think about it when the fork ends. Riple is also a good choice if you are a small money

with the fork we'll see a lot of money going back into altcoins.. BTC had quite a good run and it was well deserved.. it went through a lot and it will be interesting to see how the post fork environment will develop. Personally I expect a lot of value creation in the altcoin section, we'll see at least twenty billion going into altcoins, mainly the popular ones, and see some potential coins of the top 100 appreciate in value as well (many investors already have found promising coins, but are holding on for the fork to complete). I'll follow along and put my money in altcoins as well, definitely ETH and maybe XRP as well - love both of these coins.

I will also be investing mine shortly before the fork, since once the fork happens, I imagine there is going to be a mad rush to the door of people trying to get into their favorite alt coins.

Further, many will have already done this a day or two prior, so the prices will be cheapest during the days preceding the fork. This is when I plan to invest in my favorite projects.

Waves

I will invest in ETH, Verge, Ark.

Etherum cause i still think that after it the price will pump up, cause some coins won't have enough force to do it but etherum with it price will be one of the best ones.

You should invest in NIMFA, this is potential token is going to be huge after its platform to be released.

I'll be investing before the fork when the markets are bleeding and the coins are on sale. This way after the fork, when the market goes up, I profit.

I'll keep putting in to the coins I feel will have most value like NEO, OMG, TRIG, QTUM.

Monero, ETH and LTC for long term. And Bitcoin Cash for short term trading.

Bitcoin if it drops in the 5000 range.

I just finished my alt shopping...some of them will hopefully be converted to BTC after the fork once they bounced back up.

I believe, anyone planning on shopping for alts after the fork need to review their strategy. 

If they are after the fork coin (S2X) it is a risk to unload right away since we don't know which will be the king.  I know BTC is king but...this time, there is that small chance that the fork may win.  Imagine the horror if you sold it cheap... :o and you are left with the "alt".

I only have 1 watchlist to buy after fork, it is CTR price is cheap now, i hope it can stay at cheap price until fork so i can buy more and hold

Agreed. Been buying XMR, ETH and some dreaded XRP before the fork. XMR is already working out nicely.

Post fork, will be looking at what BTC prices do. As well as the same old alts - XMR, ETH, XRP

litecoin and dash are 2 coin i will invest in it when the fork ends. I also have the option of low value coin such as sys, ripple .. also the coin that I am interested. There are a lot of coin that will add value to x2 that are low value coin like dgb, sc, rdd .. that's some thoughts i hope will be useful for you

It will be necessary to understand what chaos will be and in which direction, only then it will be possible to judge what is better and more profitable, and what will really become more valuable.

I will begin investing right before the fork, not after the fork. I think altcoins will jump some days before the fork will happen, because many altcoin investors don't want to miss the first gains.

I will personally spread 20% of my portfolio into NEO, LISK and ETN. Remaining part will still be in BTC hoping to catch some major correction in nearby future, so I'm aiming to annul that 15-20% back with that correction, which seems like a good idea to me.

Totally agree. XSPEC is unbelievably cheap at the moment relative to all other privacy coins.

Ethereum is the best altcoin to invest after fork, but most best to invest is bitcoin. Since bitcoin value are continues increasing I think this is good if we put a high value of investment and hold it for long run of time.
However ethereum is good to hold also for the future, because this altcoin seem recovering from their fall down of price. I think if we invest now in this crypto we were earn a lot of income.

I think buy more tokens on my positions: Nexus (2018 could be a good year), Iexec (with V2), XSPEC, XAS

You need to be done with your shopping before the fork. After the fork I will sell som alts and invest in BTC since I belive that we will se a change in the market. When everyone have got there free money they will sell and invest in the alts, so the prices will go up and btc will go down a bit. So do your christmas shopping early this year and hold until you reach your target for the alt and sell it to BTC or BCH. Good luck

I'll just wait and see the reaction of market. If general situation is bearish I would stay in cash money.
If altcoins start rising I would buy some major ones, like Ethereum, Waves, OmiseGO, Neo.

I am pretty sure i will buy more and more boscoin on the market or otc trading using right escrow. Also i am still looking for very cheap exscudo. Boscoin the only coin i trust will goes up. Not much hype because whale accumulate it silently and you will see this coin will be in top 10marketcap in december. Which is has more then $1billion marketcap.

Based on your post, I looked and at that (3.18 BTC 24HR) volume, I assure you, no whale is even paying it any attention (yet at least).  ;)

Maybe because of small exchange?  After getting some serious volume pump/dump traders will pay more attention to it. Whales dont buy coins blindly,my friend ;)

Finding a project that's legit and investing in it yields much higher profit than Bitcoin or the 'established' cryptos right now.

Keeping on BTC and ETH, as a definite choice for my longterm investment. Because both are very popular. So, I think if have to suffer losses later would be just little.

I agree with your list, especially ethereum. Many long-time and seasoned bitcoin users forecast that the value of the above-mentioned altcoins would soar as the value of bitcoins would drop. However, you should be investing in it right now while their prices are low instead of going for it after the fork when their prices would begin to increase.

Etheruem, litecoin, bitcoin, I think to divide in equal shares and wait for further events.

ETH looks like a solid buy and hold right now. It's been pushed down by BTC and the bug scandal but should bounce back due to the demand generated by ICOs using ETH contracts.
