Introduction:

We are now launching our bounty campaign for our ICO and giving away 2% of all issued to the bounty campaign participants.

If you believe in the success of our project you are welcome to join this bounty campaign. You can read more about our project at our <ANN> thread.

Reward Structure:

A portion (2%) of the GIN supply will be rewarded for participating in the following Bounty categories:

• Bitcointalk Signatures and Avatar: 25%
• Translation & Local thread manager: 14%
• Content creation: 15%
• Facebook: 10%
• Twitter: 10%
• Slack/ Telegram/ Kakao: 5%
• Medium: 3%
• OpenStreetMap: 4%
• Alpha Pinners: 2%
• Alpha Mappers: 2%
• Referral Program: 5%
• Leaderboards: 5%

To earn GIN, accumulate stakes until the end of the crowdsale. Stakes for each category will be added up and used to calculate the number of GIN you will receive.
For example, if:

• You have 1 stake in the Social Media bounty
• There are a total of 500 participants who have each earned 1 stake
• At the end of the crowdsale, there are 10000 GIN (as an example) allocated to Social Media bounty

Then you will earn 10000 * 1 / 500 = 20 GIN.

Bounty Registration Instructions

1. To participate in our bounty program, you need to sign up for an account at: https://bounty.geopin.network/
You can choose to sign up with your Gmail Account, Github Account, or with a different email domain address.

2. Set up your Account

In the Account Settings, you can set up your wallet by inputting your Ethereum public address. Geopin will be sending our GIN tokens to your Ethereum address after the ICO. If you don’t have an Ethereum address yet, you can click ‘Don’t Have A Wallet’ to read instructions about creating an Ethereum address through MyEtherWallet.
You will also be given an unique GeoPin User ID. This ID will be used to identify your participation in different bounty programs.  

3. Choose the bounty program you want to participate in:

On the left hand side of the bounty main page, you can see different bounty programs that you can participate in. Click on each bounty to read the detailed instructions and rewards then choose the one that suits you.

Bounty categories, tasks, and rewards

1. Bitcointalk Signatures and Avatar
25% of the bounty pool will be given to our Bitcointalk Signatures & avatar participants. Add our official signatures and avatar to your Bitcointalk profile to earn GIN. You can join the signature campaign by posting your unique ID code generated from Geopin bounty website to our Announcement thread, that way we are able to verify it is your Bitcointalk account.
You earn stakes for every post you make depending on your User Rank:

1. Jr Member: 0.5 Stake/ Post
2. Member: 1 Stake/ Post
3. Full Member: 1.5 Stakes/ Post
4. Sr. Member: 2 Stakes/ Post
5. Hero/Legendary Member: 3 Stakes/ Week

You can earn an additional 0.5 stakes per post by changing your avatar and setting your personal text to “Blockchain based interface to the physical world”.

Conditions:
No spamming (spamming will be punished). To make it simple, keep your post on topic. If you keep the signature till the end of the campaign, you receive additional 40 stakes. There is no minimum posts per week

2. Translation & Local thread manager
Help spread the word about Geopin to your community. 14% of the Bounty pool are reserved to our Translation & Local Thread participants. You can earn stakes by translating the Announcement post and posting it on Bitcointalk in the corresponding language category. You will receive 20 stakes for the announcement translation and 0.5 stakes for every post in the thread. You are required to post at least 3 moderation post in your local thread weekly.
For translating our website, you will receive 100 stakes. We are currently looking for Chinese, Korean, Russian website translation.
For translating our Whitepaper (you can find it on our website soon), you will receive 200 stakes.

To participate in the campaign, go to Geopin bounty dashboard (https://bounty.geopin.network/) and choose Translation category. In here, you can see all available languages and type of translation that you can participate in (Note: You can only participate in the one with the ‘available’ status). Select the language and type of translation you want to participate in and post the unique code corresponding to different language to our Announcement thread to be considered.  

3. Content creation
15% of the bounty pool will be given to Content creation bounty participants. Write a blog post about GeoPin on various channels such as Steemit, Reddit, Medium, or your own blog/ website. Please send us a link to your article/video on your GeoPin account's submission page in the corresponding category.

Rewards and Conditions:
Reward for content creation will be based in size of the post and popularity of the channel:

Size:
< 200 words: 10 stakes
< 500 words: 20 stakes
> 500 words: 30 stakes

Popularity:
< 500 visitors/ month: 5 stakes
< 3000 visitors/ month: 10 stakes
> 3000 visitors/ month: we will decide on a case by case basis

Conditions:
Do not spam!
Each blog post must contain at least 1 link to https://geopin.network
Blog posts must have unique content (translations do not count)
Blog posts can be in any language
Posts on social media platforms may be rated lower, depending on your follower count.

For Youtube & Big Media:
You can also submit a video talking about us to Youtube (Youtube video will be reviewed and give reward individually based on the quality of the content and the size of your channel) . Topics should be related to GeoPin crowdsale or discussion of the technology, business model.

Please contact Geopin team at team@geopin.network if you believe you can help us to get published on the website of a big media outlet.  We will rate every article separately and will decide on the amount of stakes earned ( You can earn up to 500 stakes or more ) depending on the reach of the media outlet. Please send us your article and the name of the media outlet to team@geopin.network and we will be happy to discuss the matter with you.
 
If you have a highly frequented blog or a Youtube account with many subscribers you can opt for this option.

4. Facebook
10% of the Bounty Token will be given to Facebook bounty participants. You can participate by connecting your Facebook account with your GeoPin account, after this is done, you can earn stakes by:

Following:
Follow our official GeoPin Facebook page and earn 15 stakes, and for every post from us you like you earn 2 additional stakes.

Repost:
Repost news marked with #GeoPinNews or #GeoPin from our official page and don’t delete them until the ICO ends. You are only allowed to repost entries marked with #GeoPin every 4 days. For every 10 followers you have, a repost will earn you 0.1 stakes. The number of followers is capped at 10,000 (ten thousands), meaning that the maximum amount of stakes receivable from a repost is 100.

Please note that your account must be at least 4 months old.

5. Twitter
10 % of the Bounty pool will be given to Twitter bounty participants. You can participate by connecting your Twitter account with your GeoPin account, after this is done, you can earn stakes by:

Following:
Follow our official Twitter channel and earn 15 stakes, and for every tweet you like you earn 2 additional stakes.

Retweeting:
Retweet news marked with #GeoPinNews or #GeoPin from our official account and don’t delete them until the ICO ends. You are only allowed to retweet posts marked with #GeoPin every 4 days. For every 10 followers you have, a retweet will earn you 0.1 stakes. The number of followers is capped at 10,000 (ten thousands), meaning that the maximum amount of stakes receivable from a retweet is 100.

6. Slack/ Telegram/ Kakao
5% of the Bounty Token will be given to Slack, Telegram and Kakao Bounty participants.  To participate in this bounty, join the channel of your choice and send your Unique ID code from Geopin bounty dashboard to @Phuong_Geopin.
Rewards:
10 stakes will be awarded for joining each of our community forums above.

7. Medium
3% of the Bounty Token will be given to Medium Bounty participants. You can participate by connecting your Medium account with your GeoPin account, after this is done, you can earn stakes by:
Following: Follow our official Medium channel and earn 15 stakes
Recommending a post ( clapping): for every post that you recommend, you will earn additional 2 stakes.  
Commenting on a post: for every comment that you post, you will earn additional 3 stakes. Comment has to be insightful to be counted as stakes.
Please note that your account must be at least 4 months old.

8.OpenStreetMap
4% of the Bounty Token will be given to OpenStreetMap bounty participants. As our platform is closely tied with OpenStreetMap, we decide to reward participants of OSM for your previous contribution and hope that you will also become the quintessential part of GeoPin. Simply sign up for a Geopin account using your OpenStreetMap account in order to earn 15 stakes in this bounty.  

In order to be eligible for our bounty reward, your OpenStreetMap account should be at least 6 months old and you must have made at least 5 edits.

9. Alpha Pinners
Geopin Alpha Pinners bounty contest is created in order to find the most innovative and inspiring ideas for Geopin to create the first PinChannel for our platform. 2% of the Bounty pool are reserved for this category. You can join a campaign by submitting a few sentences explaining your PinChannel idea and why you are interested in it on your GeoPin account's submission page in the corresponding category.

Reward:
- Everyone participates in the contest will be given 3 stakes of this bounty pool.
- Each of the top 5 ideas that are chosen by the community and Geopin team will be given 20 stakes of this bounty pool
- The best idea will be given additional 100 stakes of this bounty pool

This contest will be run in three weeks and there will be a one week period for the community to vote on the best idea ( ideas will be sent to all GeoPin bounty participants). Geopin will announce the winners after the voting period.

10. Alpha Mappers
2% of the bounty pool will be given to Alpha Mappers bounty participants. To participate in this bounty, Sign up to our Alpha Map Editor from your GeoPin account. For every edit you make in the Editor, you will received additional 10 stakes from this bounty pool.

11. Referral Program
5% of the Bounty Token are reserved for this category. On the referral dashboard, you will be given an unique referral link. You will earn 2 stakes for any bounty participant registers a Geopin account using your referral link.

We take spamming very seriously for referral programs. We will monitor referred accounts and if they don’t participate in any bounty, it will be marked as spammed

12. Leaderboards
5% of the Bounty Token are reserved for this category.
After combining the stakes of every category together, the total number of stakes you have received will be compared to other bounty participants. Among the top 10 stake holders 6 % of the bounty campaign volume will be distributed. The top stake holder receives 50 % of the stakes from this category. The stakes will be distributed as follows:

1st: 50%
2nd: 20%
3rd: 10%
4th: 6%
5th: 4%
6th: 3%
7th: 2.5%
8th: 2%
9th: 1.5%
10th: 1%

Notes
The list of participants is being updated and analysed everyday. After our Crowd Sale is finished, the whole GIN bounty pool will be distributed among all campaign members considering the number of stakes each member has.

Very cool that you added referral program. I cannot participate in the BCT bounty because priorities, so I hope I can help get some activity going via the link.
Most announcements lately have been some ethereum tokens with a very thin roadmap, if any, and some new coins that at best have some own twist on bitcoin. Some bother to change algorithm and change name of the coin, but thats about it.
A new idea like this should surely be come popular.

Thank you for your continued support for Geopin over the last month. We have received a lot of useful feedback from the community on how to improve the project. 

At this point, we have decided to take a step back and revise the concept within the team in order to make it have more compelling values and align with what we want to bring to the community. This possibly means we might change the project branding (name, logo, etc) to better fit with our value propositions.
