Yes, of corse. People bought bitcoin to get bitcoin gold for sell, now its price gone down but all time we can earn on it. I think in future its price can grow up.

We will see how it all goes, but for now the coin is not even released yet. The BTC chain snapshot has been taken, but devs still working on the code.

Do not think BTC Gold has much backing or a great dev team so do not expect much from it in
future.

They put up a bounty for creating replay protection.. so no not a great dev team. I think BTG is the laughingstock of all forks currently..

I think bitcoin gold will end up being a near worthless coin, it has little support from the market and seems to only be headed downward. I wouldn't be buying it even at current prices.

No, it was an useless coin, it did not bring anything to the whole community, it is full of issues and their devs are not even thinking about solving them because they are greedy as fuck, the coin is under one hundred dollars and it seems that it is not going to go up for a while, so yes, try to invest in another coin instead of this one, because bitcoin gold is not going anywhere for now, it is pretty dead at the moment.
The same happened with bitcoin cash, but now it is rising, i dont know the real reason.

nobody likes bitcoin gold, i dumped mine when the price was about $300 dollars each one of them, and i was happy to sell them because it was like free money, but it was difficult to setup your wallet and export your private key, i remember that there were a lot of issues regarding to this. i am happy because i was one of those who didn't lost a penny during this process.
i hope that this is not going to happen with the new fork, a lot of people are going to be exposed to lose their bitcoins if this is happens again.

Bitcoin gold possibly like bitcoin cash, for me it will not take long of the price to rise higj. Just like bitcoin cash it will pump at first then price will have it dump. We dont know yet, but I think it will not reach stable at a peak price.

Btc goold is just another altcoin forked from bitcoin and use zcash technology then developer premined it and then doing an airdrop. Btcgold use zcash algorithm. It is just like zcash with 21 million total coin will be issued. Dont compare it to bitcoin cash. Bitcoin cash is the true hard fork. Bitcoin gold is not.

No, it's just another failure coin, bitcoin gold is not a good coin and it doesn't has any value  and as soon as it comes out it has been sold by the users and rejected by a lot of wallet and exchanger, when this happened we already knew that the future of bitcoin gold wont be good and up until now the coin  has sink, no one ever mention that bitcoingold is worth to keep

I dont see anything new it they have just changed the protocol and want to earn money thats why they created bitcoin gold ,not just that there are already many altcoin which are bitcoin clone with slight changes in protocol.cryptocurrency without project is now useless ,it is just that people are buying altcoin so market works but there is high risk to these altcoin.

Bitcoin gold is pure marketing in my opinion. Its main function seems to be ASIC resistant and whatnot, but then these are all functionalities that other coins such as LTC and VTC have already tried to implement, and have continued to be developed. It's not like it's anything new.

In my opinion, it's going to be a pure pump and dump coin.

In the end, it's going to be virtually worthless.

Bitcoin Gold still does not have a wallet, how can it be any good? We will see it if we can use it, send and receive it. Most exchanges did not give bitcoingold to their bitcoin owners. None of private key holders get bitcoin gold for their bitcoin amount at fork date.
Bitcoin Gold team said they will release wallet on November 1st, it is 8th now and there is not a sign for it. I have no hope for their future, we will see

To me bitcoin gold is very good and we need to study the teams behind it. However many cryptocurrency enthusiasts are saying bitcoin gold is governments taking over of blockchain industry and since I have limited knowledge on this I think we may end up with what we have in August. I will invest in it and do day trade with, long time investment is currently not adviseble and we have to just see what we can get from it.

It is not good coin or i'd liked to call that as very bad coin, the developer just try to delay the launch of the main net that means all of the BTG coin already traded in the exchange site just iou coin.

I think its not as good as bitcoin cash, real bitcoin is out of discussion. Their mining operation is even flawed. Their wallet situation was lot more problematic than bitcoin cash. I plan to not ever investing in bitcoin gold.

I do not think I'd be good. In this way, BTC's image is damaged by poor quality fork.

The price that can keep with bitcoin and even though the price fell down right now but still hanging in there I say it is something worth investing for because if you can keep with the best of the best and maintain a good exposure it will lead to reputable ICO.

If you before buying, or when they got for free didn't read what is behind this coin what is its real value that the developers stand behind it you would not ask such questions. This project is a simple Scam. People who are 10 times tried to run my project but I couldn't have made a simple course it is a fork of the cue and the earnings on the brand. I think Bitcoin Gold good for trading. Its because any pump and dump +- 20%. If we can find the good moment, we can take profit so fast.
In my opinion, Bitcoin Gold for long term is not good or high risk to invest because no good supporters.

BTC GOLD won't able to live up the expectation like BCH so  I advise people not to put your money in that coin.

Bitcoin gold is just another altcoin but i must say it is better then bitcoincash to be honest. Because Bcash trying to centralised mining and i dont like centralising crypto. Also bitcoin gold have zcash like technologies and its good for anonimity. Actually it is cloned from bitcoin and changed its algorithm, mined privately for days by developers and than now it can be mined publicly. It is GPU mineable which adds some value but its price might not reach to bitcoin or bitcoin cash's level.

Bitcoin gold have big company behide to support. It is good fork from bitcoin, just like bitcoin cash.

I can't say it's good or bad because BTC Gold is a new altcoin, it still has a lot to prove in the market; if its demand is high or not. There are a lot of things to consider first before concluding that a certain coin is good to invest in or not and not just because it was a split from BTC doesn't mean its price is the same as Bitcoin as well.

I have sold mine immediately, but I sold my bitcoin cash too early as well. The best out of all forks is imo bitcore (btx), the first out of all forks, virtual fork though.

I would say that BTC Gold is good for literally nothing. It's bad for the bitcoin community as a whole & it's a useless money grab coin.

Hopefully it dies a short but painful death. I won't be peddling in it -- that's for sure.

This is a risky coin. I will not buy it for long-term storage. Maybe it should be watched before buying. If it starts to grow, then you can make investments in it

I personally think BTG is crap however it carries the name of a Bitcoin Fork and has a lot of mcap. So for that reason I own some because people are not rational and will pump it above $1000 IMO.

I agree with you on this topic, btg is just a simple fork of bitcoin, coming with zero innovation and new technology. They want to create something they can control, btg is just one of them.

I do not know, but some people still keep BTC gold on the grounds that one day the price will go up. that means no one can say good or bad.

To me it is nothing but a coin created to speculate with its price and for the developers to get some profits they do not deserve, they are trying o make it seems as if they care about the community but if they cared at all they will not be realizing such an amateur fork, if you have some you can sell it and get your free money or you can keep it until the whales begin to pump it and make even more money that way.

There is a real development team working with that coin so it's pretty tough to say if it's worth the investment or not.
Just throw a little bit of money into it and see what happens.

I don't think so. Indeed originally bitcoin gold predicted would rise exceeding bitcoin but in fact is not, rather, even ride the bitcoin is very high and bitcoin gold not in condition of the original estimate. Therefore I think the bitcoin gold not too good

Bitcoin gold still a mistery coins. Its new coin born after bitcoin fork and the team behind its still a mistery. I suggest to wait for more hint about this coin before buying it.  :D

Same here. Bitcoin Gold is of course just another Bitcoin fork that will remain under the shadows of the true and original Bitcoin. But if we are to consider all these coins, regardless of their real purpose, as investments and instruments to acquire wealth then perhaps you might want to leave some in your wallet just in case it will liken its later movements to Bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Cash was also treated poorly in the beginning but it soon grew higher.

I do not believe in bitcoin gold because I think BTC gold will not be worth much when bitcoin is still alive and well. People will not invest in a copy of bitcoin because I think it would be risky. I would choose to invest in altcoin, which is a safer way for me.

Yes I have a doubt also in btc gold future. It just creates to earn who develop's this btc gold, it aint good. Maybe for those who really wanted to ride in this btc gold. I still choose other altcoins than btc gold.

It's not about believe in the bitcoin gold or not but it's about what can bitcoin gold do for us? remember the community is not decide to agree about the bitcoin gold forks. Bitcoin gold has a purpose to only become another pump and dump. It's different with the bitcoin cash that brings segwit to the real bitcoin. Another bad thing about the pre-mined token that already owned by the developers of bitcoin gold. We know that the developer is unknown.

most altcoins are this way. it is not just bitcoin gold. and most altcoins are the most profitable investments that is how they stay alive. they get manipulation then they get pumped and each pump leaves behind a lot of wounded people who will be bag holding that altcoin for a long time and all that time they will be advertising it as a false good. eventually another pump comes along and they get some of their money back not all.

and most of the develoeprs are getting rich like this. that is why they premine their coins. even the biggest one which is ethereum had a huge premine of 70 million or more.

It might be good coin I never look at their website or team but I am sure that it is not better than bitcoin and will not in the future as well  :) Keep bitcoin, they are already fork, you might have though.

I think its funny that all the high level members always bash the hard forks of bitcoin when they always turn out to have value to miners. You guys who have been in this for so long should take a real look at the other sides of this market, and realize that these hard forks happen for a reason. The coins that are being manipulated are your precious worthless old projects like STRAT and Factcom and Golem and stupid Monero. and those other outdated coins that are basically the equivalent to "yahoo." For all the people statrting out in this industry I would really recommend doing your own research and keeping up with the cutting edge projects because most of the senior members on here cant recognize value in any coin post 2014.
