Yep, the info just came out. Hence the big price explosion. I would say it is now time to buy alts, since all the people who sold for free money want them now again!

There's no confusion so far, the news is true, Segwit2X has officially been cancelled  because of lack of consensus as I come to know.

so for now,nothing to worry about the hardfork.

Yes, it is beautiful true. Now all altcoins investments will give us huge profit, their price are green so it is very good news.

The whole market will slowly go in a huge uptrend, few great days in coming from now.

It has allready begun  ;D when you just throw a look into any exchange you can see that something sick is going on at the moment, most of alts are in in uptrend. These can least a few days for sure.

So that's what happens why bitcoin price sunddenly spiked. I was surprised to see itwent 7888 and then now back to 7300. Do you guys think it'sbest to buy alts now? planning to put my btcs on alt in the meantime.

Probably more likely due to the lack of replay protection. If true, alts will hopefully start ticking up again. Sure hope so, 'cause most of my alts are butt hurt right now.

I think it is a good time for basket trading. I would just pick 5-10 good alts with medium capitalization for midterm right now. They should recover after this news for sure.

I saw bitcoin for $ 6700 I wonder what's going on? When I read this article, I understand why. That's good news and a chance to buy altcoin for those who missed it before

Good news for ALTs but that cancellation threw a wrench in my plans to pick up more ALTs for cheap before the fork lmao.

Guess I will have to wait and see the next time I can hop back in.

My news confirms it too. I wanted to pick some more alts the next week, but i didnt sell my alts so thats good.

Sounds advice my friend. Some folks here want to bash alts regardless of what they are, but you don't make money trading with just one coin/token.

Sold my Waves for a profit cause I was certain i'd get another chance to buy in before the fork.. I'm happy the fork is cancelled though.

So its true  :o :o :o :o that the Segwit2x is cancelled. Can anyone give me link or details why cancelled? If cancelled it will resume other day/month/year or there is no more segwit2x .. :) :) :)

I think it is true. Well its good that it has been cancelled because it looks like this segwit2x implementation has gained support from the community. And its better that they heed what we perceived as very messy implementation and it's gonna disrupt the network. So I guess altcoin bleeding will be over because they are going back to altcoin right now. Look at the price of the top altcoins they are all going green.

What a surprise, but I still think they will try again in a few months

It is good they cancelled it. The changes were marginal and hardly worth another fork.
They could have just gone to Bitcoin cash instead. Hopefully now we can have a good
rally through the holidays and winter.

yes yes yes its true. i love this news.i hope there will be no fork at least until next year around april or may  so we can make a huge profit from just altcoins. huge dumping coming. there are many shit coins yes but now i think poeple are smarter to invest right coins. many coins are new in market with  good projects. during this fork there were many good news but didnt effect price and now can effect. keep going to read news and buy good altcoins.

I'm still waiting for more confirmations but I will be very happy if this is true because it will save us a lot of mess. Now we can see alts exploding as a lot of people sold alts to buy BTC for the fork.
