What is road map for this coin now if i may ask ?

There isn't an official roadmap yet but it will be along the lines of what the original project aimed for e.g. promoting ELYTE as the first Ethereum Currency, getting merchants on board and also the possibility of an ELYTE marketplace.

But I don't want to get too far ahead and mislead anyone. The success of this project will come from community involvement.

This means the first priority is to distribute ELYTE coins to those who are still holding ELITE and want to get involved. If we get the support and the numbers then this coin can easily surpass the ATH of ELITE and that would give us a lot of options for the future.

I think it's a very good idea for those of us who still have the ELITE, but say when you receive the equivalent in ELYTE and if it is immediate after those coins are burned

We did talk about doubling what people are currently hodling but this may leave no ELYTE for new participants.  So to start it will be 1 for 1.

The roadmap will be similar to the one for ELITE. The reason we're all here is because we liked that project and would have liked it to continue so we don't need to reinvent the wheel.

But the immediate focus is on getting all the previous ELITE holders to swap their coins as they have first rights. After that deadline has passed we will look at how to distribute the rest of the coins so we can build up trading on EtherDelta, apply for a CoinMarketCap listing, new exchanges etc.

What does one tend to gain from swaping considering the price of Elite ?

Why do you need proceed swapping instead of creation own token with some airdrop for community growing?

You don't actually have to send your ELITE to anyone. You just have to prove that you own those ELITE in the first place.

I apologise if that was misleading and I'll try to make that clearer but if you read the instructions on how to claim your ELYTE you can see that it doesn't involve sending your ELITE to anyone.

We have changed the process, for those with the same queries as you.  Now you can keep your ELITE, and we will match them with ELYTE.  We realised this might be an issue of trust for people so we changed it.

For those who are prepared to burn ELITE, there will be bonus airdrops after the initial distribution.

If you can prove to Philicibine that you aren't the same person then you'll get your coins otherwise you won't get any ELYTE.

I already ansvered in ELITE tread and in Philicibine pm. No response. And I can repeat here, that I send my ELITE from yobit to myeterwallet, so "scammer adress" = "yobit adress". I gues it is possible to check from which adress comes transactions from yobit so everybody who suspect me can check and proove my words.

If that's the case then there won't be any problems, you'll just have to give Philicibine a bit of time to check everything out as he won't be online for a few hours yet.

This first round of distribution is for people who are holding the old ELITE coin where the dev scammed everyone. If you hold those coins then you will receive the same amount of ELYTE. You don't have to pay anything so there is no risk for you.

Hey stepping in here. I filled out the google form.
I wanted to sell my ELITE but the price is so low, that i decided to keep most of it. looking forward to this project and ELYTE airdrop! :-)

Right now the priority is to send ELYTE coins to ELITE holders up until the deadline.

Once that deadline has passed then there will be an opportunity to take the next steps such as roadmap, website etc.

What I can say is that the roadmap will be similar to the one for ELITE because the whole purpose of this new project is to achieve what ELITE should have been if the dev had not disappeared.

Also, it's highly likely that there will still be lots of coins left over after the deadline for ELITE holders to claim so there will be plenty of ELYTE to be distributed to the community after Wednesday.

This project seem clearing and interesting with updating from dev. Hope this project will run better than ELITE for a long term.

what is your goal in doing this?

The aim, is to continue where ELITE left off.  The coin had built-in value because of its low total supply.  Thats why the community got behind it so much.

My ultimate aim, because of this built-in value, is to get it into the hands of as many people as possible.  It already has the low transaction times and security it needs.  So we should aim to get this coin into retailers hands.  I would eventually like to partner with a card company, and make "gift card / discount card" style wallets.  Customers could buy a card with credit on, that gets a certain level of discount in partner shops / websites, and its all running on the eth blockchain.

It wouldnt be hard to setup a customer facing topup contract to buy more ELYTE when needed.

The ultimate aim of ELITE was for a decentralised exchange.  This would be costly / time consuming to setup and alot to maintain.  And ultimatley, the ELITE dev was always going to run so he could say what he wanted.

Hopefully my future plans wont take too long to sort out, and maybe the coin will start to see its inherant value.

I am sure lots of you have opinions on where we should go with this.  This is my first coin, so I am open to your ideas.  We are also looking for help from respectable members of the community.  If you have any input or ideas, jump into the telegram group for a chat.  The roadmap should be the next thing we do really.  Also a website.  We cant hope to be listed on exchanges without both.

Philicibine, I think it would really help to just copy and paste the Road map and other info from Eilite. Just post in below your swap imformation in the opening post and this will help people understand what the coin will do and make them gain interest.

It would be great if that was possible but I'm not sure if we would be allowed to use the same name on exchanges or CMC and it would also leave open the possibility of the old scammer dev re-appearing once the price goes up and trying to create FUD to bring the project down.

I bought about 2245 ELITE with all my spare money when the price was high and it became a disaster as everyone knows.

If you've been following the Ethereum Lite project then hopefully you've come to the same conclusion as everyone else that it was indeed a scam and the dev has no intention of coming back.

However, anyone can read through the last few pages of that thread and see that there was a lot of community support for that project and people (myself included) were hoping that the dev would come back and revive the coin.As that hasn't happened, a few of us were starting to talk about ways to take over the coin and move it forward as a community. Philicibine has taken the initiative to create a new contract with 1,000,000 coins with 100,000 coins for dev fund and bounties, just as with ELITE. The project is now known as Ethereum Lyte.

Philicibine has just confirmed that there will be a change to the process of claiming your ELYTE coins to make it easier for everyone to join the new project. You no longer need to burn your ELITE. Please follow these steps:

They ask in the form an ETH address where the Elite are stored, but my coins are on Yobit and I think that's no ETH address!

I will suggest to restore confidence and to build true supporting community team who took over this project to carry on should come out with their social media profiles. It isn't big thing just like happening in other projects a brif introduction of teams is usual thing to be shared to make sure transparency.

You make a very valid point.  I am not really making any effort to be anonymous.  This however, is my first go at making a coin.  I do have quite a busy life outside of this and whilst giving it a go I would like to get the team together and some real goals set in a white paper before we make it all public and official.

Its too early in the process for this to be getting in the way of work and family life.  Hopefully people understand.

ELYTE will continue with the main principles of ELITE and also improve the project with ideas from the community.

ELITE is basically a dead coin now as the dev has disappeared and most likely dumped his holdings. It is still on EtherDelta but no-one is going to buy it after everything that has happened.

Make a myetherwallet, send your ELITEs to the MEW, and then submit a request to have those replaced with ELYTEs

Philicibine is sending out the coins manually and checking each address as he goes so it will take a little bit of time but as long as you've done everything right then you'll get your ELYTE.

Coins will be distributed as fairly as possible to the community and community feedback will be sought at all stages of development. This is exactly the same as the original project but with more honesty and transparency and the intention to provide a much better outcome for the people who back this coin.

Reminder to everyone that the deadline for claiming your ELYTE is today, Wednesday 15th November at 22:00 GMT so a little under 5 hours left. As long as you submit the correctly completed form within that time then you'll receive your coins.

Has anybody built a successful project which has seen an Ethereum token being used as a currency?

As far as I'm aware, nobody has done that yet.

So to say the "aim is to make ELYTE the first Ethereum token that is used as a currency" is correct.

You can still join the airdrop when it is announced and yes there will be further bounties. At the moment the team are focused on completing the whitepaper and website, after which there will be an announcement on airdrop and bounties.

I would recommend you join the Telegram group or follow the Twitter page for latest news. You can see the links a few post before this one.

I am interested to see new projects on the Ethereum platform. I have seen the messages about what has happened to Ethereum Lite but its price is rising without a market cap (N/A). Does it have anything to do with this new development? Should I buy that or wait for this Ethereum Lyte to be listed on the exchanges?

It's already trading on EtherDelta. ELYTE hasn't been officially listed yet but you can still trade it via the EtherDelta link on the first page of this thread.

Volume has been picking up since last week and the price has gone up. Website and white paper due to be released shortly and price is likely to shoot up further once it's officially listed on EtherDelta and CoinMarketCap.

The link to EtherDelta has been on the first page of this thread for nearly two weeks now so I'm not sure why anyone would think you can't trade it. Join the Telegram group to stay up to date with the latest news.

Also, I think some people have been mistakenly purchasing ELITE but the one you want is ELYTE. ELYTE should be officially listed on EtherDelta soon and then you'll be able to find the symbol ELYTE in the dropdown menu. You can already trade it as normal right now using the above link.

All transactions on ether delta are extremely slow right now

I've been hearing that this cryptokitties game using the ethereum network has slowed down the transactions a lot. I think this has been like a stress test on the ethereum network. I remembered the times when we did not have fast internet and downloading a file would eat up most of the bandwidth and everyone else in the network would suffer from slowdown.

I was able to buy at etherdelta last night. I bought ELITE at first when I saw it on coinmarketcap, then read more stuff about ELITE and then landed here. I ended up buying ELYTE which seems the right one. Now I have ELITE and ELYTE tokens.

I can confirm that it is safe.

The team registered both domains and the .biz is where the site is currently being built but the website was released before it was 100% complete just to show the community that there is work being done behind the scenes.

Once everything is completed we may just move the site over to elyte.io but both domains are safe for you to visit.

I think that we all can conclude that Elite and  Elyte  have been a scam to the community, thanks to the tokens creator phil mottershead (opened a bitcointalk page https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2618851.new#new)  who initially sent elite swap to us and later took the exchange and crowdsale money we raised for elyte...after which he turned the website down. We cant complain on telegram because he (as only admin ...with Nadim´s help) bans any accounts that calls him out to pay community the money he took. I have both tokens in my wallet and gradually putting together groups of people who bought the tokens in order for us to take a legal action against Phil Mottershead.

Legal action will focus on investors money on the projects he created and which he controlled all funds. Elite and Elyte websites are down-thanks to Phil Mottershead...both are  still scamming people via exchanges and Phil has to stop them and refund investors their money. Time to take action-please feel free to contact him and send me your details in order to join the action.

You nailed it John. in fact I am currently leading (with a good anti-fraud London Lawyer) an investigation to root out Cryptocurrency  fraudsters located in the UK  and Phil Mottershead is among them after getting more than 200 signatures from investors who bought from Elyte crowdsale. Those same people indicated that Phil Mottershead closed his Elyte website and ran away with their money including the money raised for Yobit...after making some calls and discussions with relevant offices (including HRM Tax) I noticed that Phil Mottershead did not pay tax and even does illegal businesses...Lol , and the books will go against him soon, only time will tell.
