Title: Arbitrage
Post by: Filmmmakerr on November 08, 2017, 10:41:52 PM
How many people here do arbitrage? Do you recommend a bot or manual?

I think a lot of people  earn money on arbitrage. If you can easily earn 5-15% then why not? :)

Arbitrage is buying low and selling high. In altcoins my altcoins trading strategy , I tried it once with a manual but transactions fees from one exchange to another ate all my profit. I have heard people talked about bot been used among exchanges to extract the price difference but I am now yet to try any.

I would just stick to regular trading since there fees and if one exchange is slow for some reason it can goose you up really bad

Great advice, I'm interested in learning more about these bots, has anyone had any good experience with any of them?

I prefer Arbitrage if I can profit and can close transaction fee from arbit itself. Honestly I rarely do it because usually the coins that I hold quickly change the price. Arbit is legit, but I think too many account exchangers will make me dizzy.

I use arbitrage sometimes. But there is a risk that your withdrawal operation would be processed too long by exchanges and you can have sometimes even have some loses.

Make sure you use exchanges with fast withdrawel processing.

Some can take a really long time and you risk losing all potential profit or even a loss if it gets stuck for hours.

I don't use arbitrage now as much as I'm used to before. I like to trade and make researches about upcoming ICOs in opposite of wasting time to arbitrage.

i use arbitrage often, but only with the exchanges with xrp pair, because that means fast deposits and withdrawals. Always first test a exchange how long does it take to deposit or withdraw. It got difficult nowdays because of the bots working everywhere.

Hey Disam, xrp is the only currency which is really convenient for obvious reasons. It is fast, cheap and many exchanges have it.
Are you only arbitragin with yourself? I created this threat:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2817211.msg28842082#msg28842082

to gather information from people arbitagin with other people to realize the bigger premiums like the korean markets.
I`m already doing it with people from Korea,Thailand and Australia. But the process of sending first and transfering back by bank wire involves patience as trust is the biggest obstacle in doing this. If you had a real good friend moving to the other side of the earth you could do it with him. So it surely would be cool to have a threat where people document their story
and experiences of dealing with each other. If there a transfers documented and rated it would give me bigger confidence in sending to someone. There are definetly good people out there which you can trust with large amounts of money because they have moral values and generally a stand up and honest personality. As you can scam people only once but make 100x the profit if you find someone who is legit I`m willing to take that risk. So if you or anyone in this thread have any experience with arbitragin involving sending to other humans I really would like to hear your story.

I like the bot idea. I'm keeping my eyes on this upcoming ICO they are releasing the first arbitrage exchange focused on bringing in the masses with their easy to use UI and by leveling trading volatility through their machine learning bot. Arbitrage is a great way to make a profit especially once you're able to trade across the world with major exchanges by utilizing this platform. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3085831.msg31823480#msg31823480

I rarely do it, but I would recommend doing it manually in general because I really don't trust bots. Arbitrage is good if you can get in and out in the right time you just need to be patient.
