Title: BTC Price drop?
Post by: migueltiu on November 09, 2017, 05:50:59 AM
I have been reading through the forums and I have encountered this topic under the Market and securities section that this member of the forum said on December 2016 to wit, "I currently have $350 btc and i'm sure the price would drop on the next few days. I need a place to invest my btc somewhere".

As for my concern, how do they know that the price would drop? Would it be based on intuition, a tool to predict the future price of these btc or are there facts that support his claim?

Thank you, opinions/answers would very much be appreciated.

Are you saying that I should purchase BTC now? And what is your basis in saying BTC will drop but regain new heights?

There's absolutely no tool or way to predict Bitcoin's price and even if there was it wouldn't work most of the time.
The only way you could make an educated guess on Bitcoin's price would be by analyzing the charts but that still wouldn't be really accurate.
Seeing Bitcoin's price historically, you can tell that he was wrong because the price didn't drop "in the next few days", rather it surpassed $1000 in January and fell down to $900s within that month before going back up in February.

Invest your money in trading. Now that you think bitcoin value will drop in the next few days you can convert your bitcoin into ethereum. Ethereum value is kinda stable for me ranging from 290 - 310 $ each ethereum this past few month. Once your satisfied with the bitcoin price drop, you can convert it again to btc and gain some profit if it increase the value. Well its not guaranteed but for me its a smart move.

As for the protracted fall, it is difficult to say what will happen at all, since many are sitting with the hope that it will be several times higher than now. But the hope of a slight fall and it is during this period that it is possible to bribe a little bit.

Being engaged on btc for a year or more, I have seen how btc deep dump some time and regain or pump even harder after. We need to understand that btc price purely depend on market demand and there are really events occuring that at times affect price like holders panic selling due to fear of dump after segwit or whatsoever.

Do your own analysis risk assessment and remember it's a risky space have patience and be calm if you want to earn a lot you have to stake much but stake only what you have in excess and can afford to lose as the crypto space is susceptible to hackers too.

Cryptopia and Bittrex is very recommended for that but you should learn how to trade accurately so that you will not lose some bits by trading it, And don't focus only on BTC to Ethereum since that coins are for longterm hold basis and the profit you can get for it is so small since ethereum is pretty much stable now. Go reach for another alt who's been hype by the people and make sure that you wouldn't be left behind since some of hype coins are prone to get dumped.

I get your point. Predictions / guess / saying by any one even though they are hero or legendary person it is still prediction or opinion. It is not always correct. No one can really tell what will happen next. No tool, even analization cannot give us accurate result or accurate prediction.

The exact question here is " how do they know that the price would drop?" . do they have basis about what they are saying ? Or they just think it then they share it here. Maybe the right thing to do is just make it a guide and just monitor the price. So you can tell yourself what is really happening to its price.

I Agree but we should also credit what Hero/Legendary member's speculation, they are  already here before we came, and they have already seen this kind of scenario that's why i want to acknowledge their opinion and their speculate because it has a basis.

If you agree then I'm really No, there are many people who have been in the Bitcoin world for a long time, but they are not afraid to take action. and without courage I do not think we can get enough skills, just with the courage to take a decision that will make us get the skill and skill is very useful to be able to analyze price movements. But again maybe I'm quite pessimistic that in this world there are people who can predict the price of Bitcoin properly.

how do the know ?
actually nobody knew about it exactly,he just said what he's thinking back then but with some luck his thought became a reality.
people have their own strategy that is why some people can 'predict' the movement in different way,
for example right now.
my view,due to fork suspended.
we will not see a huge blow in the next few days, but with that we should see a correction in the next few days until next month.
because, people pumped the price a bit hard due to fork that will be implemented in the next few days,
so in other words, from tomorrow until next month we should see a correction.
always do your own research and make your move based on it,

tool to help you out ? live chart and of course social media.
you need to read the map wholly about Btc movement and you need to know a hot news related to Bitcoin.

Nobody knows anything. It's all about doing proper analysis, technical as fundamental, and then make conclusion.
There are guys who are doing this for many years here in the Bitcoin space. Therefore they have developed a good feeling how this markets moves and behaves in certain situations. However this doesn't mean they are always right. They are definitely not.
That's why you should read as much as possible about what's going on this space, use some newsticker to be up to date on time, and maybe learn the basics of technical analysis. It's also useful to listen and read other people's opinions. But in the end you should decide yourself what you wanna do, buy, sell or just hold.

Segwit2x has drop the bomb and cease the Hard Fork and we had seen the large fluctuation on the price of bitcoin and I think the value had reach $7700 dollar then pop the bubble to $7200 immediately it is a sudden change in the value everyone is unaware for this kind of movement, but I think the correction is about to begin let's just hope it can be a good one.

There are tools you can use to predict the direction or trend of the price of bitcoin but there is no definite way to tell that the price will go a certain way. All that can be done is speculate or guess the direction it will take. What you have read is just an speculation and can be true or false. Maybe if he is well trained in trading, it is an educated guess at most.

If hard fork didnt suspend then we will probably see the same chart now.
Price must drop under 5000$ to create formations. Without formations price will not go over 10000$.

What does not to suspend the hard fork? As far as I know the decision on segwit2x postponed. May even be cancelled. I'm still waiting for the issue price of the transaction will be resolved and the transaction rate will increase. If to achieve this purpose, there is another solution then you need to find. As for the price of bitcoin I think we are waiting for the stabilization of prices. A large growth to the end of the year will not be.

the downtrend will happen this week ,, then be prepared for anyone who has been stocking on bitcoin in large quantities .. better move all funds in altcoin .. because certainly altcoin will skyrocket .. and price will not be unstoppable ,,, I believe this week will be a victory...

Well i believe that the bitcoin will always unstable in speaking of price maybe it will drop today or maybe in the next day or a a month or even in a year but we need to have patience on this kind of status about bitcoin because as what we all have known bitcoin is really unstable from the start that is why if bitcoin drop we dont have to worry on it because this thing was already happen in the past.

There is no tool simply that you'll just have to watch and monitor the price movement of bitcoin to see if your investments are growing or decreasing. Just like in the stock market you'll just need to spend some of your time in monitoring the movements of prices.
