So if you invest in it, it's a bet that the developpers will succeed with what they planned, if they do price will go up, if they don't price will go down.

It isn't just another coin, this one seems to have gone back to fundamentals of usability and engaging people in the principles of crypto without a bunch of technical (or ideological) stuff in the way. If it isn't an elaborate scam, it will grow and do well in the medium to long term.
