Title: Could the decentralized nature of bitcoin be applied to politics? Post by: HodlingCaulfield on November 09, 2017, 12:59:08 PM I was just wondering if we could apply the decentralized aspects of bitcoin to fix the stagnation of American politics. Instead of having Senators and Representatives, can't we just vote for laws and amendments? Just get rid off the middleman? With technology and the internet why do we need representatives to represent us? Our democracy will be based on consensus, just like our beloved bitcoin. Just a thought.
