But as if by magic he can convey the exact same threat while putting on the veneer of civility by grammatically changing the responsible actor to "society". It's a technique that I can admire insofar as recognizing a skillful execution even while feeling like I need to take a shower after reading it. Like their ROI of ponzi schemes and chain games, or their ability to "get rich", the price "always going up", etc.
