Will try this later on :) hopfully I can report back with finding a block witjin the nexy week OK, I found this in your post history ... Quote producing around 230GH/s just now on btcguild I'd be interested in how many of your found blocks are orphaned as I understand that solo mining requires careful configuration of your peers to maximise your network connectivity. Post by: elasticband on June 20, 2013, 07:27:16 AM 230gh/s plus some more whwn cooler :) bren on gild for a week tomorrow and it sayd in my stats I found 2 blocks.... so thought I would try for a week or so while I still stand a chancr Title: Re: setting up solo mining? Reminder to self: always check posters history before firing off a quick reply :-\ But yes, I am interested in whether you need any specific configuration to reduce the orphan rate. Anyone know? Title: Re: setting up solo mining? Post by: os2sam on June 20, 2013, 09:41:18 AM 230gh/s Throwing 230Ghs at a bitcoin client may not work so well. I have heard of others having to setup pool software so that they could solo mine with one 60Ghs Avalon because the Bitcoin-qt couldn't handle that hashrate. Sam Title: Re: setting up solo mining? Post by: jeannie on June 20, 2013, 09:47:32 AM I guess it will be tough, rather spend your time on the bitcoin pools, I guess you will earn more.
