Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency made by satoshi nakamoto in 2009 but after that time many other people also made their coins which now called Altcoins . Some of the old coins are etherium, Litcoin, ripple coin, Doge coin etc. You can find the detailed instruction and about their markets are there charts for prices in this site called https://coinmarketcap.com

You can always visit any exchange and organize the coins according to value then you will know. Already people have mentioned the most common high value coins. Just because they high value doesn't always mean it's a good investment or one that will be successful. Some less know coins can turn out good profits too. Then you can use this profits to build up your main investments.
