Title: For the Press board: Slashdot article, "Five predictions for (Bit)coin"
Post by: tgeller on June 19, 2013, 09:29:15 PM
Hey, folks. An article of interest that I wrote was just published on Slashdot: "Five predictions for (Bit)coin" , http://news.slashdot.org/story/13/06/19/1751201/five-predictions-for-bitcoin . Because I'm new here, I can only post about it here. If a mod would care to move it, I'd appreciate that. :)

Thanks for posting, I like the approach the author is taking by not taking hard pro or con side.

I agree that actually governments getting involved and "legalizing" it in their bureaucratic ways could be very good for widespread adoption of Bitcoin (or its alts and descendants)

Thanks, Diamond!

One thing I got from attending the Bitcoin conference in San Jose recently (when researching my ACM article) was how many speakers explicitly welcomed government regulation. They believe it'll vindicate the market; obviously, I agree. :)
