Your joking right?  If we could make $420 USD a day with that low hash rate why would anyone buy an Antminer running 14Ths?  Or mine any alt coin?

USB mining is a complete waste of time. You can make more money by going to a shopping center and looking for pennies in the parking lot.

https://youtu.be/PyQEf_LlbUk Im not joking watch this video, with 3000 mh/s he earns 0.0172 BTC a day, calculate with 15gh/s = around 0.06 BTC a day. Ok if Im wrong, but with 15gh/s should still earn around 0.02 - 0.03 BTC a day i think.. Why people buying antminer with TH of power? because they want to make lots of BTC in one day.

Oh, you got the idea from the repository of the sum of all human knowledge, Youtube!!  Doesn't anyone look at the dates of things anymore?

When the BFL Jalapeno's started trickling out when they were new, 4 or 5 years ago, they may have made that much BTC, but, not anymore.  Now the entry hash rate is in the range of 8 to 14 THs that doesn't even approach the numbers your talking about.

Don't waste too much time with Youtube, always exercise a bit of common sense and research to corroborate what other sources claim.

Good luck.

Well Im gonna buy it and try, i saw 4 months old youtube video where guy testing asic usb miner with only 330 mh/s earnings - (0.0054BTC a day) with 15 gh/s must be more. I saw new usb miner gekkoscience, if its useless then why they selling it?

Nobody is making $38 USD a day on an old USB Block erupter.  That is what you call a bald face lie.

You do understand that people who post You tube videos make money off of advertising right?  They'll say anything to get views/revenue.

It's also possible he was mining some new sha256d altcoin and then cashing it in for BTC.  But if you want to trust a Youtube video over a modicum of common sense then by all means go ahead.  At least you'll have learned something first hand.  And USB miners don't consume allot of electricity as some other alternative learning methods do.

Have fun.

Are you trolling or are you really this dumb?

15ghs of SHA256 makes less than 2 pennies per day. If you have free electricity your USB miner will MAYBE make you $6 per year.

I think youtube is about the silliest thing going these days.  Yes there are some useful how to videos such as how to properly light a cigar and PragerU.

But there is no way in the world your going to make .01 BTC ($69 USD) per day with 15Ghs.  I have 74 USB BE's 1 Jalapeno and two 800Ghs Monarchs which are all shut down because their not worth the electricity to run them.  If I were to make anywhere close to .01 BTC per day, or even per week, I would be running them.

But please do let me know how make out by Christmas time.

Have fun.

No it would not work bro. You have switch to Antminer s7 or s9 to start mine high amount bitcoin dude. Still the you mentioned will not be possible with the combining producing hash rate from the antminer and commercial electricity you gonna use it for mining.
If you still not believe on it, you can find the bitminter's thread in the mining section, you can check their admin, even he will say that it is not possible.

You really sound like the type of person that can't afford a single Antminer S9 or any other newer model, so you buy into the overly hopeful hype of a possibly profitable USB miner, when such a thing hasn't been profitable for years now. Stop trolling.

That real but I do not know why people are taking this discussion more further when we know that USB mining is old one and no more profitable option in mining as of now. Nowadays many people mining bitcoins with the ASIC miners like antminer L3+, Avalon, Antminer s9.
Some people still stick with the GPU mining but the largely they mine monero and ethereum only. Even GPU also better option than USB mining.

Man people can be really dumb sometimes. Look at him even after everybody's warning he don't believe. Man use a damn mining calculator and see for yourself. If you really want some btc I suggest you to buy some btc instead of buying the usb miner that way you will be more profitable

Maybe the first day mining was available to the public this would be possible.. Lol

No. You need specialized mining equipment to make any amount of BTC anymore.

I laugh really hard everytime I see someone advertising their USB mining 'rig'.

Lol.

LOL, the are plenty of calculators online. Just use it :D According to cryptocompare you'd earn like $8... yearly :D :D - not including electricity costs :D :D

Maybe he meant 0.01USD not 0.01BTC

Use calculators.. When I tried the 15gh/s with free electricity.. It is just $0.02.. But if you are paying electricity and your pc power supply is just 500w.. You will be losing money.

USB Bitcoin miners are available to buy, but they don’t really generate any significant profits.

You can some info about USB miners here https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/mining/hardware/usb/

You do know the 2PAC's use chips harvested from the old s5's right? We are now 2 generations past those.
Sidehack's sticks are made for novelty and for solo lotto mining. No one with any knowledge of mining buys them to generate reliable income because they just cannot do it.

They sell it to separate you from your money and put it in their pockets.

Agree with all posts warning against buying USB miners.  You would do better to take the $60 the gekko 2pac costs and just buy BTC outright and hold it.  USB miners generate 0.01 - 0.02 $USD per day.  That is 1-2 pennies per day at current difficulty.  There are 6000 pennies in that $60, that's how many days it would take to make your initial investment back if the difficulty never changed in that time.  The difficulty will change, it will just take that much longer.  You are better off doubling you investment and buy an old used s5 and mine with that.  You may spend more in electricity than you make but there is a whole lot more noise involved :)

Granted..... if you actually found a block solo mining with one of these..... that might be the best BTC story I've heard in a long ass time.

Yes, a better investment for you will be buying some BTC and keep it. It's a waste of money to buy expensive hardware, paying for electricity and count if you are in profit or loss.

Absolutely not! even with a Antminer S9 you cant earn $500+ per day.
