Title: Is there any demand on mining equipment?
Post by: Andrey.1963 on November 10, 2017, 04:01:06 PM
We produce equipment for mining.

We are planig to expand our existing production and also expand the product line, up to ready-made mining farms
There is opinion that mining will be died soon and so nobody needs in new equipment
We believe that rumors about the inevitable death of mining are greatly exaggerated, and it will live at least 3 to 5 years.
We would like to know the opinions of people with different experiences and at different levels of mastery of the process

Could you give an answer for folowing questions:

•   Do you think that mining will be died soon?
•   How long mining will still be alive?
•   How do you see the future of mining?
•   How will it look like in 2 or 3 year time?

And also - Could you say what do you think about our project?

Now we produce the following products:

1. Power supplies. Series 90+ (modular): http://esonics.com/catalog/bloki_pitanya/seriya_90/
• Esonics 1000W (ES-FM1000W (90+))
• Esonics 1250W (ES-FM1250W (90+))
• Esonics 1560W (ES-FM1560W (90+))
88+ series (not modular): http://esonics.com/catalog/bloki_pitanya/seriya_88/
• Esonics 1550W (ES-NM1550W (88+))
• Esonics 1750W (ES-NM1750W (88+))

2. Monitor emulator (HDMI 4K) with sound support
http://esonics.com/catalog/emulators/

3. Watchdog Prime Watchdog
http://esonics.com/catalog/storozhevyye-taymery/

We plan to raise money for the ICO and launch new products into production.
We are ready to start video cards and motherboards, we also can start production of finished farms
Just now launched a new power supply in 2300 W

But before the launch it would not be superfluous to find out what the population now needs, what is at stake.

Therefore, we ask these our "private questions" as well:

•   Which kinds of video cards make sense to produce now? What specification?
•   What power units will be in demand now?
•   Will there be demand on ready-made farms, and if so, then on which?
•   What is worth to produce now?

Mining is the blood circulation of the most top cryptocurrencies , if mining(POW) died soon then currencies will die with it , and no not even in near future , proof of work was the key that satoshi build the currency on and it's the best proof working until now.
So mining is unprofitable :) , but i think it will stay for a very reasonable time.

For us is very crucial if mining will be on a horse during next two years.  It seems that main old coins will continuer their work. And if new ones appear with new algorithms it would be even better for us: we can develop equipment strait for them.

Mining will continue in one fashion or another.  It has too, it is the lifeblood of the top coins.

The big question i think is will it be profitable for your market in the coming years? And will people still be willing to buy equipment from me?
There are so many variables to that, only you can really answer

These quistions are reasonable and of course we thought about these problems..
We work with the segment of market where is a lot of uneffective dicisions.
There were two goals which miners and developers of equipment for minings were trying to reach: 1. speed, 2. performance. They wanted as soon as possible to have the mashine which bring them a lot of coins.

And now we are doing two kind of works: 1. we produce equipments for those miners who designed and collected their mining ferms in a big hurry (for replacement old parts), 2. we are developing new ferms by making stress not on the hurry but rather on efficience

if I wanted to produce the mining equipment I would start with the production of mining machines, but not a separate devices for them

The PSU and watchdog from Esonic look really interesting. The watchdog and HDMI dummy plug are developed by their in-house engineers, can't say for sure about power supplies - haven't seen the PCB topology and build quality. Would love to see more detailed pictures of the PSUs, since they claim very good power efficiency and density.
Caveat emptor - upcoming Esonic motherboards are not developed by Esonic's engineers, they are just models from second-tier OEM manufacturers - SuPOX, Maxsun, ITZR. Most probably, announced GPUs are also OEM models, equipped with Samsung memory chips at the request of Esonic. If you consider buying from Esonic, first compare the prices of analogical models from AsRock, Biostar, Gigabyte (MB) and Asus, Gigabyte, Palit and MSI (GPUs).
On a last note, Esonic is a legit company from Russia, rebranding OEM computer equipment - https://3logic.ru/?A=5&ByV=399 .

I will wait the specification and prices. Also watchdog timers looks very good (much better that could be found at Aliexpress). Is the watchdog timer software cross-platform? Both for Linux and Windows

Today miners are putting together different components from different manufacturers to build a rig. Since you are producing all the parts, can you make everything into a single box rather then having the parts and putting them together? You could design on with proper air flow.

If you could do that i would become your distributor offering sales and servicing in my country. PM to discuss :)

For the GPU mining, you have to use different part for optimal performance.

My fault. From how many manufacturers do you source the motherboards and graphic cards?
Are the power supplies also designed by ODM? I thought that was an own design of Esonics.

И вoпpoc кoтopый личнo мeня интepecyeт - ecть в paбoтe фepмы нa мaтплaтax H81 и HM76? Hacкoлькo cтaбильнo oни paбoтaют в дoлгocpoчнoй пepcпeктивe? How many mining farms you are able to produce during a month?
