Title: Don't bargain your BTC too soon
Post by: Kloug on November 10, 2017, 06:09:10 PM
..just consider that some of us wanna buy at the current price, and have to wait slow bank transfers until monday.

That's the fourth time I'd miss an opportunity because of bank transfers going from a wednesday to the next monday :(

It feels like almost everyone are hyping up BCH for a short pump because the investors and traders are still unsure on what to do now after S2X was called off. Also, miners moving in to BCH since it's more profitable to mine than bitcoin is another thing that happened in the past, so I'm honestly not gonna sell my coins just because of these two reasons.

Yes, I can relate and I prefer to buy BTC instantly. Aren’t  you able to use a credit card to buy instantly through coinbase or similar exchanges? Alternatively, try peer to peer exchanges such as localbitcoin for a quick deal with sellers.

Oh I see a price fall of 1000 dollars for bitcoin, latest price is at 6550 dollars. I will not part with my bitcoins anytime soon but I want to tell everyone reading this post to not part with your bitcoins. It looks like a whales game and they are out to collect even more bitcoins from us and they are using the November fork on November 16. I have fallen before for this game, this time won't happen.

What if, BCH really takes over  ;D
I know, unlikely, but... just think about the possibility of that gives me chills.

I think this incident reminds us that BTC is full of attacks / investors with malicious intention

That is highly unlikely but in the Bitcoin scene you never know what to expect. I am waiting to see further developments and I hope the price to be back at 7500 dollars now and I hope I can see the 10.000 dollars during Christmas time this year. That would be a beautiful Christmas for me as I would buy what ever I want this year.

For my side.. i think there is possibilities that some copycat may take over but in small chance, why? bitcoin is the most trusted cryptocurrency ever. It is opensource not for copycatting but the purpose is we are able to review its code. and the code is reviewed by majority of developers. and it is in full stats because it is taken cared off by developers and miners for almost a decade. that milestone hasn't reached yet by any copycats. I wouldnt even mind to put my BTC into BCH remember  BCH is new and new systems/softwares has alot of bugs and glitches that type of problems already overcome by bitcoin.

everyone jumping to bitcoin cash now, it is likely to be short bubble for bitcoin. But, after bitcoin gold releases this trend will change again.

may in his country have no direct access to the purchase of bitcoin.
makadariitu he must wait for the bank process.
this is the most annoying thing with the bank's work system.
otherwise with bitcoins that have unlimited quick access and do not recognize holidays.
this is what makes us happy to use bitcoin

Yes I can buy with credit card, sure, but 5% is quite a lot, and buying limit is low

I have to agree with this, Yes bitcoin may be prone to any kind of attack and BCH may be better than BTC but the thing is BTC is already established. It is growing and continually grows with time. BCH may be better but it will take more years for it to be on par with BTC. As for the dip, well one thing i can say is that it happened before and it will happen again. BTC, BCH, ETH, or any other coins. they all experienced this kind of thing, it is normal even stock market is having the same.

Its good time to try a short, bitcoin is going down in a correction, i guess will bellow $6000 or maybe $5500.
Only thing you should not do is sell your bitcoin and not buy in the right time.

Or just hold until BTC go up again to new record price.

So it's better to buy a bit more bitcoin, put it into a hardware or paper wallet, and next time when you expect a dip or a smaller flash crash, you just send some coins to exchange and you can trade the waves...  Or, you buy some alts, but nowdays the best is to have it in BTC, because none of the alts has the potential of BTC these days...

At least you can buy bitcoin with your bank account. I can't do this in my country.
I can only buy with cash if i find a good local seller.

I am watching the BCC increase with interest. But only to see if I can get some bitcoin below 6500. It could be a good time to get in. BCH taking over? I can understand the reason of Miners and some business supporting it but no I don't want the bitcoin to be controlled by them.

So what day do you prefer the best?
With this current price it is a good eye for most investor that it could be the time before it hypes again.
Seriously, are they trying to make their own profit by making the transaction late?

Only people who don't know what they're getting into.
BCH is nothing but a speculative altcoin with no backing. My question is, why would we even need a forked alternative to Bitcoin. Even if 2x has been cancelled it's not like we need to change things right now. Things like 2x need to be thoroughly prepared, not rushed. We will eventually have an upgrade, hopefully a better one.

BTC will most likely fall for another week or more. You know the pattern guys, just look at the charts from previous months.

It's a "fall of BTC and the rise of BCH" scenario today. I think i will just let the hype of BCH pass while i HODL my BTC because i believe that BTC will rise again anytime soon.
