Should I buy BTC on 6500, or wait to possibly go even lower?

my advice is - buy little when it goes down little.
Buy more when it goes down more.

If you are playing long term, 5-10 years anything under $10k is probably going to get you at least 500% profit.. IMO anyway. Short term probably can it in a bit lower..

BTC will get back when BCH will dump. Can't tell right now if BCH already started dumping but it has certainly stopped rising

I think that it will continue down in this week. You can wait until $6000 to buy. In next month, Bitcoin will go up again.

This is an age old question, the nature of bitcoin dictates that it could be up or down at any time, the question you need to ask yourself is can I afford to lose whatever I put in, nobody should be putting money into bitcoin that they need, worst case scenario is that bitcoin goes way down and you lose your investment.

Actually no one wants to give suggestions regarding buying/investing in crypto at a price someone asks to know. Even if a person has good ability in prediction.

Lets say, if someone suggested you to buy @ $6500 today and tomorrow the price falls to $5500 maybe below this.
Will you spare the guy who suggested you to buy and will you digest the loss?

The main thing is,
Invest what you can afford to lose.
Invest if you have the ability to hodl long term < this ability can gain you much more hopefully.

As of now the price of bitcoin continue decreasing and this time the price is 6500 dollars and I think it's beyter ot buy bitcoin now because they have possible after few hours or days only it will recover again and back again at 7000 dollars or maybe 8k dollars this month so don't waste opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin even the price is very high even it's decrease for sure it will increase again.

Better to act fast, we have seen trends about the price recovering in a very short span of time. If it dip a little more and you already bought some, don't worry because sooner or later you will gain profit just be patient enough and don't panic.

Yes go buy now at $6,500 cos' it won't go lower than that. Learning from the past, correction like this oftenly happened to bitcoin, if i'm not mistaken at the rate of $4000, but see now, the price increase utnil the recent ath which is $7500, this correction is just a normal thing

Even though right now the price has already grown to $6700 and we're seeing a considerable amount of bounce back in the bitcoin price i would still think that it's a great to buy in some cheap coins still. The fact is that BCH got pumped hard and when it gets dumped, BTC will probably go back up to its former glory.

This can be the best advice that I got it here...it is just akin to the saying 'mix and match' in the fashion sense or 'don't put your eggs in one basket' idea meaning that don't buy all of your Bitcoin at once. From $6,500, the price now is $6,700 so for those did bought at the dip congratulations to all of you. You guys have an easy 200 bucks of your lives, this is crypto and you don't have to wait for too much dip. Sometimes our expectations are beyond the possibility that price may be good enough. What I'm thinking right now is that $6,000 is a good floor price but the boundary with $6,500 is much better.

I think the price is kept reducing in the market, so the best option kept them at 6500$ because may there is a huge chance that the price of Bitcoin will increase in the market fastly later.

The price may continue to fall a little bit, but if I were you I'd buy at least some now in the mid-6000s. A lot of the drop from low 7000s to mid 6000s was just the pump on the pump and dump coin Bitcoin Cash. Once it dumps in a few days most of that money will be transferred back to Bitcoin. I think most likely bitcoin will just trade sideways for a bit, with ups and downs, until it is ready to move to 8000 and beyond in the next few weeks.

I think bitcoin can go to lower around 6000$ Because of the segwit2x cancelation and the new hype Bitcoin cash is the real and better bitcoin.

I will wait for around 5k. But if wind turns back to rise than i think buy over 7k is better options. I will not buy betweeen 5500-6990$

i suggest to wait instead of  buying now adays cuase bitcoin value as of now is to expensive and we cannot speculate if this scenario can give us profit cause maybe theres a chance that bitcoin will fall because of its volatility.  So much better to wait when bitcoin value fall instead of buying right now cause its to hard to trust bitcoin value . I made a quick test on Kraken anyway. Buying 1 BCH from & to BTC. It took like 10 attempts & several minutes. When it's gonna dump there's no way this is bearable.
& there aren't many other platforms that support BCH for europeans.

Bitcoin value now is rapidly decreasing of value, so I think it's better if we buy in small amount. Because if we buy bitcoin in high amount of cost we can't says when they are increasing again.

Right now, I think the best option to do is just wait, seems like it will go down by a lot and prices will even reach back to $5,500 probably. Maybe invest your bitcoins on other altcoins for now like DOGE which is really low. I've done so and invest probably about half a bitcoin on DOGE since it has been low for the past weeks and has even reached an all time low. Probably it will pump to 120 sats again in the next few weeks.

i suggest wait a little bit because bitcoins value can still go lower due to the fact that fork has now been cancelled, thats why the value of bitcoin thesedays are now slowly decreasing but its up to you , if you cannot wait then you can always buy it anytime as long as you have a capital and wont care or regret if what will be the bitcoins value on the next day.

Here is the thing, being that I'm a noob, I couldn't figure out how to buy BCT for USD. Looked into different options and many people on here didnt recommend using Kraken.

The Bitcoin value went down to $5800 today but the exciting part is that it started to recover and it it right now  $6550. I think everyone should have buy it at as lower as $5800 today.
You have advised to buy a small amount of BTC which is up to some extent right to be safe but I am fond of affordability, if someone has the purchase power to buy in bulk then it's good. This price call of bitcoin is just for the time being. In long run we know the only leading coin is bitcoin. It with give you even more profit what you expect in the current situation.

No one will give you advice. You must learn to make such decisions yourself. I think that now you can buy bitcoin in order to sell in a few years. But I do not call on anyone to do this.

Not sure if at the current moment it would be a smart choice storing the newly purchased bitcoins onsite, or withdrawing them immediately. Some sites have technical trouble like Kraken. Withdrawals can get difficult.

I buy bitcoin whenever it drops atleast $500 because I know for sure after a week or two it will increase to more than $1000, that's good enough for an investor like me who do not have much capital, with this earnings you can start buying again when the price drops or invest some in altcoin, there's a lot of way to earn in bitcoin you just need to be patience and wise.

I don't think that it will have a lower market value since it is now beginning to climb its way up at this moment. So you better invest and buy Bitcoin now because surely after few days, it will be again expensive and it will be an advantage if you will invest at this moment. Its always been a question but who knows the exact answer regarding to this as we do have our own interpretations regarding in what would be the fate of bitcoin, the only matters is how we believe from this investment and how far we are looking if we will just deal with it in a short period of time maybe waiting for some more downfall would be much profitable but if we are aiming for long term its always the best time to buy no matter how much would be the value as bitcoin will keep on growing as time passed by.

If the current bitcoin price trends continues, bitcoin might go up and will pass the $7000 again unless there is upcoming events that will prevent its price from skyrocketing like future hardforks.
