Title: Good exchange with low fees & Tx
Post by: curr3ncytr4d3r on November 10, 2017, 11:49:30 PM
Anyone knows a good exchange that does not charge those insane withdrawal fees? I wanted to send a few cents to another wallet to test but I cannot get it exchanged and not back because of the high TX fee.

I thought that digital currencies were fast and cheap but it looks like a normal wire is cheaper and faster... ;-). I probably did not find the good exchange. anyone advise?

thx!

fees depend on network congestion. right now fees are so high because there are more than 90.000 unconfirmed transactions. You can use low fees but it'll take a few days

yeah. but if I send the money to the exchange for 0.00000021 (it takes a few minutes) and they want to send it back for 0.01 there is something wrong.

You could use Bitstamp. They currently cover the complete transaction fee for Bitcoin withdrawals:
https://www.bitstamp.net/fee_schedule/

This works even with really miniscule amounts, because they batch their withdrawals. However,
you should keep in mind that it doesn´t really make sense to send a few
cents worth of BTC, because one day you probably want
to transfer the small amount out of your personal wallet again and this could prove to be very
difficult with the current fees. As of now many "dust balances" are completely unspendable and
will never be if fees continue to stay at the current level or rise even more in the future.

TX is higher now because of massive transaction happening right now, theres an issue with uncorfirmed transactions and delays of transactions like it is a clogged door with a bunch of people entering. That might lose your funds, keep monitoring to it.

The BTC transaction fees will stay high for the foreseeable future! Until the network expands the size of each block to at least 2mb, we will continue witnessing the rising fees and slower confirmations. Bitcoin is a big gamble these days, paying above average fee doesn't always guarantee fast confirmation. In some instances it takes weeks to get your transaction confirmed.. SO yea, wire is faster and might even be cheaper.. hehe Consider paying with ripple, its cheap and instant.
