I want your inputs rrgarding this guys so that I could understand further what will happen to dogecoin in 2020.

If you are going to hold it for the long term it would depend on how long that actually means and how much you are going to put down on the position. I would say that it might go up some because there has been some hype about it on tradingview and a few crypto tweets but I would say that there are better places to put it in. ZEN ETH just to name a few. If you arent going to play margins with doge I would say don't do it. If you aren't day trading I would suggest to put it in the higher market cap coins that you can afford and see where it goes from there. If you need anything holler at me homie. Do your research and when you do go in just tell yourself what your position is and how long its gonna be and weather the storms. Good luck! :P

most people say that dogecoin is a joke coin and totally worthless because it has an unlimited supply and peope are keep on dumping it because they can easily get it or mine it therefore it is hard to expect that its value can increase or pump on the future.

I am planning to invest maybe a few hundred dollars and hold it for maybe 3 years if the coin still had value that time. Lol. This could be worth the risk someday but In Gods time my questiin will be answered :)

Less sure, but what's wrong if trying.. Until 2020 it seems there is still a possibility to get a profit, small or big profit or loss.. I myself haven't really be sure about that. I can only suggest not to investing too much in it, best of luck to you buddy!.

I don't see a single reason why dogs will grow. Technically they are not used anywhere. Since the summer the price fell by 90%. The truth is, most altcoins have also slipped significantly. I think it's risky to invest in such project where technology and virtually no benefits. Even such an impressive and interesting project as Stratis is already half a year is not growing what can I say about the dogs.

My question would be, why Dogecoin? I think there are many other currencies that are priced similarly low, however have a much better outlook than Dogecoin. If I was the one investing, I would look at the technologies behind each of the coins. Do they have something novel? Do they have something worth investing in? Similar to stocks, I think it's best to invest in something you truly believe in. Next, I would look at their supply. Dogecoin essentially has an unlimited supply. Anything with an unlimited supply will lose value over time. Last, I would look at the demand. In my personal opinion, Dogecoin does not have significant demand. All of these things and many more will play into the price of Dogecoin in the future. These are just my opinions, but whatever it is that you decide, I wish you the best of luck!

Only got big due to hype and offers nothing substantial to differentiate itself from other coins. Would get rid of whatever you're holding while still worth something.

I don't think doge will climb back up even if 2020, too much supply right now and unlimited supply will make it lose it's value in a few years and the hype regarding the doge meme itself already died. I don't think the community behind it will keep standing behind the dying project.

This is also my thoughts. Many including me has already bailed out and not getting back to dogecoin. And as of now its failing so it doesn't make sense to hold on it till 2020 because today it already failed. It was hype before just like any coins, but once its get quite, it will be hard to make a comeback. Although there are many gambling sites that still accepts doge so maybe that's the reason why it is still alive today.

Dogecoin is good for daily use and having a laugh, not so much for an investment so it depends on what you want to use it for. Assuming it's an investment, I'd say get out and switch to a different altcoin.

What do you mean by win or fail? Doge will not get much value, too much coins. As the value of the boom will rise upward + optional pumps.

There are no reason dogecoin will big famous. I think this coin is only "a tool" for margin trading.

I chose doge versus the other cheap crypto because I think it stil haw its potential to boom. Thats in my iwn opinion. Currently the supply is overflowing thats why I would like to invewt just maybe few hundred dollars. We will never know what lies ahead for doge in the future, but Im willing to take the risk. Remember when it was hitting more than hundred sats few months ago? It is like a diamond in the rough and what makes it even more special is that it is not yet that popular. It might take some time for it to reach its true value at least I will be there when time comes. I will revive this post on 2020 to update you guys.

As you can see, most replies don’t believe it is a good coin to invest. The thing is, it is just one coin among other hundreds, it has been around for a while and it doesn’t have any characteristics that makes us think it will win in 2020, rather the opposite.

Anyway, you have to make your own decisions when investing, but try to read as much information about the particular asset you are going to invest before you do it.

it proves that doge coin is a coin that is able to survive despite continuing ups and downs, and now the doge coin is back in the question of its future. I think by the year 2020 the doge coin will again find its enchantment.

"Dogecoin Believers" a funny title for a just-for-fun currency holder.
Honestly, I'm a fun person but I'm sure Dogecoin's value will not rise even after a decade.
Unless people will actually use it, for example: Trading Memes.

I'm still holding 100DOGE just in case.

Doge I think one altcoin is good for fast transactions and also move bitcoin from one market to another market, because many are using, I'm sure one day the price of doge will rise more than yesterday's highest price at the pump.

I am not fan of Dogecoin. But everybody knows about doge this coin very lower growth coin. Those who hold dogecoin for many months do not profit i think. But in 2020 is very log time so may be doge coin will be success.

Why Doge?because it's cheap, but there are so many tokens with similar price never been well-pumped yet.Better invest in a few of them and wait-next year one or two will certainly give you fat profit   8)

Well it may win. It is the best cheap coin out there but you must first know you are investing into bottle of water or something. Or I may even say its air of soda or something. That value would only increase with regular pump or market cap explosion.

still difficult to predict for dogecoin whether it can win or fail, because the current price is still at the lowest point. maybe there should be some action from dev for this doge coin can give a very good price in some time to come.

I think doge will disappear within 2-3 years. There are a lot of people who no longer trust doge coin anymore. Doge has no special events and at least the update versions update. There are a lot of gambling sites for doge payments that bring in a lot of gamblers everyday and there are a lot of doge coin present that is more than 111 billion doge with this kind of coin I think it will be hard to get high prices.

Currently the cryptocurrency has not stopped falling for a long time reaching historic lows. The main reason is that dogecoin has not been updated for 18 months, although there is also growing industry competition, which does not bode well for its longevity.
The volume traded has also fallen drastically since the peak in popularity, according to CoinMarketCap and dogecoin mining is no longer profitable, not only because the price of dogecoin has fallen, but also the mining reward has fallen.
therefore it would not be a good currency to invest!

Honestly I don't think dogecoin can ever become like bitcoin, if you look at its market cap it cannot grow too much already and it is such a struggle for them even if they got a good team with good development because to many it is just considered as a joke coin.

Dogecoin will definitely fail it has no use case. it is giant bubble and ponzi to me, but if you like the doge coin you can buy and bag hold some of them for the rest of your life.

what do you mean by win ?
dogecoin already abandoned by the developer, which mean there will be no more progress with it.
with that alone we can see it'll never achieve anything in the future.
but it's the first meme coin in this cryptocurrency and mane people like dogs,
that is why this coin keep exist and survived for this long.
it became another pump and dump coin,
nothing more than that i believe,or i might be wrong in here ?

All valid points, but the unique thing about Dogecoin is its rabidly faithful community... and I would say, its surprising resilience over the years despite the lack of serious developments for two years. It has almost been a year since the last announcement was spread about the rehabilitation of Doge, so I still have that faith. I hold perhaps less than 1% of all my crypto in Doge. More like sentimentalism than anything else, but I really don't mind every time someone asks out of the blue, if I don't mind getting paid in Doge. It'll be around in 2020 for sure, and almost certainly more valuable than today. Perhaps not even $2, but that still qualifies as a hedge.

I think it's Hodl.

Dogecoin is as real as bitcoin. I dont think that you shoul put any money on cryptocurrencies but if you want gamble then I would recomemend buying ethereums. Dogecoin is great coin but it is just taken from air. Price is ridigilus and i dont think that it will raise a lot.

The great thing about trading / investing is that you never truly know what will happen, so I can't say your view is wrong. I think it's still a puzzle to predict dogecoin in 2020 but what is certain in this year (2018) is the golden year for dogecoin, where the other coins continue to experience a decline but dogecoin continue to increases.
DOGE managed to give back its profit to its holder by 9%, and this is an incredible profit considering that other coins are being red-zoneed. The good news is that DOGE transactions will be supported by Yahoo Finance (one of the world's largest financial-based sites) in collaboration with Tradelt, will use dogecoin transactions directly on the application. Maybe Dogecoin is ready to climb to the 10th rank of CoinMarketCap.
