Hello guys, I am curious to know what are all your top 3 alt coins to invest in?

I'll start with mine:

1) NEO

2) Dash

3) Waves

Cryptocurrencies are in the unstable period now. Therefore, it is better to invest in established and credible projects like Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, as they are less likely to fall in price.

Yes, that is true. fluctuations in the value of a credible project such as ethereum will never fall far in comparison like waves.

altcoins are unsatable today so dont invest too much,the market is still bearish because of the forks on and off.

yeah that's true, but of you believe the coin that bought and hold it for a long term even if you dont have enough a technical analysis skills, you can make a good profit. just hodl.

But not sure about the waves platform caused by so many garbage, zombie or even dead coin in there, and many people are not interested in using the garbage platform from the waves developer itself. Lisk platform may better than waves.

I think your opinion is the same as me, 3 altcoin is very good for investment and more expensive to sell.

Quite a tough work to choose only 3 altcoins but I'll give a try:
a) RPX (ICO on NEO)
b) Spectre (before ICO, dividends)
c) NEO (dividends until booming)

They're top cryptocurrencies so I put my trust on them because I can't afford Bitcoin today.

Nice stash you got there. The top altcoin in my stash is waves, I am heavily invested in this because I believe that it is undervalued, when the planned updates are released, it would be one of the fastest block chain ever existing other than litecoin with segwit in it. The second altcoin that I am heavily invested as well is OmiseGo. Like the previous, this coin has a lot of potential IMO. Last but not the least, I hold bitshares and is one of the coins I am heavily invested with.

I like Neo and Dash from your list. Currently, my list of top 3 altcoins to invest are Neo, OMG and XMR.

In my opinion best altcoin to invest is ETH, DASH and WAVES. Because these altcoin good in fundamental that will increase the demand. And also team founder behind it is professional and jenius who always looking for idea to more development the project so that the coin become more popular in crypto world.

If you ask about the best Altcoin then I would say that Etherum, waves and XMR are the best for me. Altcoin has a good prospect and is also seen to produce an extraordinary thing in the future. I do not consider altcoin a short-term investment, because I consider that Altcoin takes time to grow and the long-term investment options I choose. I do not experience panic sell when Altcoin price decreases because I believe that when we are patient and smart to see the situation then we will be able to benefit in the future.

On my opinion the altcoins that are really good to have are ethereum because of its value.And also bitcoin for its price also and its value.Then I would like to have waves also for i do not have it for now.

Waves, DASH, ZCASH are for hold for me. I also try to get more IOTA and ripple, but I find their actual price high and I'll wait for another correction wave.

My personal list right after november 2017: 1) bitcoin after problems are solved and price drops. 2) ethereum as its price didn't hit all time high still, i think its next to pump. 3)omisego price is still cheap for long term.

1 - XBY - This is a shitcoins that the developer has left behind. But because of a great developer it has bought. The XBY collapsed and made the rack from 1 sats per price to 1,500 sats. Many people are rich here and support until now.

MNX - MNX is the new altcoins that have been done in their ICO and it has been successful because of the tightening of security that has been delayed by the exchangers so the result is that of the investors' perspective its up to many who were angry and accused of scammers. But now we see that because the developer's promise is fulfilled, it costs $ 10.

for myself there are 3 very good coins for investment such as ADX, PPT and currently CTR. because I have benefited from 3 coins and it feels very good if for investment.

Needless to say, I think it's dash, eth and XZC.I'm also holding dash, eth and XZC.I think that mixing dish encryption is a promising development direction of blockchain, so I will pay attention to the altcoin of this subject and invest it.

I've been hearing a lot of good things about IOTA, Qtum and OmiseGo. I still need to do my research on them, so I'm not really recommending then right now, but I'm suggesting you should look at them as well. IOTA is a really advance coin, being quantum resistant already, and Qtum has a really strong team behind them, as opposed to only one guy developin NEO. Anyway like I said, I still need to do my research on them, so if you guys already have an opinion on these coins, let me know.

Waves, Ethereum and Diamond for sure

There are actually a lot of Altcoins on the market but having the best choice really matters for a safer and better profit. I usually choose coins that are listed as top five on the CoinMarketCap so I'll be planning to buy and go for any of these choice in the future if ever I have money to invest are Ethereum, Bitcoincash, Ripple, Litecoin or Dash. My first three Altcoin holdings are Ethereum, Litecoin and the undervalued Dogecoin but had it all converted to fiat money already including my Bitcoin holdings due to an emergency. I also have plans to hold tokens and fortunately I have one already and soon there will be an additional one which is an ongoing ICO bounty on my signature and will hopefully be in exchanges by end January hope it'll be successful.

I chose newly listed coins and have a good future.

In the past, I have invested in about 5-6 different types of altcoins. But now, I've dropped and focused on only two altcoins that I think are the best. The first is ETH, definitely it. ETH is not only attractive to me but many other investors choose it. It has a good foundation, application of modern technology and especially the value of profit is also very good. The second is Dash, just like you. I find out and see that it can grow. I'm also paying attention to WAVES, as a new special phenomenon, I will probably choose it as my third altcoin.

My top 3 altcoins to invest in right now would be stratis Stratis and STRATIS.  The Stratis team is currently working hard to release the Breeze wallet and Masternodes on mainnet before the end of this year.  There's a good chance Breeze might come out later this month. 

I like cheap coins that do not yet grow very much or which are now not expensive. Of course the top 10-20 as here many advise is a good option, but I will offer my own - CTR / CND / TNT. It's just really not expensive coins on which I think I can make money.  I'm experimenting with them) I Also like everything like Etherum, Monero, OmiseGO, waves, Ardor.

It is difficult to choose only 3 altcoins. My pick will be ETH, NEO and OMG.

Neo and Omg have strong and hardworking development team. And ETH because of its user base and smart contract feature.

1. Neo: Don't know why this fuss is up about this coin, but hey I'm on on the train ride.
2. Powr: just concluded ICO. I was impressed by the performance of the team and the great product idea. Watch out for this coin next year.
3. ETH: Has been around for a while now and shows no signs of leaving very soon.

In my list are waves, ethereum and hmq because these will bring profit in my portfolio. Ethereum will gives the best profit even I hold it for long term. Waves has a lot more to offer and their platform I believe will develop and the price will soon will increase.

I will agree with the author of the post — I also choose DASH and NEO. However, I would better add into this list Monero and Ethereum Classic. As for Bitcoin Cash, which shows now really fantastic growth… I’d rather wait.

I had really high hopes for TNT and have some myself, but not sure where it's headed to be honest. I think the team is solid, good partnerships, ok social media presence and updates ... but then again, not really seeing anything so good on it lately.

XSPEC, ONIONs, and waves. All of these will have good rise in value in the upcoming months.

If to invest I will choose a very potential coin and price movement is not too significant, but still stable. I will choose Ethereum, Doge, and coin which is expected to compete with BTC that is BitcoinCash.

I don't understand why everyone invests in these three. Are you looking for large returns or good 'fundamentals'?
Fundamentals would matter if the coin actually represented a part of the company. Yet, it doesn't. It represents nothing.

I would highly recommend looking at what coins are on the verge of popularity, rather than look at the coins that are in the forefront

Many potential altcoin now in crypto market and it is very interested, but now i'm holding monero, ethereum, litecoin and waves. But the most i liked is ethereum the second placer of bitcoin price now. I know this altcoin have a potential in crypto world nowadays.

I prefer to waves, I think waves have a great chance of becoming bigger the next year. because waves have technology that is not inferior to eth. that's why I save a lot of waves.

These coins are already on top altcoins after Bitcoin so when you're going to invest, surely you'll get good profit, specially today, Bitcoin Cash is almost there to replace Bitcoin as the most expensive coin in the planet.

In my opinion good coins to invest in would be those coins that have been around for a while but which may not yet have hit the big time. Your coins should definitely have a stable and active community, more than one person on the development team, have an actual plan for the coin (besides speculation), and provide incentive for people to buy and hold the coin.

With all that in mind, here are my top three favorite coins to accumulate:

1. Diamond (DMD)
2. DNotes (NOTE)
3. NEM (XEM)

Waves sold 100M in ICO and now they're the boss, they have no obligations to develop it because they have already everything they wanted, if Ξ changes to POS I'm sure people will dump it, not worth it, ETC is promising to stay POW, I'd invest on ETC and not Ξ.
DASH is fine if you mine and sell to earn profit, the only coin I'd invest is BTC because despite all the high fees and slow network, it's the best coin, why? it has the biggest community.

The same with me. I choose these three altcoins either. As for Ethereum, I am even sure that Buterin will share soon with everybody his new project that will let ETH growing more. Probably, this winter will be a cool surprise for all ETH holders.

It's hard to choose three, but considering the probable RoI, my final choices would be:

Me i rather invest in this 3 Ethereum,Ripple,Genesis this 3 has a very leverage and idealistic proposal when it comes to project proposal,they totally made there coin to be on top of the list when it comes to project development.

Right now i've thinking if im going to invest in Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero. Because when i do research about this three altcoins and it give me shock about each there value, also the investment and its returns to its investors in less than 3 months.

There is a lot of Alts that I went to invest and that already invested in, my top 3 is: PPT is the one, XFCCOIN then wabi, all of these alts have a working product and this is the first you should look before invest.

IOTA, ETH and Bitcoin is probably the best diversification you can achieve with the top coins. They are still pretty dependent on Bitcoin performance, though.

Anyone has thoughts on IOTA ? Can it be used as a hedge to blockchain based coins ?

I just learned about NEOGAS, where when you save a NEO coin off of the market it accrues another crypto (NEOGAS). I am just wondering if there are other coins that do this kind of thing as well? If so, are there any that you see a future with?

I asked this because my 3 altcoins should have this feature!

I've noticed that a bunch of people in this forum don't like IOTA because they took nearly two years before launching their coin.

I like and I prefer Waves, Monero and OMG. These are fresh and speedy growing currencies. For example in a summer the prices makes the records. Now its growing quite moderate but I confident in them.

I have read all the replies. Why are a lot of people are proposing Monero and Waves to invest in? What are the key points to look in to these coins for investment?

I think ethereum and waves are the best ones of the all altcoins. And also, I think the king of the all coins is bitcoin. In my opinion, ethereum and bitcoin can be really good choices for long term investments.

Almost all altcoins now are effected by the bitcoin increasing value, that's the reality that we need to accept it. So if you have any altcoin there in your wallet, you do nothing but to wait until time comes that it goes up again. However, my top 3 coins for me was Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Waves only.

If i have to choose 3 i would say ETH NEO and POWR

NEO because i see a possible grow to eth level
POWR because its a really good project

But i would say choose only 3 is not fair there are also RPX, PAY, PLAY and BQX very high recommended for me

1. Litecoin, it is the silver of the Cryptocurrencies, basically Bitcoin but not overpopulated.
2. NEO, it has the smart contracts and a lower price as Ethereum. Could make a big jump in price if China decides to recall their ban on ICOs.

Hmm. While taking a look at the SUB chart on coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/substratum/#charts it really looks like a coin that would be making one some good profit. I have never heard of this coin until now though but no matter what, coins like this should make one to thread carefully. The market is huge and you would not want to end up with a coin that would not really give you so much. Looking at the market cap though and the chart activities, it seems more like something good for short term trade.

At this stage, I really would choose Waves first, NEO second and then Monero. I really do not know why I have to choose them in that category, but if I am to invest in the three of them right now, I will still have to do it as an equal share cause no one knows what the future holds for these guys but they seem very promising and I would not want to waste the opportunity for profit they would bring.

Icon icx is one coin that will definitely make a good investment. They are still on kyc but they have their blockchain and they are referred to as the neo of Korea

Secondly, Ethereum is great as well, and third one should be a privacy coin, so Monero is closing my list of my favourite alts. Yes, these coins are good for investment, but they are not new. And there is unlikely to be a huge price increase. Quite a stable investment with a small profit. I increasingly look at new coins and buy them on the ICO. They have more chances to show much X. How WePower for example.

I invest in NEO, XEM, STRAT. These 3 coins have a great future in my opinion. They will grow, but it takes time.

For this year I am very interested in the 3 coins below because I think these three coins are likely to rise in price in the middle of this year, well that's my own prediction although maybe not 100% correct but what is wrong to share it here.
1. etherium> coins are very likely to rise high because the issues I get in this year eth will rise close to $ 2000
2. Dogecoin> cheap coin now and I'm happy with this quick transaction with this coin

Ethereum is a must HODL for the next year. Time will prove I'm right on this, I wouldn't be surprised if it will pass btc market cap by the end of 2018 since it has more use than BTC. Other nice project is vechain, the only thing that scars me the most is the lack of liberty in trading and accessing this market from China. This could be a serious problem in the long run. Other wonderful coin I believe in is NANO, extremely unlucky as the recent events tell. But it has a lot of potential for real world adoption.
