Title: Will Bitcoin price come back up?
Post by: smartbitcoininvestor on November 11, 2017, 07:44:34 PM
After the recent string of events involving the cancellation of SegWit2x and pumping of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) by miners, Roger Ver, South Korean exchanges and others, I have a feeling this is just noise to scare off short-term investors and for institutions to buy in at good prices. I am still confident that Bitcoin will hold strong as long as the core developers exist and SegWit2x is in the plans. We may even see the lightning network come to fruition sometime in 2018.

With the Bitcoin Gold (12th) and Bitcoin Cash (13th) forks coming in the next two days, I predict quite a bit of movement within the market capitalizations of all these coins & altcoins.

How low do you think the price of Bitcoin will drop before it goes back up again?

Wait for it a for 2-3 days bitcoin will be back again. Most of the alt coins are now are going healthy so maybe the flow of bitcoin came from bitcoin cash is getting back to it's respective coins. And this is now profit taking again for bitcoin cash traders, just keep on waiting and eventually the price of bitcoin will be back again. That's why holding for a long term basis is much better.

I think it takes only few days after the dumping we see again the price of bitcoin back at 7k dollars and if that happen we can make more profit and for sure we see the price of 10k dollars in december 2017.

I am sure that it will happen. After the cancellation of the fork, whales have started a new game with Bitcoin Cash and miners are also helping them. It won't last long. Soon they will take their profit and everything will go back to normal.

People make too much of a problem out of nothing but a normal happening. Bitcoin has had its time in the very short term, and now that people are liquidating the coins they bought just for the purpose of having more split coins, the market takes a break. It's not a big deal. Bitcoin Cash is still an obsolete altcoin, and that will not change. The only thing that coin thrives on is the very wealthy entities that are now laughing at how people are buying up their expensive coins. Don't pay much attention to these short term shifts -- we can't always expect Bitcoin to keep increasing beyond the point of this market being overheated.

Probably bitcoin would at least get below 6200$ before it goes back up again. The only question is that when will it start going back up again? When will they stop manipulating bch and take profit? My prediction in this matter is that they will stop it within a week when they have gained a hefty sum of profit and start going back to btc or other alts again, causing price rise and actions on altcoins who are currently stable ATM.

Almost all Bitcoin holders are hoping for the same thing. We are indeed expecting that this turbulence would be over soon and that after all this distress Bitcoin can actually come out stronger and more robust for the future. There are dynamics within the cryptocurrency market that can sometimes be hard to understand but the underlying theme is always been 'greed' and we can see the forces working right now just for their own business interests regardless of what may come.

I think bitcoin will be back or will rising its value by this upcoming days. Because of this segwit cancellation btc price drops so many are having a high hopes to have the btc price recover. If this will happen that btc price many can earn huge profit.

Definitely the price of bitcoin will come back upward, the price of bitcoin will take a dip between $5000 to $5500. This dip will take 2 days and probably by Monday it will rise up again. This is not a big deal for an experienced long term investor, while my friends (first time investors) are happily waiting this dip to happen so that they can buy bitcoin to make an entry for bitcoin investment.

What an amazing time to buy Bitcoin. I know I had a little fiat I was saving for this exact moment and I'm happy to increase my stack by 20% more than if we were sitting at the ATH. That's a win in my books! I don't understand why people complain about this fluctuation. It's great for me!

It's only natural for the bitcoin price to go back down because it's only natural the price goes up and there are times that it goes down because remember bitcoin price may be at it's low today but bitcoin prices didn't go up just so suddenly its step by step there are times when people believe that it will eventually go down for good but look where at its now it may be at 12th in the ranking but for sure 1 week or a few more days later it's price will eventually surge again.

$ 5200 will probably be the lowest price and will be back at the pump when it will step in December, but I am very surprised to see the rise in the price of bitcoin cash significantly ,, this is very shocking market., Which I question now, why dogecoin not go up? ? if we see altcoin market almost everything goes up even there is more than 10%

It could go lower than $6000 because of that altcoin bitcoin has dropping value like crazy. Crisis is now at hand and maybe buy some bitcoin while it is still lower some plus value wont hurt is it? For me it is worth a try.

Someone is aware about this message dated from 30 july 2017 ?  :

https://pastebin.com/n0aGBMQr

"Traders, certain information has come to my attention that is causing me grave concerns and i feel it is my duty to warn each and every one of you.

We all know the scaling drama has caused a huge rift, resulting in bitcoin forking into the soon to be "Bitcoin Cash".

I know many have large holdings and savings in bitcoin, and are 'hodlers' and will never sell, so when the selling starts, you may lose everything if you don't also sell.

Gentlemen, this is certaintly not going to be gentlemen.

Certain information has come to light from back room channels, sources i cannot disclose ~ even writing this post will probably reveal my source - but i feel by gods will, I must warn you all.

Selling is coming. Selling the likes of which hasn't been seen since MtGox era.
Already as i type this, battleships of bitcoin are being shorted on all major exchanges.

Gentlemen, The enemy, the big blockers, have colluded and joined forces. The chinese, Jihan & co have put together a plan to replace bitcoin with bitcoin cash.

The plan goes like this:
Chinese miners (f2pool, antpool etc etc) have organised with major exchanges (via/huobi/okcoin etc) to support and launch bitcoin cash.
Initially they will let everyone who wants to sell, sell.
Once the coin has bottomed out, and everyone who wanted to sell has sold, they [chinese miners/jihad/chinese exchanges] will begin accumulating lots and lots of bitcoin cash.
They will then begin to pump the price  to around 0.1 BCC/BTC - 10%
The big pools won't mine it ~ they will let the smaller pools see the returns from mining this expensive, but low difficulty coin and start mining it.
Later, the larger pools will join, and as we know, jihad has ALOT of hashing power, their plan is for bitcoin cash to have more hashing power than bitcoin ~ and lets be honest, once t he chinese move over, that is pretty much it.
Around this time, the 'hard fork' section of segwit 2x is not going to happen ~ it never was - Bitcoin cash will then be seen as the original NYA coin..
At that point in time, Bitcoin cash will be on all major chinese exchanges, possibly some western exchanges aswell, and have majority hashing power. Western companies & other merchant providers (BitPay - @Spair) etc - paid off by bitmain etc will go along with the new bitcoin cash narrative and will push for the 'bitcoin cash' to be called 'bitcoin' on all their platforms, leaving only coinbase et all which will then be the odd ones out..

Now comes the scary part, The old bitcoin, the bitcoin we know and love, is going to get DESTROYED.
What determines a coins success ? It's market cap.
Big old school blockers and miners are going to dump bitcoin back to the bottom, they will take literally billions and billions of dollars out of bitcoin. They will use the money to fund the marketing, and development, or 'bitcoin cash' - Think, Bitcoin core - FIRED.  Think - forbes article, "why bitcoin miners and companies are moving to bitcoin cash" - think - "Why the market is chosing bitcoin cash as bitcoin not bitcoin core"  - They wil lsay the market has spoken, that people have voted with their money.

Right now, massive huge shorts are being built, already on finex, shorts are at 32k - not seen since $200 these kinds of numbers of shorts, and its climbing, all the t ime, consistently, they have ALOT of coins to short.

The most painful kind of selling, is where it never bounces and if you remember MtGox from $1000 to $70, you'll remember what no bounces feels like ~ and I can tell you. This won't be any better.

Good luck all, remember - fair warning.

Below is I grabbed, i also have some slack and telegram logs, I will sort them out later when i get back, i just want to confirm what I can safely disclose first for my own protection. "

Oh man volatility is a bitch.
But. I think BTC now is like anoy other asset.
If it reached 7800 we may be sure it will do it again.People have more confidence to trade it till this price range.
This is awesome opportunity to make money.Buy low and sell high.

correct volatility actually was good so you could buy bitcoins for much cheaper price , Bitcoin was just have this price correction and when it recovers we could expect it to uptrend upto 9000 usd and those who buy today will certainly have a nice profits ! the more you buy today the greater the profit tomorrow !

but the correction price is too deep and no one predict this or at least we are not sure that the correction price will become today. but i think as always bitcoin will recover again after this crisis and with bitcoin cash in the second position at coinmarketcap, the name of bitcoin will leading crypto currency world and bitcoin itself will be reach the glory in future.

There are many who start another drama related to bitcoin after one another just trying to crash BTC price at some point but nothing gonna affect it.So just relax this will end soon and will give pump to Bitcoin price and we hope to see the price to $10000 by end of 2017 .Don't get panic just believe on the power of bitcoin.

Yes, all these are all just temporary hurdles and definitely bitcoin will bounce back to its track of getting appreciated in coming days. I never consider those forks can do anything against the growth bitcoin systems. Probably the increasing tx fees of bitcoin transactions will be a worry for gaining continuous support from crypto adopters.

But we can say to maintain the dominance of bitcoins, we must solve tx hassles with a concrete and permanent way. Otherwise these silly forks may sum up as a big competitors.

YES bitcoin price will come back sooner without knowing it. I still believe in bitcoin despite of what is happening such as dropping its price then bitcoin cash is all the way up. Bitcoin price is still number one even though it is dropping. It happened before then when it recovered it is very high. 10,000$ prediction is still possible, many days left before December lots of things will happen, it will easily recover how much it drops. It is now 6074$ , 1000$ already drop. Time to buy before it recover. One of the things I have learned when I enter bitcoin is that "Nothing is permanent".

Definitely it will, We just have to wait until this stupid attack of big whales will be done, then it will back to normal, I just see pumping BCH will just go to a big dip. The support of one person on Bitcoin means a lot on the Community that believes on the future of Bitcoin.

Yes ofcourse bitcoin is too powerful to be down weak hands sell it. Because of segwit2x or upgrades the price when down and the afraid of losing it.

Once the transactions are good enough again and there's no more delay for sure everything will be fine and people that left bitcoin will be regretting it.

With the lightning network and SegWit2x still planned for the future, I only see Bitcoin becoming stronger as these new developments grow.

The LN will solve the problem of slow txn speeds which has been plaguing traders lately and would actually make Bitcoin Cash somewhat obsolete. I can see Bitcoin and Litecoin developing a stronger relationship to the point where Bitcoin will be used as an investment vehicle while Litecoin is used for instant transactions for food, clothing, etc. This could be a great solution to the current problem of high fees and slow payments in the long run.

well I think the reason Bitcoin drops is because of the cacellation of Segwit2x which means the hard fork will not be occuring at at block 494,784 which is good news. And  I think the value of Bitcoin will still regain its price in days or weeks time. After all it's just normal that the value of bitcoin always goes up and down.
