Title: I was almost fooled into selling my BTC for BCH - but look at the exchanges
Post by: frankbitcoin on November 11, 2017, 09:02:36 PM
don't be fooled.

Look at the exchanges.

nearly 36% of the transactions for BCH are coming out of the Korean exchange, Bithumb.

Isn't this the same exact thing that happened last time when BCH flew past $1200 and then dumped?

This is a very good point. There is not a global sell off of BTC into BCH. The price action of BCH is clearly coming from Asia. BTC is down less that 2% over 24 hours as I write this.

Exactly, I say this everywhere and I won't give up. Don't get fooled by some smart people!

They try to catch your free money and they're planning big things about the Money you hold in your pocket. I wonder how many people will cry when this fake bitcoin cash rally ends.

which means 65% isn't

BCH is  going to stick around and grow. Doesn't mean btc will decline but bch will gain in value as well

Yeah thats totaly true. i found out that there's a massive pump and dump going on. I read about a north-korean hack, but i'm not for sure if it's fake news. you should google it. but i believe this is just a short term trend.

don't know, if you are going to stick with your investments without trading is ok, but if you are a trader this situation trigger a lot of potential gains (and loss)

it could be wise to split part of you coins between the two, just in case

go all in with only one solution is not an optimal strategy

Very good info!
It also seems BTC receives alot of fud these days to encourage people in buying BCH.
Stay away from BCH if you dont want to get broke. Especially at this price!

Ethereum passed on market value. When will this shift take place?

Bitcoin Cash keeps rising close to 2000 USD. It's worth noting that it's something mostly based on speculation but still rather than just real world event. It's such ways that cryptocurrency markets function under. Some people will try to play it as markets are pricing in the neglect of the New York agreement but speculators know no better than speculating.

I totally agree with you. The fact that such a large part of its transaction value is made at bithumb let's me think it is pretty risky to jump into the current rally. When they sell again you're in trouble

So that is the reason with all the hype. Every bitcoincash followers are all claiming that it's going to be the king and replace bitcoin at the top but it just happened that only asians who made it pump and no other communities. They are really desperate to get tons profit with these bitcoincash scam.

If you look at the technicalities, BCH is these days a more interesting coin than BTC. Transaction fees, price development, politics around development, block size problems that are going on for more than 2 years, mining centralization... BTC has failed to address some serious problems for quite some time now. That's the technical bit, if you look from speculation perspective, BCH can give you much more gains than BTC (easier to accumulate more BCH and have higher price shoot-outs).
