Title: Is this some kind of FUD or true? Post by: jamesl22 on November 12, 2017, 01:56:11 AM Last night I casually checked in pastebin and stumbled upon this paste (https://pastebin.com/n0aGBMQr) which reads as follows:
Code: Traders, certain information has come to my attention that is causing me grave concerns and i feel it is my duty to warn each and every one of you. Whether it is some kind of market manipulation or a FUD, and although we should grasp it with a grain of salt, it is quite concerning to note such radical divide amongst fellow Bitcoiners. Bitcoin core developers should really come up with Lightning Network and a solution to the overall scaling sooner, before it's too late! Title: Re: Is this some kind of FUD or true? You do realize that literally anyone can post literally anything with zero filters or verification? Title: Re: Is this some kind of FUD or true? Although that "random" someone mentioned that they are going to provide proofs in coming times, which is why I'm gonna keep a close watch in it. Title: Re: Is this some kind of FUD or true? Post by: ruffles2016 on November 12, 2017, 08:07:56 AM It is definitely random creepy pasta theory, but it holds truthness level inside that lot of us deny. Bitcoin cash is pumped to replace bitcoin. Their main aim is this. And they might be successful. I personally dumped all my bitcoin cash and bitcoin to see fight in relaxed manner but I will never buy cash back again, I love one and only bitcoin even if its becoming bitcoin classic in our eyes.

Title: Re: Is this some kind of FUD or true? Post by: wxxyz on November 13, 2017, 02:26:43 PM The part that is the most shocking is the post date - July 30, right before the Bitcoin Cash split.
And check out this part: Quote Around this time, the 'hard fork' section of segwit 2x is not going to happen ~ it never was - Bitcoin cash will then be seen as the original NYA coin.. Everyone is excited the Nov 16 fork was cancelled - how did this guy know it 2 months ago? Crazy lucky prediction, or actually something planned and leaked?? Title: Re: Is this some kind of FUD or true? Post by: wxxyz on November 13, 2017, 02:28:39 PM Question: Is it possible to tell if that 'paste' was done by an anonymous user account or a logged in user? [it appears to be posted as 'a guest']
And can we tell if it's been updated/modified since the original date to look like a prediction that came true? Title: Re: Is this some kind of FUD or true?
