I had a limit order in at $5520 but I've just taken it off because the price is falling so quickly.   I want to increase my stash of BTC but want to be able to buy as much as possible.

If it goes through $5000 I think it could well go to 4300

Just don't buy because the price is falling however just wait until the bottom. You can buy bitcoin again after the price decrease stop and it indicate an uptrend. If you buy at, let us say $5520 and the price still decreasing you will money for sure. Unlike if you buy at uptrend.

It seems the BTC downtrend will stop when BTC and BCH prices are relative.
That's my guess.

I did bought some bitcoins at $5900 because I think price will start increasing in next few days when the whales start dumping their BCH. I doubt that bitcoin will go down below $5000 but I could be wrong though. Whatever happens but it's great to buy bitcoins when the price drops and you can get some cheap bitcoins as well.  

4000$ usd for me seems to be an attractive price so at this point I will try to buy something. If it won't get there I will just hodl because I don't have free money right now.
The only thing that I'm waiting for is the price correction of BCC. It supposed to be strong after such pump.

i think if bitcoin price get to the limit of 5500$ you should buy right away, as soon as you buy bitcoin, you may get the chance to earn profit in few days from now, bitcoin is rising back again, it is steadily rising to take back the place where it belong, bitcoin cash will surely be dumped in the future.

I can buy bitcoin around $ 4500 may be bitcoin prize slash down due to Bitcoin gold fork is postponed. I definetly buy bitcoin if my expectations is true in few days.

Bitcoin had gone way down to $5400 but now it has increased in price and swinging around $6000. This price is too good to buy now as I believe that this is the best price now. The dust will settle when the BCH race is over. People are buying and selling it in large volumes. The price is increasing rapidly and dumping slowly at the same time. The dump is not visible since the buy volume is high. It is also making BTC fluctuate in price. So now will be the best time to buy some BTC.

The current price now I think was a good time to buy some bitcoins ! If people will take advantage with bitcoin volatility then  we could expect a good profit in the coming months ! if the price will continue to drop I might wait up to $5000 usd and hold it on my hard wallet.

The bitcoin is on the dumping prices and yes this is the right time to buy bitcoin because this is just a good opportunity for us to get into the market of bitcoin since the majority of the people in the cryptocurrency market are busy dealing with bitcoin cash. I don't have a bitcoin so if it will fall down at $4,000 i will buy much as i can because if the value price correction is true then i believed it will continue to decrease until it will reach below $5,000. At first i dont believe that there is trully corrections event but after this happening, i dont think of any reason of the sudden fall down.

It is better to buy the bitcoin now it is around $6000 but today the price was dropped below $5500 but now it started to increase i hope the price will fall again so you have to buy now or the price will get higher soon.I bought my bitcoin when the price was around $6500 after that price was increased to  $7300 then it falls rapidly due to the growth of BCH but now the price of BCH started to decrease and bitcoin started to increase.

Everytime bitcoin touches 5K is a good buy time. That is already the current support of bitcoin. We cannot expect it to go down farther than 5K unless there is a major news that could fud bitcoin down. Even though bitcoin is back up to 6K again, I think there will still be another dump that could lead bitcoin down to 5K level.BCH pumpers are still strong and continuously trying to pull others to dump bitcoin and pump bch.

It is a good time for people to buy because i see it recovering in the next couple of days given the adoption rate globally because no matter how others dump, newbies will buy them up and that has been the trend that's keeping bitcoin up there and ahead of the others.

Again, what ever happens in the short term - day or months - bitcoin is immutable and safe in it's present state.   The only way this pretender BCH could actually win is if enough people complain to core and they do something that puts bitcoin at risk.   I certainly won't be asking for quick fixes from core.   The main thing is that bitcoin works and belongs to the people.   I can wait a year or two before I expect to pay for my coffee with it.

The best price would be in the range of 2500 - 3500. Recently there has been a downfall in the price. So it would be in your best interest to wait tell the price reaches the bottom, that is when you start stashing your BTC, as there won't be a high percentage of loses at your end as the price at the time of buying will be low.

Bitcoin hits $7000 already don't know what will happen in next . If bitcoin fall down again  I would love to buy some to hold it . I will prefer if the price become $ 2500 . ;) but may b now it would be quiet taught. But nothing is impossible in crypto world ;)

The prices may not go down to $3000 it may drop to $4900 to $4500 don't listen to FUD that creates FOMO to everyone that bitcoin will go dump so much I will buy for the price range that I've mentioned it is a great opportunity to those people who plans to buy but they are late because of the price trends and sudden dumps, anytime BCH will dump and that's the time BTC will pump so this is a great timing to buy bitcoin while it is affordable for everyone before it reach 10k.

According to your original order was reasonable, I think the btc price can not be reduced to $ 4k3. But if you bought btc at the time, I should congratulate you, the price has risen and that means you have made a profit in this investment.

At any price and if I have money.  Definitely it is important that you have money, extra money to buy bitcoins and which you are willing to risk.  And now that bitcoin price goes down it is better to buy.  Just take advantage its price and hopefully it goes up before the year ends.

There's $8000 on the horizon and i'm sure people will want to test the support of the last ATH. It hasn't really been tested we just pushed through and went down.

agreed on that! 4,3K level doesn't really seem possible to hit. If we come  back to original question. every level is good to buy when it comes to btc. you will never regret that.

The support level will be as much as 4k and after that it will explode and rise much bigger 8k $ still achievable in the next couple of months we are just in the part where corrections and whale are very active to make some downfall but believers will hold and will gain much bigger profits.

I sold all my BTC @7000, and I dont really care about new ATH. It's a risky game right now.

if lucky maybe I would go to $4000 or less but as of now I would really just try to earn it in different ways.

I'm still thinking on how low I should buy-in again. But maybe if it could go as low as $4000 again I will start buying again. I've converted bitcoin to my local currency when it is still around $5000 so I should buy at a lower price so that I could maximize my gain. Let's just see how far the price of bitcoin will go, there maybe a change of plan if something happen along the way.

If bitcoin falls to 2k I would spend a lot in it because i know that it will someday recover from it. I would buy not a lot though because i haven't got the money for it.

Every bitcoins lovers wait the price of btc until down, but in my opinion i can invest or buy btc if high today. in long run my investment is back someday.

Don’t overthink about it, set a price and once you do buy your bitcoin, if you try to buy at the very bottom you may miss the chance to do it, only a lucky few are able to guess and to act on it, to me it seems a good enough price to buy bitcoin is anything below 6000 dollars.

That is wrong aproach in investing. You cannot wait for price to come to certain level all the times. I believe every level is good to buy btc.

You can't really know when the price will crash or dump. The point is you should buy anytime because the market continues to grow. Buy when the price is somehow low compared to the average. The hype of bitcoin will just continue to increase because of the growing world of crypto currency, this means that the price will just continue to increase.

I will buy bitcoin when it is at 5k again last night it was so and i missed my chance but right now i am glad and will wait till it becomes this low again or otherwise i just buy big and sell later when it is bigger than i bought it for.

I think that the best time to buy bitcoin is around 2k but i doubt that that will happen i think that bitcoin will keep having a high value.

Good question, I regret last year that even I heard about the future of Bitcoin and the same time the Bitcoin value is at a thousand dollar per coin but I didn't tried to give an effort to invest because I just gave my big portion of my money to support my family. But if Bitcoin will drop as low as a thousand dollars then I definitely invest a single coin because I know that Bitcoin will rise again and again because the world needs Bitcoin and cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.

That's a good reange. Although in myself I tried to convince when Bitcoin dropped a little bit like $2k then I'll invest half or somewhere BTC 0.3 because that's all I can afford. But now, it's only in dreams because I don't think Bitcoin will drop more lower than $3k.

Ive experienced this year that bitcoin dumps in 80k but this is was a few minutes only then rise again this was happen i cant remember if about may 2017 but it never happen again so i might say that if bitcoin dump again i will buy it for the price 50k.

I think you probably put it to low. I think that anything that is bellow $6000 is a good price to get bitcoin. Even now it seems to be recovering and consolidating again, so you probably wont have many chances in getting it bellow $6k. Anyway you should really look for the long run. You have the institutional money coming in to the market, you have the 2020 halve, so the fluctuations don't really matter. In the long run, even if the coins were at $8k they were still cheap, so in my opinion you can buy them now, if you have the funds to invest in them.

I think for now its very difficult to fall the price of Bitcoin on a $5000 mark. Most of the time and it is proven in the previous years of BTC that after the price fall the bitcoin price will rise up again. Its better to buy now at price of $6000.

After the last movements on price I decrease my expectation around 2kUSD levels, I know seems to be a bit low but there was a huge drop and the news are not positive in my perspective.

I believe it will go below 4300$ when something happens like what happened in China. But for now, I do not think it will go below 5000$. The bitcoin price is unpredictable, but not too hard to notice the fall and the rise. People are in control of them both.

So if they want to grow the price, they will do so and vice versa. Personally, I would wait until the price decreases. It is just a faith, not something based on a fact.

The current dip made me start to buy bitcoin again, and since some of my altcoin holdings are on green, i tend to convert them to Bitcoin and wait for another Bitcoin price rally.  I believe this recent dip had given investors an opportunity to buy Bitcoin at cheaper price than lat's week price where bitcoin almost hit $8000.  Definitely this is one of the better time to enter bitcoin market, well if it go deeper then that is a good sign to buy more.

But what if its price will not go down the way you like it?  I think it is better to buy bitcoin when atleast its price went down.  Because no one can really guess when and as to how much it will go down.  As long as I have money then that is the price I want.

This is a buy signal, you could risk missing out here and have to try your luck in another asset. Bitcoin never drops when people want to buy + you now got the big boys in the game. What i do if buy half if we have any kind of dip and buy the other half later when its either broken out again upwards or dips even deeper - tried and tested method i tell ya.

I'm already buying. There's a high chance that Bitcoin will bounce back to retest the ATH. It's a common thing for a tradable asset to fall down after breaking a support line, stay below it for a while and try to attack it again. Investors always want to see how big the selling pressure at that point is to know if there's a chance it will go up or not.

I would start buying it at $4,000, but it's not likely to happen soon. Thus it's like my dream. The price is very stable above $5,000 and even the correction waves, that wall and support line were not destroyed yet.

I think the pattern won't change a lot in 2018 as well.

Yes it is very unlikely to happen that the price of Bitcoin will go back at below $5000 and even $4000 mark, not unless there is something bad happens with Bitcoin and when there is I think it will be more less than that, this corrections in price that recently happened must be the buying point for all off you if you really want to invest more on it as I think it is already stabilizes at this point of time.

We all can speculate all day though but also think of the fact that Bitcoin always goes up in price since last year so better trust it or regret not buying/investing at all.

A couple days ago, the price of bitcoin was down a bit, i think there are many people bought a lot of it, and maybe some investor sold their bitcoin too, but for me the price is still not on my range number to buy. For me, if it can goes back to below 1000usd, i would buy a lot of it, but i guess it cant be as low as that number right now because bitcoin is going strong. It is only a dream by a mere man like me.
But to be realistic, about 4000-5000 usd is a great price to buy bitcoin in a great amount, because people predicting, and im hoping, that bitcoin will and can reach 100k, but it is not in a near time, but in a couple years ahead. Buying bitcoin in this number would be reasonable as many suggest the price can be doubled from now and we will get a lot of profit from this.
Other than that numbers, i think i will not buying it, because the recent event, market is going crazy just because some people decided to manipulate it and drives me crazy too. But thanks god the price is already recovered now.

Wait again until the price drops at 5k USD, if you have bought bitcoin yesterday, you have bought at the right time, but if yesterday you hesitate to buy it, I think now you can buy it if you are sure. Just wait at 5k USD I'm sure it will happen again.

My plan was to buy 5500  then 5000  then 4500 and so on.   All the way down to 1000 if needed and possible :o ;D   

During its price crash, I'm hoping for the bitcoin to go down by $4000 or lower so  I can be able to buy some more but as of this moment it goes back to $6500 level again. It is unlikely to go lower for the next few days or weeks as the bitcoin seem to go high.

i don't think that it will go down to 5000$. Bitcoin's value is now again, climbing its way up. So you better invest now to make use and benefit from the downfall. I will invest wether its value is 7000$ or higher because I believe that as time passes by, it will continuously increase and be more expenaive. But ofcourse, it will be an advantage if you will be able to buy at a low price.

Right now im so eager to buy BTC, it just need to drop to 6k again for me to buy. But I think it will never reach  below $5000k anymore as the price right now keeps on increasing (current $6600k). With the current progress on price and no fork/event that gonna happen on succeding days i predict its to easy to reach 8k before it might drop a little again.

When the price is very low like around 2k because that is the price that it is possible to reach for bitcoin and i think that bitcoin will then go up again to make a lot of money and we also gain a lot of money so in the time that this will happen i will join airdrops.

I would buy it when bitcoin hits 1k at least because it is going to take a lot of your money. So it will stress you when you invest in bitcoin and see that it is dropping hard.

Thats why i will invest when bitcoin is back at 1k. This will not stress me because i have many btc then.

If it reaches $4500, I'd hoard no matter what. I'll even go to lengths by borrowing money from my friends and I'll promise to pay them next year. I want to make my money's worth on bitcoins and buy as much as possible. I'll be expecting a double in my revenue in the 1st quarter of 2018.

To be honest,i have intention to buy bitcoin now.Recently it has gone little down for cancelling the hard fork.So its a great oppprtunity to get bitcoin around 6500$ price range.

You can see that  in trading  emotion does not come in, otherwise you will be losing money all the time. If you had exercise a little patient you would have been in serious profit. BTC as at now  is back above $7000.

i set the buying limit at 6000 and also at 6300 and 6150.. in addtion i did somethin on 5500 too but i thinks i only have a few as it rises again ! but im ok with it i wanna see the bitcoin flying again though ! bough some at 6600 too !

I would prefer the level of dollar 4000 only. If the price would get this much low then this would become affordable for me to buy more coins. This is not going to happen for many years from now and that is why I am bit sad about my present situation.

I need many coins in my wallet because I am running out of them after back to back losses in the trading of coins. I have given up on this method and tried to join the signature campaigns and the discussion forums.

I think when I have money in my hand I will not look at the price at that time to the price, because I think that every price is reasonable for buying if you have the purchasing power. The price of bitcoin is increasing day by day as it reached to almost 7000 dollars and I think in the near future the price of bitcoin will reach to 10000 dollars. A lot of people must be following me closely because it must have been my signal that triggered the 20% pull back :D

Thankfully I did manage to use some restraint so it wasn't such a big investment.   Live and learn.

Due to the increasing price of Bitcoin nowadays, I can't really say at what price should I buy one. But, as an estimation, maybe at least half like $2000 to $2500 as a start.
