Title: Conspiracy! Several exchanges went dark right before BCH crash Post by: niko83 on November 12, 2017, 10:25:11 AM I was holding BCH when the parity was ~2400 USDT/BCH. Just as I was getting ready to dump it all, Poloniex started acting weird. I couldn't see the order book nor could I give any orders but I could see the price fall like a stone to ~ 1600 USD. Tradingview stopped reporting the price of BCH at the same exact time so I know this issue was not related to me. Many others confirmed that several exchanges went dark simultaneously. I had earned a decent amount with my trades but 80% of it went up in smoke in 10 minutes.
What do I think? I think this was organized. Several exchanges going dark at the same time? I just can't be sure whether the exchanges were in on this. Was it a DDoS attack or what? Wtf just happened? |
