If from those two to pick only BTC. Thats an easy one. The real question is hold BTC or go after altcoin: NEO,RIPLE,MONERO just to name a few with big long potential.... 

There's better coins than BCH to get into, BCH is just another alt.

i think i will only stick with bitcoin for a long investment but for daily trading or weekly trading, i think if bitcoin cash can give me more profit then i think i want to trade btc-bch or bch-fiat. as long as i can make real money from btc and bch, i think i can do buy and sell and finally make profit with that coins.

BTC is better and the best for a long term investment and we already know that bch is only a clone of bitcoin and will be forever an altcoin. Bitcoincash price increase recently because some people want to take down bitcoin. They are dumping the bitcoin and make a hype for bitcoincash to increase the price of BCH

Bitcoin price is not going to drop too much and go blow $6k. As its a hardfork for BCH, the value is increasing which is causing BTC price decrease. Invest in BCH now. The team will surely keep BCH move forward with a standard growth. Ofcourse BTC will rarely have a chance to decrease too muchafter the hardfork ends. So, always its a good investment relying on BTC.

I dont think i will choose bitcoin cash for long term invesment, because BCH is so new to the community, no one has enough brave to invest in alone, despite it has more advantages than btc, but btc price now are so high that can easily attract investors to it, so i think i will need time to change my view to use BCH.

It is a difficult question to answer: Bitcoin Cash is superior because of block size, transactions speed, and low fees. But it is very young.
Bitcoin is here since 2009, I don't believe Bitcoin will crash so I would still go for Bitcoin and hope the teams behind do something to accelerate transactions very soon.

I choose BTC, BCH or BTG are only fund management, they should be called altcoin, not much things to do with btc. But it indeed influence the market.

bitcoin is the number one and coin is quite good and cheaper than bitcoin cash eth is a good option price of eth does not overshadow too much when bitcoin is too high it is cultured from 286-300 but eth has pretty recovered fast when bitcoin stops rising. Bitcoin cash is a pretty good coin bch has faster bitcoin trading speed but does not mean it is the most popular. I think the price of bitcoin cash has suddenly risen dramatically and it's just a drama that will surely return to its old value soon.

From my own point of view, I would always choose BITCOIN above Bitcoin Cash in the sense that Bitcoin is very stable and been there in the cryptoworld dominating all the time. Though BCH scares BTC holders recently, but it is just not enough to prove that BTC will hand over the torch it's holding for a long time.
If you have noticed the market value of BTC that went down recently, then that's the right time for you to invest on it since as of this writing, BTC's market value started to rise again while BCH's falls down back.

If looking for long term holding , my opinion is BTC because it's a king , how about holding 50% BTC and 50% BCH  ???

Definitely btc is best but don't take bch lightly because they are backed by some of the hard core people from Bitcoin ecosystem. Maybe in years after today both will be parallel in value this could be true.

BTG & BCH can't offer anything except huge blocks and less fees for now. No smart contracts or anything else. It's silly to determine them as non speculative tools, IMHO.

Until now i still belive in bitcoin, we know bitcoin is the parent of cryptocurrency, meanwhile bitcoin cash is fraction from bitcoin. Apart from yesterday's incident that's very impresive for bitcoin cash, but for the moment bitcoin cash back to dump.

If you plan to invest nowadays, bch looks better than btc but you cannot be sure as bch increases steady like btc does for a long time. I think in the long run, btc always beats these coins. On the other hand, we cannot see the expected rates on btc recently. However, I would say btc at the end of the day. Obviously, this is not an investment advice.

In financial markets, nothing is predicted ahead of time with a guarantee. The best option will always be to diversify the risks. Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are not bad tools, in my opinion, invest in both.

BCH became popular because of it's transaction speed, but that is only at this time, by next year the 2MB block add will have been capped and their transactions will start to go slower and slower as well, so their speed is only temporary. Also the miners switch to whatever is more beneficial to mine, last week bitcoins difficulty was higher than BCH, so most miners switched to mining BCH which led to the rising of BCH price, now that the difficulty has catched up most miners switched back to BTC again. This happens now and then when miners see an alt coin being more profitable at the current time, they will switch into mining that untill it is not and switch again, it's pure bussiness.

Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash both are on same scale. Both are good for investment. Bitcoin cash is good in transaction speed and less transaction fees. The price of bitcoin increase day by day. In future surely it will have tremendous growth than Bitcoin cash.

My suggestion is bitcoin as compared to BCH.Bitcoin price is always greater than BCH. The raise of bitcoin price in time period is greater than the BCH price in that time period.You can check the past graphical raise of Bitcoin Price with the current price to Know the fact.

Lol. I wouldn't even consider comparing bitcoin to bitcoin cash. Bitcoin cash just isn't worthy to be  compared to bitcoin. Period.

Bitcoin cash's market value went off the charts last week but didn't last that long because Bitcoin is charging back again and even hits the 8k USD mark. So if i were you, i am going to invest in bitcoin.

i think that BCH is better than BTC but BTC is only one and BCH is and will be only altcoin.

Pick the one that can last for a long time and remain strong even how many times it falls.
And that is bitcoin, no one cna surpassed the power of bitcoin.

If Bitcoin Cash gets listed on Coinbase, I'm all in. If Bitcoin is a storage of value, we need another coin for everyday spending (who want's to spend something always appreciating in value, slow transaction times, fees, etc.) We will go with Litecoin I believe until CB list's Bcash and things start to get interesting.

I believe in BCH, on a long term that would work better since no1 is ready for those high transaction costs

I don't know so far i  still belive in bitcoin, how much risk for invest in bitcoin and how long bitcoin stay alive i just wanna invest on bitcoin, because he the first cryptocurrency,  and i think there will be no coin in the crypto world if the bitcoin does not exist. Personally if invest in BCH is very risk because the price very volutile.

While I agree that 2MB blocksize is needed to buy time to implement another solution for micro transaction, I disagree the ethics of Bitcoin Cash.

Also large block size is not without its own problem - the mining will be even more centralized than it already is.

I really wonder why anyone will even find it confusing. BCH is not even a coin anyone should even be thinking to have a huge prospect in the long run. Sure, we cannot predict the future, but comparing BCH with BTC is like comparing Volks with Lambo. Come on! I am always think that btc is some kind a old technology but bth is not a coin to replace it. however trading on bch is very profitable.

If you are clever, buy a currency when is down and sell when is high. Bitcoin is now high, and high is also the risk around it.

I prefer BTC because I better understand BTC. At BTC I can mine with signature. On the signature I can do a question and answer session that must meet the signature requirements based on the rank we already have.

BTC can't replace with BCH because BTC is a well established and most trust-able coin. So as I think, it is not possible to compare BTC and BCH in any way.

Do I need to answer that question? perhaps you now what could many of here in this forum would say, isn't? You knew how strong and established bitcoin, while BCH was just just being created this year only and bitcoin was already 9 years. So, of course I'm still with Bitcoin.

I'd probably pic BTC since BTC has been the foundation of cryptocurrencies and is tested already as a long term currency. As to its brother BCH, it is not stable yet and there's a long way for this cryptocurrency to prove its fellow cryptos and investors about its longevity.

I'll go for both of it, I never dumped BCH and don't have plans of doing so now. Bitcoin of course my major coin that has a bigger percentage of where my wealth is. I'll keep on holding these two coins as they are both profitable to me. I don't to want to compare on which is the best investment because as long as these two are giving me some good profit that is making my time worth it, I'm in.

actually both of them are good and have a potential for invesment but how can you say that bitcoincash is  a high profile ponzi scam? have you been scammed before by bitcoincash?  bitcoincash is just another altcoin that you can invest and trade. overall , dividing your capital on both coins will be the best idea and can give you much return in just a matter of time because both of them are highly volatile and will more likely to increase and pump among other coins plus they also got a good support of people and community behind them.

This I think is a tough question to answer because both of them have merits. If we are going to talk about their differences, advantages and disadvantages to each other, then we have to stay here until winter becomes summer. It's that long. So for me, since I think they are both good, I will be investing to both. BCH has yet to prove itself because it is too young, but it is already promising. But BTC is already tried and tested. It is battle scarred but keeps on going and going and in the recent turns of event seems no sign of slowing down. So why choose? If you can choose both?

We all know what i the best answer for this question, and the best was bitcoin investment not BCH, and there are so mnay things that we need to consider why bitcoin, first was it has big a community who believed in it, second there are so many merchants all around the world that accepting bitcoin as payment, then money transfer is one of the major usages of bitcoin by its users.

I think it's a bit late to invest in BTC.. and at BCH I still doubt whether it would be experience pumping back or even it continuesly to decline on price movements.. seems to me amid a sense of confusion and haven't been able to determine for the next investment due of lack on balances.

Of course, it is Bitcoin! But if you are really doubting the future of Bitcoin, then why don't you also buy some Bitcoin Cash for long term holding. I would definitely choose bitcoin. Actually i would choose bitcoin over any coin if we are talking generally. Of course there are some alt coins that you can profit faster if you invest in the right time but alt coins like bitcoin cash are temporarily pumped coins and in long term they are no match for bitcoi.

BCC tries to solve all the problems with the network and transaction fees, but I don't think it can surpass the bitcoin by capitalization. There is no doubt that it will be succeed, but still the crypto community will mostly use BTC.

BCH will always be unstable since it is being manipulated. The only thing keeping bitcoin from going into extinction right now is just those manipulations since the main dudes behind it have all the resources to pull it off. To me, there is nothing interesting about the coin and for those who are trapped in it right now hoping to get a lot from it, they had better just move back to BTC to at least find solace at the end.
