Title: Bitcoin vs Bitcoin Cash?
Post by: aqaq715 on November 12, 2017, 02:26:28 PM
Both BTC and BCH become more and more precious. I think bitcoin is diamond and bitcoin cash is cash ... this one for storage and the other for transfer payment, they help each other and not vs!

I agree with your point of view, although I would say that bitcoin is more like digital gold and not diamonds. Of course the comparison itself is not very important though. The important thing here is that bitcoin should be seen as a store of value asset, and bcash, although right now is not really anything, will definitely try to compete for the digital cash market. So it will competing with dash or monero or zcash, or even litecoin, and so many other alts, but is not really competing with bitcoin.

Given the crazy things that are going on with the market right now, I think it's very important to get this right. Bcash is not competing with bitcoin, and is ot following the same goals. Yes bitcoin could work as a currency as well, but I think it got away from that path long time ago. Bitcoin is entering the financial market, and is being born as an true asset now. It's bitcoin futures we will get in the end of the year, it's not bcash futures. The Wall street guys don't even know what the other alts are, and that is very important.

I think there is not bitcoin vs anything right now. There is bitcoin as digital gold, and as an investment, and there is bcash and a lot of other coins trying to find their way as digital cash.

BCH is a beautiful surprise because of its bloated blockchain and high transfer fees. It's great to think of bitcoin as a diamond, but BCH, I think it's going to go down right away, it's just a altcoin.

No dude don't buy any BCH as the price has dumped now and will be decreasing more in the upcoming days.
The sudden increase in its price was due to a surge and hype in the market that it is going to beat BTC and thus it increased in price dumping BTC.
Now the people have dumped BCH by which the price has reached 0.2btc . People will be exiting its market and hence it will decrease in price.Just hold on to your BTC as it will recover in price soon.

I think the market is going in favour of bitcoin cash gradually, you should proceed what you have decided.
Developers desire to make the bitcoin cash possess evenest value as bitcoin. If you buy 0.25 BTC now, you might get the amount four times greater based on condition bitcoin cash surges toward $5000.
Don't wait, just go for it, bitcoin cash is going to become prominent in rank.

Bitcion is the best for long term investment, because it’s growing rapidly and has the biggest market cap, than bitcoin cash. i don't think that today's bump was speculation to Introduce fear, because as i know bitcoin cash has got 8 MB block size, more than bitcoin, but no one has experience about bitcoin cash, despite this both BTC&BTC are usefull.finally, i don't believe that   bitcoin cash will over take bitcoin price, because people trust it and the popularity is hight.

while bitcoin cash is simple low fees and fast transactions. this is bitcoin fast and low fees.

i think ,Bitcoin Cash is a fork of Bitcoin. It may look like Bitcoin Cash is just a less expensive Bitcoin, but there are some big differences in the technology. What happened was Bitcoin basically disagreed on how to solve the scaling issue so it split up. Bitcoin Cash simply adjusted the block size to solve the scaling issue while Bitcoin Core uses SegWit. Bitcoin Cash believes SegWit has bad intentions and does not want to use it. :)

People don't actually need bitcoin cash. I think it would be useless and will just cause confusion to more people specially when talking about bitcoin. Bitcoin is already a mean for mode of transaction. And also, bitcoin can be exchanged for cash. People nowadays prefer online payments and bitcoin is the best mode of payment. The existing cash already had an equivalent value in bitcoin that's why we don't need bitcoin cash anymore.

Don't buy any BCH. And sell all you have.
Why? Because when fork happend, community didn't decided to use it. If we will decide as community, that change to block size is needed, then we will decide to do another fork and we will have 100% of new coins without the need to race who will flip to BCH first.
Bitcoin is strong because of the community and we should decide what is best for us and not few rich miners that are hoping to get even more rich because they bought all useless coins nobody were using, and now trying convince us to buy from them for a premium. Don't get fooled by this.

Those of you who did nothing with their cryptos for the last year are only getting richer because they got as many forked altcoins as they had Bitcoins and all these markets combined are growing in value. Some money is going to Bitcoin, some to Bitcoin Gash and some to Bitcoin Gold, but since you got all of them you're only getting richer.

true, better bch used as tool only, do not use as bitcoin competitor. because it is not possible, let alone bitcoin has been standing long enough too, so any coin who wants to compete with bitcoin will not be able to

I also agree because it is so cheap to send bitcoincash and white expensive sending bitcoin and there is some lag. Bitcoincash is so fast, it's perfect for smaller transfers. I think it's best to use Bitcoin as long term investment and to sometimes make bigger purchases and for the smaller ones bitcoincash. So the bitcoincash will be for the shorter term.

BCH showing their true colors with massive manipulation by a few billionaires. Time will tell, but I think they get dropped like a bad habit. They're playing dirty. That can pay off in a quick money grab, but never long term.

There is nothing comparable about the bitcoin and bitcoin cash. Bitcoin is only a currency and bitcoin cash is in easy words a one on one transaction method that is of decentralized nature ad has a greater role in transacting the coins through the method of direct exchange. Although both of them are somewhat similar but bitcoin would definitely be at the upper level always in terms of the scalability.

Bitcoin cash is the product of bitcoin so you wont let it be compared, but perhaps these are both useful and very much effective to the community and to the economy. Bitcoin has a big use and bitcoin cash is a new currency that is produced by bitcoin, and if i will choose, ill choose bitcpin because it is more reliable and currency friendly.

Your comparison is very far from what I'm thinking. But well I had to agree that bitcoin is sort of precious stone like diamond and bitcoin cash is unexplainable for me. I just keep on holding my bitcoin and luckily I still have a few of it. I regret volumes of it before since last year when I was a panic seller but things are changing here in crypto and I keep on learning things about it.

I agree these two crypto currencies do not compete rather they help each other to penetrate the growing market of cryptos

I agree with the statement that the original bitcoin is more like digital gold now, as it becomes more a function of a value store, and bitkoyn cash is increasingly used as a means of payment and, thus, they seem to complement each other. However, this was due to the fact that bitkoyn discovers his shortcomings as a means of payment, and bitkoyn cash does not have these drawbacks.

Since, BCH was created at fork SegWit. BCH issue was created by the miners. They created BCH because it mining gained more profit than Btc. Viewed from other functions, the use of BCH is still less to be implemented in the global of online shopping, while Bitcoins has been adopted by several organizations for use as online payment.

Bitcoin cash is a copy cat that wants to replace bitcoin from it's throne as the king. Bitcoin cash is just a forked coin so why should it replace bitcoin on the first place, is there a difference on investing in BCH? Unlike alternate coins which have their own use BCH don't have any it is just the same as Bitcoin.

Wow this is good way to think about the two rivals of each other. I mean its like if things can be better by being friends then why to make enemies, isn't it! Yeah it sound good way to work with block chain and profit from the both currencies. I mean this will distribute the investor base equally to both of these coins and thus will make it more stronger pair to trade on. This can help us grow our wealth in systematic ways and we won't be in stress where to put our money, whether it should go into bitcoin or bitcoin cash. If they kept fighting on which one is the real bitcoin then this can never be achieved so I guess this one could be the good way out to work collaboratively. Cool one.

The transactions are essentially the same (other than the very small number that are segwit on BTC) so it's pretty much a wash.

There will be natural pushback on the block size as adoption continues and there will be greater incentives to generate layer-2 solutions (rather than trying to put the cart before the horse as is happening now). Solutions should happen naturally, not be forced or we end up with farces like Solyndra.

Pre-existing blockchain size is an issue, I agree and there are some things that could be done to help with that but it seems that anything that doesn't attempt to push things on to layer 2 (a solution which is currently non-existent) sees very little developer interest.

The flippening will come in less than 1 year.  There is no useful function of the Core system (Bitcoin Core) until Lightning comes out.  So, wallets, merchants, end users are all moving to BCH where things work smoothly.  In about 12 months, there will be a flippening.  Both will be $7500 when it happens.

No question about that mate, bitcoin is more popular than bcc and its just few big whales who's playing with bcc unlike bitcoin there's already a
large numbers of players so its hard for manipulators to controlled the price, bitcoin will remain and will be much stable in the long run.
