I see many of the traders buy altcoins when major coins rise and book those coins at very low prices. Before buying , they do good research about the developer and their products as well for safe investment. Altcoins are always good for short term returns and they can be waited if the product is doing good and the company is following the roadmap and achieving milestones. From my point of view, i will take my short term profits on altcoins and wait for the market to make a correction again for buying the coins.

I have been buying alts myself and telling a lot of my friends and other people who ask me that its the time to get into alt coins. But for alts to pump bitcoin should not really dump the way it did today. It has to be a slow bleed, else people will just panic and alts might also get affected.

Base of altcoins is bitcoin indeed. Thats why it is possible to Invest altcoins at all time IMO. Compare it in terms of USD. For example my bag remained almost same during BTC raise. I lost in terms of BTC but i did not lost anything in terms of USD

Yes, now is a good chance to buy all kinds of altcoin, but BCH prices are not down, and they are always uncomfortable.It's worth noting, however, that some of the altcoin developers have disappeared, and be careful not to buy such altcoin!

I do not think it is a good time to buy all kinds of altcoins, I do not think all the altcoins are promising, but some hot projects like avt, amb are worth to buy since the price are below the ico price in my opinion.

no, this still not a good time to buy altcoins now, altcoin is rising again, because they are being effected by bitcoin cash and bitcoin confliction recently, so it is gaining benefits from BCH and BCT, so you should wait until the next year or next month to see  whether altcoins will drop or not then you can have your decision to buy altcoins or not.

Altcoin is potentially getting a pretty high yield in the future, I think that any half a year, they will be very profitable, for some reason, the main thing that the company was a success and carried out their plans.

You can't never know, if there is a bch vs btc war and both start going up, a lot of traders will pump money from alt to btc forks.

The split is surely off but there is a lot of mess in the market with the competition between BCH and BTC. People were manipulating BCH price so that they can dump their bags on others and get out with profit. They have achieved their goals and will be investing in Altcoins now. It is a good time to buy altcoins but it would be necessary to make sure whether we are buying it at a good price or not. The price must surely increase in a few months if we buy and hold it right now.

Nobody had predicted such a thing. Who came to mind like that? what I had in my mind was definitely coming from the bitcoin to the altcoins of money. but it did not happen. I think they wanted to make some cash on bcc . They will hang out like this a little bit. one day the altcoin market will come up. From next week I think that the rising starts. Uhh you're already kind of late, it sounds like that you're just a pleb who manage to bought a legendary account. Plus, some alts may already been priced in. And it looks like where already heading another mini bear cycle for alts.

It's not a good time to buy Altcoins. It's time to invest in Bitcoins. Because the bitcoins have fallen we can buy cheap. And when it's richer again I'm sure it's worth the $ 10,000 price so now it's gone. Because it might be the last time we can buy 6,000 $ bitcoins. The cancellation of split doesn't mean that the altcoins will definitely grow now. There may be chances for a few of the alts to increase it price in the coming days but nya that time I guess bitcoin will start to recover. The recovery of bitcoin will once again be a challenge for the altcoins because with bitcoin recovery most probably the renowned alts may lose their values once again as it happened for the last few weeks.

Anytime can be a great time, of course not if the altcoin's price is going down but as soon as possible it is advisable to invest on some altcoins that you think are actually worth it, and profitable.

I always believed in alts, ethereum, litecoin and monero. And those low price alts that would have so much potential to grow big in the future. With this shifting from bitcoin to alts, many people would start to recognize other coins which are somehow more efficient and more effective.

Strong alts could be the option for sure. Like ETH, DASH, LTC, NEO, XMR, QTUM, OMG. But low alts with small market isn't great choice right now, imho. We have to find where money from btc will go first.

All alt coins are dipping. I invested in AMB - it has a good project ( U.N and Swiss governments are backing it, according to its site and whitepaper) and the coin was a grower ( naturally dipped with the whole BTC thing going on). Also it was listed on BINANCE and Etherdelta by popular demand - a good sign!

It's quite a good time to buy alts right now, with the canceled fork and all the hype going on about a coin that is basically valueless, the one's who will benefit eventually are the undervalued altcoins! Ethereum for exmaple has some awesome updates on store and I'm wondering why people are not discussing about this stuff already. Just think of it, complete privacy for a smart contract blockchain platform. That's a world first! And when it happens it will start attracting big institutions and banks because they are interested in protecting their customers private information and Ethereum is doing exactly that. PoS is great too, everyone will just need to hold a couple of coins and receive dividents for the rest of their life's! There is no expiration date and no additionals fees you have to take. This is definitely something big and I hope people are smart enough to already start investing in it, otherwise they will miss the boat.

The soonest time! Altcoins are popping out and many of them came from great ideas and projects that is why they rise. Others are just rubbish. My advice is to invest in altcoins with calculated risk. That is to include doing a lot of research before hopping in.

Some wanted to buy lower value coins but potentially holding it and in time will profit them. There are many alrcoins in the blockchain that is very promising and valued are rocketing. You just have to know your coins to entrust your money.

Investing Altcoin should be vigilant because cheaper coins that is just newer came out some of them were tagged as scams so be careful.

the principle of trading and investing is buying when the price is cheap, and resale when the price goes up. I have not experienced enough to assess the potential of a coin. investing has risks, especially with new altcoins and ico. for me it's better to invest in a trusted altcoin like ethereum, because ethereum is great for long-term investing

I would say that this is the best time when prices of bitcoins are stabilizing. You can buy so much cheap alts right now after most of the altcoins when down after the sudden price increase of bitcoins. I would buy DOGE right now since prices are really low for it right now, and if it does pump back to 120 sats each that would be a 600% profit! Based on the charts DOGE always does hit 120 sats at some point.

I fully agree with your opinion, this is the best time to enter in altcoin investment as many altcoins are at rock bottom prices and never give chance again to buy at these low prices. Bitcoin is at life time high and it is ready for a solid correction and it will boost altcoins market.

I think the best moment for investing in alt coins was just before the announcement.
Because most alt coins made a jump immediately after the announcement.

everybody's best investing time or idea could be different. this conversations and suggestions are so general and certain.

Last few days price of btc droped to 5600 and I think next correction will be to 3600  it will be time to buy. then the btc price will start rises again. if now you invest to altcoins you get 2x bitcoins and more, because price of altcoins will rises also.

I watch the daily and weekly charts, you should buy after the fall, usually the processes are cyclical and if you correctly enter the normal coin you can make a profit of 20-50%

I agree, it is always good to buy alt coins til it is cheap, but you should choose what coin you invest to because not all are capable of rising like bitcoin. You invest in a coin that you think can grow in the near future. Imagine what happened to bitcoin years ago. It came from a small beginnings, look what it is now. If you invested 20 us dollars in bitcoin 5 years ago, you would be sitting with 7000 us dollars by now, correct me if i am wrong.This could also happen to some altcoins so now is the good time to invest before you regret it.

The best strategy for me if you want to invest in altcoin with a great entry and best time then you should buy bitcoin when the price of bitcoin is low and keep it and wait for the price of bitcoin to go up and if the price of bitcoin is really high then just move it into an exchange site and buy some altcoins there because their price will be cheaper than before.

The best time to invest in altcoin is when it is on its early stage such as Pre ICO because the price is usually low and some campaign are kind enough that gives you bonus for investing to them or for buying their Initial Coin Offering or ICO. When the campaign is successful, this only means that you will surely profit when you hold or exchange their coins since usually the price of thier coins is usually high at this peaks but not all coins promise that. If their campaign is not successful, you can still earn profit but not high enough.

I agree with you buying bitcoin will not give you that much of money, but buying an altcoins such as populous or paypie is more profitable.

There are some times, that we see that most of the altcoin values are decreased (due to some important coin-related news). Anytime except those times are convenient for altcoin investment. I have experienced and learnt that if all the people say that "this time is the best time for altcoin investment", then it is not.

I think you should wait until the next year or next month to see whether altcoins is drop or not.
but all is depending on what is most important to you,I think better it's to invest in a trusted altcoin like ethereum,because ethereum is great for long term investing :)

Alts market is pumping right now so i dont recommend to purchase alts right now,but if you already have this is the best time to get profits.

It is best to watch the market of bitcoin and observe for the all time highs of bitcoin because if the market of bitcoin have a new all time high then it is automatic for the altcoins to have a huge drop in bitcoin price because it is adjusting because of the market of bitcoin and that is the best time to invest in altcoins.

Some altcoin like ETH,DASH, WAVES and LTC indeed strong fundamental coin but I think more strong in Bitcoin and more profitable too. In my opinion by portfolio investment 60% Bitcoin and 40% for altcoin will be good idea. But for now wait until drop about 10% then buy it for longterm investment. And for the better buy those altcoin with USDT/Fiat currency because the price of Bitcoin and ETH also strong bullish now.

for that matter i already understand but the problem i still do not know about ico is very potential for fore i only invest on 2 projects that hold ico and i still hesitate in that because there is still no sign that the project will potentially for my tread .

1. Altcoin launch time, but must be careful about fake coins.
2. Altcoin price drops to base price. Can be seen on the chart price (red candle).
3. There is good news about the altcoin.

It's a normal market cycle.  Just check the Market Capitalization chart on CMC.  Spike up, trend down a bit, spike back up, trend down again, etc.  ALTs are good buys on the down trends (like the past couple of days).  Buy low, sell high

Now i think it's too difficult to find out an altcoin which its price can pass bitcoin in the future, Ethereum is only altcoin can be done this. November, 30 was the best time to invest into altcoins as almost all of them were down. However, you can also come into the cryptocurrency market if you choose Ripple or Monero. Just do not but coins when they are on their rise.

Although i do agree with you to an extent there are still quite a few tokens out there that are not sky high currently.
Also I get you say to wait a few weeks / months but no one really knows what the future holds, bitcoin for example you could wait a week / month to see what happens and in that amount of time bitcoin could reach 15k - 20k and then would miss out on extra profits. But also in that time it could settle down and fall down to 5.5k.
Currently NEO is pretty low and I personally feel it might be a good time to buy in, but with any type of trading no one knows what the future holds. I believe there are a few coins out there that are promising and can go to the moon, just need to read up adn decide what is the beast investment for your portfolio.

I agree with this statement! Altcoins are growing like never before, and its investments in ICOs are already beating traditional startup investment numbers. So yes, I believe that if the idea is worthy, now is the best time to start investing in altcoins. P.S. But be careful because a lot of scams come along with this hype as well.
